First of all, the service is amazing. The staff is warm and welcoming and they help explain the various flavors and are great in making their recommendations. Hawk[sp] the owner was also working hard and talking to customers and making sure that people were taken care of. Seemed like a genuine, welcoming, and hard working guy. Now let's talk about the food. We ordered 4 various flavors and also garlic noodles. I realize the photo only shows 3 flavors but we ordered 2 additional flavors that were not photographed. We ordered elvis wings + spicy Cambodian dirt wings + garlic wings + elephant wings + garlic noodles If I were to make a recommendation, I would suggest getting the elvis wings and the spicy Cambodian dirt wings. The reason being, you aren't going to get these flavor profiles on chicken wings at many places. The elvis wings are sweet and savory and has a bold profile. Keep in mind that It is a wet sauce that coats the wing. So do expect to get some sauce on your fingers and mouth. The first bite is like fireworks. Partly because even though the wing is coated with a wet sauce the wings are still crispy so you get that satisfying texture. There are peppers that are also cooked with the wings if you like a little bit of heat with your food. The spicy Cambodian dirt is also unique and satisfying. In terms of the spice level, you do not have to worry about it burning your taste buds. It has just enough heat so you know that it is there but nothing that overpowers the seasoning. This is a dry blend and has an enjoyable kick. The garlic wings were also good but they are similar to wings you might find at a Korean fried chicken place. The elephant wings are also unique because it is a wet peanut sauce on the wings. Because the elvis and Cambodian dirt wings pack more of a punch, the elephants were enjoyable but did not leave as lasting an impression. We also got an order of the garlic noodles which complemented the wings. The noodles are mildly seasoned so a number of people should be able to enjoy this. Overall, loved the wing experience at the restaurant. By ordering a variety of flavors our group was able to enjoy a food journey that hit different notes with each bite. If you order 16 wings then you can get 8 pieces if one flavor and 8 of another. The elvis wings are sold in a different setup so be sure to keep an eye out for the elvis wings and the prices. Only hiccup. Like most strip mall plaza locations parking can be a pain during busy times. But that is part of the experience of living in Los Angeles county so we are all used to dealing with that. Besides, there are so many more positives. The welcoming environment that the owner has set up just adds to the experience. No frills, no nonsense, just good food and warm hospitality. Lastly, what a great way to introduce Cambodian culture to the world. The spices, the smells, the flavors, may not be readily identifiable to everyone, but good food is good food, and the more that people try it the more that people will have their eyes opened to new cultures. I never grew up eating wings. This place breaks the stigma of them being small/greasy. Here, they're big/crisp. I ate more than normal because the substantial white meat made the fry less overwhelming. For takeout, sauce was thankfully separate, not soggy. I tried every flavor! So happy they offer small portions of 4 wings! 1. Water Buffalo - The best! Different and arguably better than normal "Buffalo" 2. Pekang - Dry, yet sweetly spiced like cinnamon sugar in a unique way unlike any I've ever tasted. 3. Dirty Elvis - Sticky sweet like teriyaki. Unsure why smaller portions aren't offered as it's a nice change of pace, but doesn't stand out enough to warrant premium. 4 and 5. "Orange Habanero" & "Sweet Spicy Garlic" - Both have fine flavor with mild heat that bites tongue at the end. They're nice, but not a must-try. "Orange" is citrus while "Sweet Spicy Garlic" is the common Thai dipping sauce. 6. Spicy Cambodian Dirt - Dry spices are mellow and don't pop as much. Heat bites tongue late. The sweetness of "Pekang" makes spices pop more and what I'd recommend over this. 7. Tala Peru - I ordered "Elephant" peanut sauce, but got this instead. This isn't listed anywhere. Salty, but not unique. Just strong wing flavor. Won't re-order. Sad I missed out on peanut :( Get the "Garlic Noodles"! Spicy garlic is like the chili sauce/paste you find at restaurants, so another good choice. Orange habanero is spicy, of course, so I loved it! The dirty Elvis has the consistency of a teriyaki sauce, it's a little viscous and has some dried chilies in it. Besides chicken wings, they also make a couple of Filipino-inspired dishes. We stopped by twice during the pop-up events last month and we ordered wings and the Filipino Grande both times. I love the seasonings they use and the wings are crispy and so flavorful! We enjoyed these flavors so far: Sweet Spicy Garlic, Orange Habanero, Cambodian Dirt and Dirty Elvis. I was so happy to hear recently that they are opened their brick and mortar location (currently in soft opening). I am excited that they are here to stay and am happy for their success. By far the most meaty and best flavorful wings, I've had specifically their Elvis wings. Tried their Cambodian dirt wings, their sweet, spicy garlic, and their water buffalo.
