    Best salad bar in KTown.

Do I recommend the Sizzler in Korea Town? My answer... If it's good enough for Anthony Bourdain, it's good enough for me. Honesty, "good enough" isn't good enough for me. I prefer pretty good, great, awesome, amazing or in rare cases, exceptional. So I would say Sizzler is pretty good and that's what gets me into that 80s atrium style dining room facing the corner of Vermont and 4th. I do the lunch salad bar and hot food bar. It's all you can eat, and with a drink and modest tip it comes out to around $20. For a hot lunch and well stocked salad bar that's pretty damn good in LA! The salad bar is consistently well stocked with many varieties of base greens, along with plentiful options of veggies, toppings, cheeses and dressings. The soup station at the end of the salad bar is more gridlocked than Wilshire Blvd - and for good reason! Broccoli cheddar, clam chowdah, and beef stew or chicken noodle are always hot, stocked and in demand. Now for the pièce de résistance! The hot food bar... Spaghetti that will make Chef Boyardee green with envy, a taco bar that will make you turn your nose up at The Bell, and crispy chicken wings worthy of Wingstop ranch! Go crazy and make yourself a meatball taco like Chef Bourdain. Be sure to leave room for a soft serve cone, brownie or cookie! I think they also have a menu and sell burgers and steaks. Or something. I've been told. The secret sauce here is in the salad bar. Be sure to tip your waitress.

Over the years, Sizzler always meets me where I am. Until now I did not appreciate how fresh the whole salad bar is, even how sweet the raw carrots are! Very little salad dressing is needed with the right mix of items. Better than Souplantation was for salad and soups. This Vermont location even stands out among other Sizzlers, with little things, like the sweet potato pomegranate salad was refilled even during busy hours, the ice cream bar has nuts and syrup pumps (not bottles), oyster crackers don't run out, and everything is generally fresher including the brownies.

I love sizzler what a great experience, easy to order parking in the back is free, salad bar was very well maintained, I had a really nice ribeye here also got the salad bar and a glass of wine, if you're never experienced Sizzler, I'd recommend going to this one, there's also a bowling next-door with a little bar inside of the bowling alley, if you wanna try something different for a night out, I'd recommend coming here and the food is very reasonable. Also, don't forget to get the Texas toast.

The food is okay. Shrimp doesn't taste seasoned. Service is cool and Ambiance is traditional Sizzlers. The fries were not good and had no flavor. Prices are not cheap so be prepared to spend over a $100 for a family of 4 or more. The taco bar is pretty cool.

I had Sizzler delivered via Uber Eats for my mom's birthday (she loves steak and shrimp!) To start, things were neatly packaged, making it super easy to plate! The pricing was also good, and the delivery time was accurate. I can't speak to the ambiance, as this was a delivery and not dine-in. She enjoyed the food, however my only complaints were that there were zero condiments for her baked potato, and her steak was not well done, so I had to cook it longer. My mom is a stickler about her steaks not having "pink," and even though I like mine pink, it's important to give the customer what they ask for. For the price point and quality, I do think I'd order again! I'd just reach out to my delivery driver to double check for condiments, and I might leave a note asking the restaurant to ensure they prepare the steak as instructed in the app.

Found a snipped corner of plastic bag in my mashed potatoes. That was the worst. The rest is inconsistent steak, missing sauce, no dressing... but that plastic? That's unforgivable. I've ordered from this location a dozen times and they always get something wrong. Why do I keep going back? Convenience, and pricing. But I now don't think it's worth it anymore.

If you are one of those that come here for the garlic bread, do not come here for the garlic bread the garlic bread here is not it. They are ripping people off. They look like they got pan BINBO and did the garlic bread on that. Other than that, everything is good. The vibe is good. Ambient is good very nice and created sizzler for family settings. I would recommend it, but if you were the ones that like the garlic bread, this is gonna make you crack up and laughter on the garlic bread I cannot believe they did that.

Not a fan of writing reviews for franchise but I really appreciate this location being in Koreatown! I wouldn't say they have the BEST food or the BEST service but sometimes this is just what you need... HAHA We went on a Sunday-- I'd highly recommend you avoid a Sunday HAAHA there will be GROUPS and GROUPS of families with young kids running around, so be careful if you're holding a lot of plates from the salad bar. I think the salad bar is solid - they office Salad and SOME hot food- once again not the best quality but those wings were *chef's kiss* I wouldn't say they are CHEAP either dinner for 3 came out to almost $100.00 Yes, definitely more affordable than most places nowadays with inflation but still not the cheapest. You DO get a LOT of food though. I sometimes crave Sizzler and I don't mind it at all!

Very low quality meat...very tough to to cut and chew AND....a lot of fat!!! Sad..it didn't have to be this way either

Think tuxedo at a pool party: definitely overdressed. But it was delicious, and I'd order it again--just with light dressing. The fish sandwich was fine, nothing more. Accompaniments like potatoes were OK, but could have more mushroom. Shell pasta - the pasta was homemade cause it tasted so light. I think the sauce was a little too light for me as well, but overall still a solid dish. Cioppino - Also a little lighter in flavor and I think just smaller in size in comparison to price. Seafood is fresh though, and that's clear in every dish here. Lonely Louie - the star of the night. I loved how fresh and bright this was. We sat at the high top tables along the side of the wall across from the bar. Really cool and casual interior, doesn't feel pretentious whatsoever. Warm and friendly staff. I was worried when looking at their menu online that they only had wine since I was craving a cocktail, but alas they do have cocktails! They have martinis or margaritas. I went with a martini and they ask how you like it so I got mine with gin, an olive and a twist. It was made perfectly and it was so good! We ordered 8 oysters from the specials menu (they have it written inside on chalkboard), the plate of frites, smoked trout dip, and a tuna aguachile dish they had on their specials menu. It was a small table but we got everything to fit because they smartly have a holder to lift the tray above the table which helps. Everything looked beautiful when it came out! The oysters were great, salty but not overly briney. The smoked trout dip with the roe on top was delicious, the buttery ritz crackers pair with it so nicely. I would get that again for sure. The aguachile was good as well, it had quite the kick to it too. And honestly fries are fries, yes, but these fries were maybe some of the best ones I've ever had. The menu changes enough to keep every visit interesting, especially the changing oyster selection. This time we had the Lil Namskaket oysters, which were clean, briny, and slightly sweet. Since we shared just about everything in our group of 4 this time, I got to try a wide variety of dishes. The Jonah crab cocktail was a highlight and ended up being my favorite shared plate. The tuna aguachile was bright and refreshing, the Sicilian crudo let the quality of the fish shine, the smoked trout dip (a repeat because it's so good) was creamy and smoky and was paired with crackers, and the scallop tostada was fresh and beautifully balanced. The two dishes that keep bringing me back, though, are the chowdaaa and the lobster bisque roll. As someone who grew up in New England, I'm pretty picky about my lobster rolls, and this one absolutely holds its own here on the West Coast. The clam chowder is another must-order. I don't care if it's the middle of summer during a heatwave--if it's delicious, it's delicious. The fried cod sandwich was satisfying and straightforward, and even the frites were addictive enough that I kept reaching for more. We skipped dessert this time because we were stuffed, but I've had the key-lime pie before and highly recommend saving room for it if you can do it. What I appreciate most about Found Oyster is its consistency. Every single time, the food has been outstanding, the service has always been friendly, and it's a place I genuinely look forward to returning to. If you're a seafood fan, this one absolutely deserves a visit. Street parking can be tough so plan accordingly. They do walk-ins but I'd recommend making a reservation, especially if more than 2 of you are going. Unsurprisingly, Simon has been lauded by news outlets and food critics abound. I've been dying to try Simon, but the limited and often unpredictable hours have kept me from it for months. My partner and I visited for a late weekend lunch and ordered immediately. We opted for 2 tacos (the Soft Shelled Crab and the Baja-style Fish) and a Large Aguachile Negro, and our made-to-order meal was prepared within a few minutes. Between the tacos, the crab was a clear winner. The crispy, whole crab was well-complemented by the fresh pineapple salsa and the rich chipotle crema. In stark contrast, the Baja-style fried fish was one-dimensional in flavor and ran on the soggy side, owing to the watery pickled cabbage slaw. But not even the crab taco could compete with the stellar aguachile. We couldn't get enough of the marinade's rich blend of acidity and smokiness, which overshadowed even the generous helping of fresh shrimp. Simon's complimentary salsa lineup also exceeded expectations. We most enjoyed the earthy salsa macha and the smooth, creamy salsa verde, but the tangy salsa Simon -- the truck's take on taco sauce -- was no slouch, either. Our bill totaled just over $30, and the meal felt reasonably priced and appropriately filling. While the tacos didn't knock my socks off, the aguachile certainly did -- I can't wait to return to try some of Simon's other varieties.
