They have excellent steaks, shrimps, lobster baked potato potato today. I kept the light and I just made a salad and a piece of bread. The service was excellent. The prices were fantastic. The service was awesome. The ambience was awesome Everything was fantastic. I highly recommend this sizzler. Excellent staff excellent leadership and excellent food.

I want to be completely honest, Ashley is the star of this Show. She has the best attitude right when you walk in and she is very menu knowledgeable, Positive, and outgoing EVERY single time I've been at this location. A smile like that in this industry goes a long ways, I truly believe she can be a very successful waitress in a fine dining restaurant. I would love to see her be promoted as a server here at this location! Oh yeahhh also the food is pretty cool! It's sizzler and brings you back to the old days. Promote Ashley tho.. it would truly be awesome to see!!

Wow this place was surprisingly good and tasty. All the veggies were so fresh and crisp. It was a wonderful all you can eat salad bar lunch for under $15 per person. Plenty of seating. I'm full satisfied. Good service and friendly staff.

In the Valley visiting family and suddenly I was like "I haven't had Sizzlers for a while." The closed all the Sizzlers in my area. We went to a different one but it was closed for maintenance and so we drove to Van Nuys. This one looked retro, but the food still hit. The salad bar is the best right now without Souplantation. It's still a great deal. I get an entree and then add the salad bar. Just get full off the salad bar and take my entree home. The staff were very nice and attentive. They say this one was in the hood, but I felt safe inside.

always good. steak very good flavor. Pretty clean the bar can't get a little messy but they keep up on it as a whole food does get replaced pretty quickly.

Having been to Sizzler's in a long time. But I'm glad I went back. I always get the same thing Malibu Chicken no ham and a baked potato. As always it was yummy. Also had a side salad which was good. But what truly it made the visit the best in a long time, was Elmer our waiter! He was so funny, kind and extremely helpful. He checked on us multiple times. Went out of his way to make sure that our iced teas were always filled. At one point we were just chatting with him and another regular client joined our conversation. Which is not something that you see very often, but was definitely appreciated. The location itself is a bit rundown, but is extremely clean.

I might be a bit biased here because I grew up eating at Sizzler regularly as a kid. My parents loved it and often took me and my brother. I especially enjoyed their early morning kids salad bar, which had cereal and lots of other breakfast treats. Now, as an adult, I appreciate the grown-up version of their salad bar. I love making my own salad and piling my plate with their wings, which I genuinely believe are some of the best, especially when paired with their BBQ sauce. It's just so good! I usually go back for another plate to make nachos and finish it all off with some ice cream, which you can even take home. It's a satisfying meal for me. That said, the price has definitely gone up over the years. I remember when the salad bar was just $6, but now it's almost $20. Inflation really sucks. This particular Sizzler location is nice the staff has always been friendly but it can be pretty dirty. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. The place can feel a bit grimy, and the bathrooms could use some work. Still, it's easy for me to overlook because I grew up with Sizzler and have so many fond memories. I guess I'm just a little biased! Haha

I think everyone starts their review off the same way... I used to go to sizzler when I was a kid... blah blah blah. Well I got news for you, this Sizzler has the goods. Late 80s early 90s ambiance - Clean, delicious salad bar with all the dressings Steak and shrimp that is well cooked , and portioned really well. Soft serve ice cream bar Taco bar Service that would put a 5 star restaurant in Beverly Hills to shame. That greasy garlic cheese bread!! Is unlimited All said and done, 5 out of 5. I would come back for sure... after a good workout and I'd bring my friends. Viva Sizzler!

I have no clue why this place has a 3.6 rating. I ordered my fav double Malibu chicken today and it was hot, fresh and very tasty. Extra free cheese toast too of course! Whenever I have to travel to the third world city of Los Angeles, Sizzler is always a go to spot!

2 1/2 minute read: There may be some out there who've never been to SIZZLER. I haven't met them. But I know this: SIZZLER, once you've eaten there- "I'LL BE BACK!" For years now, we've been to SIZZLER all over Southern California and consistency has been a norm. They do steaks perfectly. Every menu item gets appropriate attention from the cooks. As a restaurant, SIZZLERS has been successful but by no means are they perfect. Example: On my last visit, I craved a 14 oz RIBEYE steak but when my meal came, I noticed my steak was not RIBEYE. I was very disappointed but refrained complaining. The waitress did ask if there was anything else she could get us. I said, "No thank you" although my steak was wrong. We finished our dinner and enjoyed EVERYTHING, but I took my steak home, since I didn't eat it. I did taste a slice and it was perfect and very delicious. It it wasn't RIBEYE. The next day I called SIZZLER and spoke with the Manager, which btw, was the Cashier that took or. Dinner order last night- Leslie. Leslie listened to my story. Her bottom line conclusion was "You should have mentioned it to the waitress when that happened. I can't do anything about it now." I offered several solutions, She listened politely but stood her ground. Conclusion: Leslie did her job, followed set rules but failed to keep the Customer satisfied. SIZZLER's higher -ups need to improve their Managers bedside choices, to satisfy Customers. I have an AA DEGREE from Los Angeles City College. It's DIETETIC FOOD SERVICE MANAGEMENT and NUTRITION. My background in Directing & managing food service departments covers Healthcare & Restaurants, Cafeterias and Nutrition Counseling. I've worked at USC CLINICAL RESEARCH CENTER, LONG BEACH MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER, BROTMAN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, SANTA MONICA MEDICAL CENTER, and more. Am I BRAGGING?! NO & YES. Sizzler's Manager insisted, "There's nothing I can do now!" I don't blame Leslie. The SIZZLER corporate above her, CAN do something. Will they?

This Sizzler has great customer service and the food is good. The atmosphere was nice with good lighting. The restaurant was clean inside and had a few televisions surrounding the walls to watch sports. This is the first sizzler I've ever been to that had televisions. I ordered the ribs and chicken/sauce on the side with a side of fried shrimp. Everything was tasty and flavored well.

California offered an immediate rush of light, space, and possibility. My memory is that when I turned my phone back on at LAX, my friend messaged to say he'd gotten us the hookup at Bestia. That dinner belongs to a chapter in which I spent considerable time in California and felt energized by the contrast with New York. My friend is highly discerning, with impeccable taste in food, design, and culture. He notices details most people miss, so when a place impresses him, I pay attention. From the moment I saw his message, I knew the reservation meant something. Even before we entered, Bestia's character was evident. Faded lettering crossed the corrugated metal facade, while brick walls and old loading doors preserved the warehouse's industrial history. Inside, enormous windows and garage doors brought light into a room shaped by glass, exposed ductwork, and warm amber pendants. When I fantasize about living in a loft, many of the attributes I picture are here, especially the incredible windows and connection to the street. Inside the restaurant, the dining room achieved a combination I rarely encounter. It had the table density and collective buzz of a great New York restaurant, but within a large, design-forward space closer in scale to something found in Chicago. New York creates energy through tight rooms, while Chicago excels at ambitious spaces with strong architectural identities. Bestia captured both advantages and made its considerable footprint feel alive and unified. We sat shoulder to shoulder at a pale stone counter facing the open kitchen. Golden era hip hop was playing, and A Tribe Called Quest still rings a very specific bell. I ordered the squid ink pasta, and it was exquisite, with enough depth and precision to command attention amid everything happening around us. We also spotted an unmistakably A-list celebrity, whom I will leave unnamed, making the night feel quintessentially Los Angeles. During that period, I often stayed at the Ace Hotel downtown, and the Arts District felt vibrant, raw, and full of possibility. The proximity to Skid Row could be deeply jarring, with severe hardship existing beside ambitious development and expensive restaurants. That contrast kept the neighborhood from feeling like a neat story of urban renewal, even as Bestia seemed to anchor its evolution. The warehouses and loading docks gave the area a character that no new development could convincingly recreate. Nearby, I also remember the American Apparel complex during its demise and the rise of impossibly cool Los Angeles designer John Elliott. His Escobar sweatpants and Villain hoodie helped define the kit of that moment; loyalists will understand. Los Angeles is a fickle city, drawn toward whatever is new and shiny, which makes Bestia's longevity especially impressive. Scene without substance is plastic, and Bestia earned its electricity through exceptional cooking, assured service, and a remarkable space; if I lived in Los Angeles, this would be one of the places I'd rely on whenever I wanted to impress someone. This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in the world.
