Ribeye w/white cheddar mashed potatoes & green beans. Delivered by Uber eats
    Mandie Z.

I've only ordered here 2 times both times have been through Uber eats & both times I've ordered the ribeye medium rare w/white cheddar mashed potatoes. The 1st time I ordered w/asparagus & the 2nd time (pictured) I ordered w/green beans. Both times the steaks were cooked to perfection. They were exactly how they should be but I did need to heat them a tad because they were delivered (my fault not theirs). The mashed potatoes are delicious that white cheddar is a nice touch. The asparagus was good. So the 2nd time tried the green beans. They were uneatable . I didn't care for them. These steaks are huge though each 1 was like 3 meals for me. I would highly recommend trying this place & one day if I can get over my anxiety of driving on that side of town I might try it in person. LOL

The tri-tip and ribs are pretty tasty. This is delivery only so I can't comment about service nor ambiance.

This is our go-to when we come back from trips. Nothing says home like a country kitchen…read more We often get the breakfast chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes or homefries and eggs. Most recently we opted for some pancakes . Overall the quantity you get for the price is good but the overall quality is not always consistent. The first time we came my husband had piping hot mashed potatoes while mine were almost cold on one side. The next time we came the fries were no longer home fries but just your regular frozen variety. The time after that, one of the chicken fried steaks was a little gummy at the bottom, probably from an uneven fry. This is not to say everything else is bad, they just seem to have an inconsistent cook. Pancakes are good though. Service is typically okay, just like anywhere it depends on your server. If you happen to be seated in a... non assigned area... you may not get the most attentive service and flagging down a different server will just have to do. The restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of seating. They also serve pies, giant cookies, and brownies. I do recommend really looking at the pies since the servers don't always know what's in the fridge, so when they say "thats a lemon pie' you may end up with a Buttermilk slice like we did. The brownies are also... not good... so I really don't recommend them. They don't really taste like anything... Overall an okay country kitchen, not overly bad but also not the best. They could use some tweaks and better quality control.

They say that hunger is the most powerful spice, but I'm inclined to say I'd feel pretty much the same way if I wasn't overwhelmed by gas station fare. We ordered: Crab cake Steak salad Grilled broccolini Grilled veg Mac n cheese A good fiber upgrade for 2 people on the road. The vegetables were treated with as much care as the protein, and that's impressive. I ordered the guava gimlet, a simple drink but surprisingly easy to mess up (trust me, I've ordered many a gimlet) PERFECT. Balanced, great texture, and the fresh juices behind the bar are evident. Oh and the namesake whiskey cake? Just say yes.

They had a few rooms you could reserve for a private party. They offer a brunch menu until 3pm but you can also order off their dinner menu if you so choose. Since this was our first visit we had a difficult time deciding what to have. Our waiter was very accommodating & didn't make any of us feel rushed. For our extremely picky eater the kitchen made adjustments to make sure he had an enjoyable meal. After we made our selections, I feel like our food arrived in a very timely fashion & everyone was very pleased with their selections. Their mustard seed ketchup was interesting to see but very tasty. Even our picky eater thought it was good not that he strayed from the regular ketchup! The only thing we didn't try was their whisky cake because we were too full from our meals. My wife thinks this means we should go back just for appetizers & dessert. Which of course we will plan on soon. All in all it more than deserves 5 stars. And I wish we had taken photos but we were enjoying being with the kids too much to bring our phones out. Definitely put this location on your radar, I don't think you'll be disappointed at all!

Okay y'all... let me just say this LOUD for the people in the back…read more Philly Dave's is IT. We had the original Philly cheesesteak with sweet potato fries and I'm still thinking about it. Hot, fresh, packed with flavor... the kind of food that makes you pause mid-bite like "hold on... this is GOOD good." And can we talk about the owner?! So attentive and genuinely kind. We remember him from his "shack" days, and seeing him now just makes it even better. You can tell he really cares about what he's serving. Safe to say... this is officially our go-to spot for a Philly. No question. No competition. Run, don't walk... and thank me later!

They offer cheese whiz or provolone, check 2. Is it good? Check 3. This is a solid Philly and it can be customized any way you want. They don't skimp on meat or condiments, I think they are served fairly. The steak fries are great too. Never tried their burger, but it looks good and lots of people opt for it over the Philly when I've been there. As for breakfast, I'd say its just ok. Similar to a diner, you won't be disappointed and you won't be dazzled either. It was served quickly and priced fairly. No complaints here. As for the employees, I love the old guy. He can be edgy, but it doesn't bother me. I could see where some people may not get his humor, but I'd prefer someone with character over bland or dismissive any day.
