I LOVE this place. The bread is actual sour unlike a lot of "sourdough" bread you find at sandwich shops. The pastrami was pretty good but I could use a little more spice to it. Honestly, you ha e to really screw up with whatever you put on that bread to make it any less than delicious. I also suggest you grabbing a chocolate chip or lemon cookie. They are so soft....yummmm. I came here on a Thursday afternoon after dropping my car off at the Toyota Service Center. Walked in to be greeted by the employees and was helped right away. I told them I didn't know what I wanted because I've never been there and the employee taking my order was very helpful. He told me how to read the menu and order and ensured me I would love the food. I ordered the 8 inch pastrami with clam chowder and a drink. After I filled up my cup, I headed to the restroom to wash my hands and as soon as I come out my food was ready! Quick service and very pleasing to the eyes too (it helps when the food looks good!) They forgot to give me the clam chowder but when I mentioned it they apologized, upgraded my soup size and gave me bread on the side too! Great customer service and very prompt. The difference between good places and great ones are the way they handle their mistakes. The pastrami sandwich was hot and toasted well, had melted cheese on a good amount of meat and was very delicious! I'm not regularly a fan of sourdough but the bread was really good too. The clam chowder was hot and came in a styrofoam cup to keep it hot. It had a good amount of clam meat in there (which is always awesome) and the potatoes were cooked well too. No complaints on the food at all. The restaurant is very clean, employees very polite and they even decorated the place to give it a Halloween feel! I also have to note that the way the employees were interacting with each other gave a great vibe to the place, as though they were happy to be there and working. Honestly won't be returning ever. The rudest employee I have probably ever encountered. Looked bothered to even have customers coming in. Once my food was done I told her she has awful customer service and looks like she is being bothered with people coming in. While I was waiting all 4 customers to come in after me were treated incredibly rude. I asked her for her name as well as the manager and when another employee asked what was wrong she smirked and said I was complaining that she was being rude to the customers. The other girl working as well as the guy all appeared to hate their jobs. If you don't like helping the public you probably should work in a customer service role. This establishment in particular really cares about the quality of food they give and if your order isn't quite what you thought it would be they make it right. Super fresh produce, high quality meat and amazing bread. My personal favorite sandwich there is their hot pastrami with provolone. Don't forget to ask for extra pickle spears! Ordered online. 1 cup of soup. Went at the time I requested and waited 5 minutes to be acknowledged then I waited another 10 minutes before asking for the manager. She then yelled from where she was working asking what I needed. As I spoke my soup was handed to me and the manager yelled "we forgot to call for you". She assured me my soup would not be cold, it was. The manager did not apologize or anything. She would not even leave her station to talk to me. I will not be back and will be calling after work to ask about a refund. This is not the first time I had bad customer service or poor food quality. Finally tried this place! I like the decor and ambiance of this place and the friendly staff. I've been here a few times and have been getting the same Turkey and Salami Sandwich with House sauce and Swiss cheese. I like the sauce it's not too overpowering and the sourdough bread is fresh and crunchy on the outside. They have other bread options if you don't like sourdough. I didn't like the big chocolate chip cookies. They are too soft for me but if you like soft cookies then you might enjoy it. This is my go to spot for sandwiches now. read more

This place has potential to be great. The bread is delicious and you can see it come out of the oven piping hot. The set up of the place is slightly odd as you order from the counter on the right and pick up your food on the left. Despite having glass giving the impression you can watch as your sandwich is being made, you can't. It would have been nice as my boyfriend had a roast beef sandwich which was mistakenly turkey. Our sandwiches were to-go, so we didn't notice until we had already left the store. Double checked receipt and it correctly stated roast beef. The pickle spears are a nice addition, but the sign stating "pickle spear on request" is at the left side of the counter and our sandwich maker had to walk clear to the right side of the counter to grab them.
