An absolute hidden gem. Located in the corner of the plaza, a friend and I decided to check this place out. A very chill, no-frills sandwich shop with a wide menu and plenty of amazing options for eveyto choose from. Greeted by friendly staff, they offered us recommendations on some personal favorites, I decided to go for the turkey ham and cheese while my friend went for the French dip. Loaded with fresh ingredients and a perfect meat to bread ratio, the sandwich had surpassed my expectations. Same for the French dip, my buddy gave it a two thumbs up. One of the best French Dip sandwich's I've ever had! Trust me on this one... order a French Dip with provolone cheese and ask them to spread butter on both insides of the sourdough bread. It's not the healthiest sandwich, but if you love French Dips, you'll be in dipping heaven! This sandwich brings back memories of the old Dela Cruz Deli located near Brokaw Road in San Jose, (RIP). I've been ordering from Sourdough & Co. for my son's high school sports team, and they've been fantastic every single time. We get 15-20 sandwiches per order a couple of times a week for away games -- so it's a pretty big order -- and the kids are picky, with very specific requests. Despite the complexity, the team at Sourdough & Co. handles it like pros. They're incredibly organized, label everything clearly, and always have the full order ready right on time. What really stands out is their communication -- they ask smart questions, offer helpful suggestions, and genuinely care about getting everything right. The sandwiches are consistently delicious (the kids love them), and the cookies have become a team favorite. Everyone I've dealt with there has been friendly, responsive, and just great to work with. The quality of the food is much higher than the sandwich shops we used in previous years. If you haven't been yet, definitely check them out. They are in the old Starbucks location in the shopping center where Safeway is. And if you order through their app, you can earn points toward free sandwiches (which adds up faster than you'd think!). I work nearby and come here a few times a month. When they first opened I was extremely impressed by the quality, service, and menu items. Since then it has slowly declined. There's been a few occasions where they've given me the wrong take out order or forgotten parts of my order. They were nice enough to refund on these occasions. They also removed the only salad I enjoyed and made multiple changes to the chicken that they used on the salads. Additionally , the bread recently tastes stale and cold. In the past it would always come warm and fresh. The staff has also seemed extremely overwhelmed and wait times have increased. I hope this place can start to improve as I was excited to have a new lunch spot but lately it has felt like a waste of money. read more

This is a review of the MH location which recently opened so there could be some working out of the kinks going on. Overall the food was good and folks working were nice. Perhaps it was the time we went (lunch time) but the service was very slow both at the counter and wait time for sandwiches. The bread was warm and flavor good and there was a decent amount of meat on the sandwich comparable to Togos. Flatbread is very, very small, and dry and would not recommend. I'm not from this area, but I WILL make the drive to have a sandwich here at Sourdough & Co! If they were closer to me, I would definitely be a regular customer. The pastrami is my go-to and it does not disappoint. If you're a bread lover like me, you would absolutely enjoy the crunch of the bread and the chewy softness of the bread. I decided to check this place out one Saturday for lunch before taking my son to the park. We were greeted with great and friendly service at the front counter when taking our order. My wife and I both had pastrami sandwiches and the ingredients were incredibly fresh, which is refreshing compared to other sandwich chains.
