Tried the Szechuan chicken and burnt garlic noodles and they were absolutely delicious. Really fair prices too. Service was great and ambiance was charming.

Our go to Indo Chinese spot! This time around though, we tried their Punjabi cuisine. Ordered Prawn Koliwada, Chicken Malwani Curry, and some Rotis. Good food overall. Excellent service by Fedora and Rakesh helped us get a table on a rather busy Saturday evening even without reservations - thank you!

In a city full of Chinese restaurants and Indian restaurants, it's fun to find a rare place that does both. Love the take on Chinese food for Indian sensibilities. Anything paneer will win me over! Chinese Bhel: A unique take on those crispy Indian snacks, this time with Chinese noodles. The texture was a bit too shattering for my tastes, but I appreciated the uniqueness. Gobi Manchurian Dry: A big hit with the table. Kinda amazing that the lowly cauliflower could taste so good. Even better than chicken at some lesser Chinese joints. Paneer Schezwan: So I love Indo-Chinese paneer dishes and the taste here was really good. However, I probably should have gotten the dry version since it felt too soupy for my liking. Hakka Noodles w/ Chicken: Lots of noodles and chicken with some light Indian/Chinese fusion flavors. Solid, but kinda wish it had more spices in the mix.

Classic Indian place with a large variety. Very yummy. Wait staff was super chill and let us yap long after we were done eating.

We did not have a reservation for 3, entered 4:15 pm. Wanted a quick meal before a show. And golly we picked the best spot. We were seated immediately. The place quickly filled in after we were seated. A quiet little restaurant. Not a ton of seating. Families were in there with young children but it was not loud at all. The staff was VERY attentive, our waters were never empty. Multiple people came to check on us. The food was fantastic and came out very quickly. The drink options were very different from any we've ever had but were delicious! I would come here before every show from now on.

This place is wonderful! The staff were all friendly, and service was quick. We ordered samosas for an appetizer which were cooked to perfection. The sauces that come with them were so fresh! We ordered some mixed drinks and they were not light on the alcohol! I ordered shrimp moilee which is a coconut based curry with shrimp. I had never had it before, but it sounded really good. It had a light spiciness to it but blew my expectations out of the water! I highly recommend if you want great Indian cuisine near Times Square/Broadway. The only downside was the bathroom was not the cleanest... but it is NYC and it's possible management was unaware of whomever used the bathroom before I did. All in all, 5 stars and I highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I dined at Spice Symphony in Times Square and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. We started with the chicken lollipops, which were an absolute 10 out of 10. The exterior was perfectly crunchy, while the inside remained deliciously moist. The flavor burst when you start chewing, and the accompanying sauce elevated the dish even further. For drinks, I had the Taste of India, which was deliciously sweet and refreshing. My boyfriend tried the Konan Coast and found it to be on the sweeter side but well-balanced. However, he wasn't a fan of the black rock salt rim--definitely an acquired taste--but once he wiped it off, he really enjoyed the drink. For my entrée, I opted for the Lamb Rajeseani and Goat Laal Maas. Both dishes were fantastic. The goat, which had bone-in meat, had a deeper, more intense flavor profile, enhanced by a subtle grilled or charcoal taste. The lamb was also tender and flavorful, without any bones. The cheese naan was another highlight, though it had more cheese than I'm used to. It almost reminded me of a grilled cheese flatbread, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, Spice Symphony is a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Indian cuisine with a modern twist. The combination of flavors and textures in each dish makes it a memorable dining experience. they also mix in Chinese food as well.

NYC.....we're back! We had such an incredible dining experience for a late night snack. The Manager and/or owner sat us upon us entering, and he was so personable too. The menu had a variety of items and all of the things we selected were delectable. We were really pleased that we chose this restaurant, it was a great dining spot.

We were in NYC for a few days on our way to Europe. We stayed in midtown hotel. Spice symphony was down the street from our hotel and we decided to give it a try. Great bustling restaurant with warm and inviting ambiance. We got seated right away. We ordered a few entrees for 4 of us and shared all the entrees. Food was on spot with great taste and flavors. All was hot and sizzling fresh. Our server was also very good and patient with us. We will come back to this place again

Wow, this place was so good. I actually don't consider Indian food my favorite genre, but I have to rave about this place. To keep this brief - everything I ate was packed with delicious flavor. Shrimp for appetizer was incredibly delicious, the hot and sour soup to tackle the Chinese side of the menu was way better than expected, and the Sea Bass was plentiful and mouth-watering. And despite all the packed flavor and various strong spices, I did not have digestive problems afterwards. The ambiance was classy and service was great. I highly recommend this place if you're in Manhattan and in the mood for Indian/Chinese. I would definitely go back.

Wandering in and out of Time Square restaurants without a reservation on a Saturday night. No luck . We were ready to get slices to go when we stepped into Spice Symphony. The manager, Rakesh, promised at least two seats at the bar, but after a 15 minute wait he arranged for us to sit a table. His hospitality and generosity continued with two appetizers on the house; a tower of Bombay Bhel Puri and chili chicken dry. The tower featured crispy puffed rice, cilantro, mint, onions and tamarind chutney. A balance of spice, sweetness, crisp and crunch, this homage to beachside street food is an overlooked favorite. The Indo-Chinese chili chicken had a moderate level of spice. Sautéed with onions and green peppers and a background of soy sauce, this dish was a perfect appetizer. My wife enjoyed the chicken tikka masala, tender and moist and accompanied by a bowl of warm basmati rice. Rakesh recommended I order the goat rajasthani lal Maas, a tasty and smoky stewed goat in a creamy sauce similar to curry but with every Indian spice from the cupboard. Sweet saffron and ginger garlic paste rounded out the complex flavors. A real winner on the menu! The choice of garlic naan was perfect for the dishes, but really any naan would be just right. The meal was an experience that was highlighted by the generosity and kindness of Rakesh and the professionalism of the staff. Spice Symphony has other locations in Manhattan.

However, we never really got to it, having been busy exploring the Semmas and Bungalows of the city. On a cold Saturday evening my partner and I decided to give Indian Accent a shot - got rather last minute reservations over the phone. They were kind enough to accommodate us for a 7 pm slot, and once we got there we were seated immediately. We chose the four course menu, and found each course to be better than the one before! The shorba (soup) and garlic kulcha amuse bouche was a nice touch to get things started - loved the tiny terracotta mugs. Proceeded onto the shakarkandi chaat and the chilly pork roti - the former reminding me of the delectable street food in Delhi winters with the latter being a very good Indian rif on birria tacos. The star of the show for me was the Tofu medu vada - so unique and flavorful and melt in the mouth! I've not had anything quite like it before. My partner had the wagyu kebab that he said was excellent! For mains we had the chicken malai and the paneer - both tasty, but by this point we were already so full, and had to get most of the mains to go. But because there's always room for dessert, for our final course we scarfed down doda barfi with ice-cream and sticky toffee banana pudding - both of which were finger licking delish! Our service was great too - Ty our server was so nice and had the best recommendations. I'd have never gone for the tofu medu vada among all the other options and he urged me to, and it really turned out to be the highlight of my meal. The cocktails were good too. All in all, I think this is such a nice upscale Indian dining spot for a night out in the city. Having tried most of the other trending newer spots, i think Indian Accent sits right among the top! I'd highly recommend and cannot wait to be back!

So Annapurna Bhavan had my curiosity before I even walked in. The ambience was good. They don't take reservations, but we were seated as soon as we walked in. Sadly, the food didn't quite deliver. THE GOOD The dosas were well-made and honestly the highlight of the meal. Crispy, properly thin, no complaints there. THE NOT-SO-GOOD Ordered a Rose Milk. Got a rose lassi. These are two completely different things -- rose milk is a light, chilled milk drink; lassi is a yogurt-based beverage. Not a small mix-up if you know South Indian cuisine. The dahi vada was a letdown. It hadn't been soaked in yogurt nearly long enough -- the vadas were still firm, which defeats the whole purpose of the dish. Authentic dahi vada should be pillowy soft. A lot of the menu leans heavily Americanized. The oothappam topped with cheese and jalapeño is a prime example -- it's more Tex-Mex than Tamil Nadu. Fusion is fine, but don't call it traditional. BOTTOM LINE If you're in the neighborhood and craving something South Indian-adjacent, it's convenient and the dosas will do the job. But if you're someone who grew up eating this food and wants the real thing -- you'll probably leave a little disappointed. The location is great; the authenticity needs work.

The star of the show is Jaz herself -- the owner, hostess, and bartender all rolled into one wonderfully warm, charming British woman who somehow makes you feel like you've been a regular for years within thirty seconds of walking through the door. She's the kind of host who remembers how you like your chai and makes the whole room feel like her living room. Now, the food. The Chana Masala is deeply spiced, rich with tomato and chickpeas, the kind of dish that makes you question every mediocre version you've had before. The Saag is silky, fragrant, and genuinely soulful -- spinach that actually tastes like something. And the Onion Kulcha? Pillowy, caramelized, absolutely yummy -- the kind of bread you'll be tearing into long after you're full. The flavors here are the real thing -- bold, layered, and unapologetically authentic. This isn't watered-down, please-everyone Indian food. This is the genuine article, executed with care and a distinctly British-Indian sensibility that you rarely find outside of London. Every dish tastes like someone's nana's recipe, if that nana happened to be a brilliant chef. Do yourself a favor: add some spice to your life and get yourself to Jaz Indian Cuisine. Hell's Kitchen doesn't know how lucky it is.
