Good coffee, friendly staff and generally clean environment! Have been coming here for years

I just witnessed one of the nicest moments I've seen in as long as I can remember. The Barista (tall Caucasian man w/moustache) sorry I don't know his name - had a customer who was clearly on the Spectrum and thought he was entitled to a birthday drink when the Barista had to tell him that his birthday was a week ago. Instead of leaving it there, the Barista was sensitive to this kid and said, "Don't worry. I've got you," and made him a free drink. He made that kid's day... and mine too! Thank you! Before I met my bf I never really thought that people came to Starbucks and ACTUALLY studied. But apparently I was wrong. He spends more time here than he does at home...which inevitably means that I've been coming here a lot too. It has a great layout with lots of tables for people that do study/hang out here. And this location seems to draw a lot of different types of people. There are students, families, police officers, friendless people, crazy people and people with no musical talent that like to play outside. I mean this location is a real social hub. It would definitely be my hangout if I had no friends or no where else to go. As far as the service goes...it's always been great. I've ordered several different beverages here and they are always good...the typical Starbucks standard. I've grown quite fond of this place as I always find myself amused by who will be hanging around here. read more

10 PM. The place is full of customers with their laptops. Actually not just laptops. One actually brought his PC here! Well, I guess it is the perfect place to work for some people. The place itself is cozy and fun to be at. The sweet woman who made my coffee made it with a smile. The only problem is that there was no place to sit inside only outside. Very happy with this location :) PROS: - Great service... The man behind the counter, Bryan, was super friendly and kind. - Open till midnight which is a great perk for those who study/work late at night. - There are a lot of food/snack options to chose from. Most Starbucks have drinks, some pastries and a few wraps/sandwiches... This place has a whole lot more to offer. - They serve Bantam bagels! I was very excited when I saw this 'shark tank' show item available. CONS: - The store itself is pretty small, and there are not to many tables to sit/work at. Maybe a total of 5 tables and 2 high top bars that have 5chairs each. On the plus side there are ample plugs to charge your electronic devices near each work station. - Parking could get difficult at times, there is about 10 other stores in this plaza and it's a pretty small parking lot. read more

The staff is very well trained, smiling, professional and good mannered despite the fact that this place is always packed and busy. but they got the speed. they got the accuracy. and now they got me! First, the baristas are great and super friendly! They work quickly and are impressively well-organized during big rush periods. I know how hard it is so thank you for your hard work! Second, this is the MOST accessible store. Not even just Starbucks. Just any commercial location for like anything ever. The doors are automatic, which means I don't have to worry about hurting my wrists or shoulders, and if I'm using my wheelchair that day it's a relief. The aisles are wide, making it easy to navigate with a wheelchair or other mobility device. The large center table is also accessible; the higher counter with seating behind it is great for me to work at because it hurts to crane my neck. Best of all, the counter for ordering and mobile pickuo is low and easy to reach in a chair, and the right height to lean my cane against it. Overall perfect store. Starbucks please make all your stores this accessible! read more

The Starbucks is just okay. They only have four single seats that are like couches but they're not even the high-end leather ones. They also have counterspace and tables. It's very spacious but it seems very bare in terms of decoration and flair. I got a hot chocolate with whipped cream which was good. The store is not loud so that's nice, but overall not one of the more impressive Starbucks. read more

Unbelievable- Came in at 9am, and waited almost 10 MINUTES for a couple Americanos! The staff is SLOOOOOW. And the parking ALWAYS is a challenge. Even after an extensive remodel- SO NOT worth seeking out this location. Keep it MOVING! read more

This Starbuck's location is my neighborhood Starbuck's. I see many bad reviews and have to admit, I have never EVER had a bad experience at this location. Yes, the homeless do tend to hang out in front, but they are everywhere. Yes, you get quite a variety of people who got off the wrong boat when they left their country, but the staff in fabulous. They all know my name, (which in itself is a bit scary), the service is always quick. Of course if you stop in at 8am, you would expect to wait a bit longer, but what do you expect, we all need our caffeine fix on the way to work. read more

This is the worst Starbucks I've been to. I've lived in Sherman Oaks for a whole year now and this location has YET to get any faster or better with organization or speed. Turnover rate is terrible and they will literally have either 7 people behind the counter or 2 and there is no in between. Don't let the number of workers fool you though, still TERRIBLE SLOW service no matter the day. read more

I am a big Starbucks drinker... but I am very disappointed in the behavior and the beverages I received... I requested my drinks via mobile order.. I come in approximately 5 min after I placed the order... when I came into the store there wasn't a single person in line and my drink was not made yet. And the employees were drinking coffee and laughing extremely loud to the point that other people that were sitting at tables we giving weird looks.. So finally the employee asked what I needed and I said my mobile order... and she was like oh sorry the sticker machine isn't working... as she was taking my sticker out of the machine... finally got my drink... it was terrible so much syrup I couldn't even drink it... very disappointed... read more

I'm not super crazy about this Starbucks because for 1 it's super cold inside and there are a lot of homeless people who go there and sit for hours. The only thing that I like about the place is that they are open until 12am. Also the parking situation is really bad here. read more

I am the biggest Starbucks fan! I love just a standard cold brew with milk, or a frappacino, or a macciato. But have you ever seen the calories on these delicious drinks --- some of the best ones have over 400 calories, or more! that's why I gave them just 4 stars and not 5. I also really don't like how they charge for almond milk or soy milk. Recently, I am not eating dairy so this really bothers me to pay extra for soy or almond milk :( read more

Starbucks has been a great study spot for me lately. Came in here earlier today. Parking was easy to find in the lot, but beware you are only allowed parking for 2 hrs. The valet staff will find you if you pass the 2 hr mark and tell you to move your car. Otherwise, great service and my pumpkin spice latte was perfectly made! Visited today at 3:30, the service was awful and my drink (chocolate mocha frappuccino) was poorly made. We ordered, there was two patrons before us and none behind, we walked to the side and waited. During our wait, multiple patrons showed up, ordered and received their drinks prior to mine being made. How is that possible? Management has clearly made a mistake hiring and retaining these two lethargic females. read more

Very slow with the drinks. Understand it's a very busy location but the staff could do a lot to speed things up. As I waited 4 people couldn't figure out where to order because nobody was at the register. Rude customer service. The correct response when someone asks about their drink is "what's your name so I can check" not "I don't even know what your drink is" This place needs a lot of work. read more

This is a pretty small locale with a handful of tables outside and inside. There is a lot of foot traffic, as it's located on busy Ventura Blvd. The staff is friendly and efficient. parking - free lot beside the store. But beware that it is 1 hour of free parking only. There is an attendant who mans the parking area and checks this regularly. read more

if you're going here to enjoy a good book or work it's not worth it, it felt like I was sitting in a freezer. After asking them to ease up on the AC it felt like nothing was done about it. Of all the Starbucks locations in the Valley, this one is the worst. It is disgusting. For some reason, the scum of the Earth congregate here en masse, smoking cigarettes and cat calling at me. Or, they are fat disgusting street walkers who have wandered down from Sepulveda and Burbank after their nightly stroll, in which case they are giving me the stink eye. Just to make things even better, the parking lot is an absolute disaster all of the time. I've actually been forced to take off my coat and leave it at the dry cleaners in the same strip mall so that I'm not cheating by using one of of their two 15 minute spots. Honestly, I can't tell you if they've ever gotten my order right because I'm so annoyed the minute I walk in the door that I can't remember what it's like inside. Good quick service with courtesy & smile. The parking is no hassle but it can get packed at times. Seating situation is bad because people likes to stay there all day. The coolest part about this Starbucks is their complimentary wireless charging pad. Good for any phone/portable device model. Food is fresh and well made. Oy. Being a HUGE Starbucks patron, I was definitely not impressed. Despite the interesting decor (brick wall, fancy mirror, etc), the crowds leave little to be desired. I sat outside while waiting for a friend and some random guy was standing outside cursing an imaginary enemy (or maybe he was just still fuming over someone who had stood him up there). "F*ing jerks, I hate her," he kept repeating. Creeeeeepy. No one bothered to ask him to leave. After my friend showed up and we migrated inside for drinks, the same guy accosted us saying, "do you have any spare change?" We said no and he replied with "F*ing people coming in the middle of my love life. Why would you want to kill someone's chances at love?" Still no interference from the workers or security. Meanwhile, I was sitting in my regular Starbucks the other day and they kicked someone out who smelled bad, but had done nothing more. I'd say where were they in our time of need? I don't think I'll be going back to this 'Bucks...... I guess you could say it was their lack of pride for their property that will discourage me from visiting in the future. read more

Not the best place to stop and get coffee if you're in a rush. The parking lot there is horrific. You get stuck no matter what direction you go in. Avoid it at all costs unless you have at least 10-15 minutes to kill on coffee. I was almost late to a meeting thanks to my coffee addiction! Haha. 1/19/21 about 12:05pm. MISPLACED TICKET ORDER. Ordered ahead thru the App to save time. Waited in the car for 5mins before going inside the store. Glanced at the Mobile Pick Up area and there was no drink in sight at all. After 5 minutes and people came & went, I headed to the older guy (he's kinda rude) at the register and told him I have been waiting for my drink. He asked for my name, talked to the white girl barista and said they are behind on the orders (no apology). Fine. Waited another 5 mins and more customers come & go. Decided to ask the guy preparing the orders and he asked for my name and said they don't have a ticket for me. He asked for my receipt, showed it to him, asked the two other girls, and suddenly found my order ticket. The African-American girl made my order right away and I could hear her apologize softly while I was already heading out the door. I didn't bother looking back anymore (sorry) because I was already frustrated and running late for work. Pls keep checking on your orders and make sure they have your ticket. read more

Wow i love coming to this Starbucks!!! the Staff is so nice and always seems happy! They treat their customers like family and even if you are unhappy with your drink they are more than happy to make something that is perfect for you! I love when Talia takes my orders, she is always so welcoming and brightens up my morning on the way to work! They do get busy but its worth the wait when you have customer service like this. read more

Just walked in for a Dirty Chai. For me, establishments that have happy, pleasant and joyous employees receive an A in my books. I just went here on Monday and I asked for a Americano with five Splendas half and half and vanilla powder; a line with four people took about ten minutes (from line to delivery); some red head barista opened a register and she said I could get the vanilla powder myself; I joked that it was too spoiled of me to ask; she asked me if I wanted my receipt ( I said no, big mistake) I watched the girl prep my Americano, and she was putting five raw sugars for me and she put no half and half. I got in the car and the coffee tasted awful (never happened before) and it looked water down. Anyway, I was late to work and I chucked the $3 dollar and change coffee (not worth more time to even get a refund) I'm not a coffee addict, but I appreciate one every once in a while. I'm done with this place... all because of a passive aggressive girl at Starbucks. *update: I checked my account this weekend and noticed this girl charged me $6.50 for my coffee. She was smart. She asked me if I wanted my receipt, and, like always, I said no. The vibe I got from her was hostile and since my coffee had been prepared incorrectly I remembered to check it this weekend. I called the store today, Saturday, to complain and the shift supervisor didn't even apologize. She asked me why I waited so long to ask for a refund. I told her I wasn't really concerned about the money as I was the experience. She said if I come in now she'll make sure I get served "coffee the right way." She asked me again why I had waited so long to complain. I could tell by her phone demeanor that I was wasting my time so I just called corporate to complain. read more
