If I'm being completely honest, I will always give a restaurant a second try but I won't be back after this first visit. My husband and I decided to go impromptu while we were in Disney Springs. The wait was average, about 10 minutes. We got sat and pretty much felt like we were forgot about. Let me start with the drink, my husband got a sweet tea but it was actually a salt tea. We ordered egg rolls as an appetizer. The table who sat AFTER us received their apps and meals before we even got our egg rolls. We were going to get steaks but then decided to go with the happy hour items because we were a little thrown off. The steak frites were pathetic to be honest. A few thin pieces of steak on a slightly better version of a Burger King fry. We didn't even touch the steak tar-tar. The wagyu taco was, not it. The people next to us (same waiter) got their steaks before their appetizers and were upset about it, too. Fantastic dinner on a Saturday night. Disney goers often know to get the best restaurants you need to make reservations well in advance. I'm constantly wary of restaurants that have tons of openings open, like STK. However, with my youngest son (who is 3) recently loving steak and not seeing a better option less than a week out, I decided to try this place. It is beautiful inside. Dark with modern touches. They don't have a kids menu, so they do cater more towards adults, but we had a 3 and 6 year old and I saw other tables with children. There are definitely more adults here than your normal Disney restaurant. And people were dressed up, but being Disney I didn't feel out of place in casual clothes. The sourdough pull apart bread they bring is delicious. It has blue cheese butter and it is so good. We also started with a Caesar salad which was big, so definitely to share with at least one person. I got their award winning spiced watermelon drink, which was fantastic, and I also tried their espresso martini which was pretty good. My husband didn't like the old fashioned, so this is my reminder to him to try something else. Then for our main we got a 10 oz ribeye (which was the biggest they had), truffle fries and their market vegetables. The truffle fries were so good and it's a large amount. I thought the steak was just ok, but my husband raved about it. The market vegetables were good so I'd get it again. This was the perfect amount of food for us. They are very good at making sure your water glass never goes empty. I think there's a guy just walking around filling glasses. They do take annual passholder discount, which is nice. I also ordered the fried calamari and that was pretty good, but nothing out of this world. Was hoping that it would come with red sauce but it's fine. When I rate restaurants I look at three things 1. Food 2. Service 3. Price to be good a restaurant needs a minimum two of the three criteria and STK only has one service. The food was not good and was very overpriced. When a steakhouse can not cook a steak to the proper temperature it is an immediate failure. I was at a business meeting and both filets were ordered medium rare to medium and they both came out well literally no pink on either piece. We had dinner last night. Meal was probably the worst we have had on property at a nice restaurant. We have had a good experience here in the past. It started when we arrived 20 minutes early and half the seats were empty and they made us "have a seat on the wall" and wait five minutes to check in. The drinks were horrible at the upstairs bar, the espresso martini was like chocolate water and the old fashion was watered down. Syrup was old. Steak was supposed to be a ribeye and they brought a filet out stating it was a ribeye. Way overcooked. Salad as good and well presented as was the bread service. The loaded potato special was a hit. I'm really not that person who complains but I felt like my experience was a little frustrating with the STK host. The only reason why they're getting a 3 stars is because the happy hour menu is actually amazing for it being on Disney property. On weekends they offer it from 3-6pm (I think that's the right time but I could be wrong) and the menu options are $3, $6 and $9 food items plus $9 cocktails. Which is really not a bad price! Again if you know Disney then you know. But what really made me a little sad was the fact that I couldn't sit inside with my stroller. Mind you my baby is only 4 months old and can't sit in a high chair so dining out is a little tough for my husband and I. The hostess said we couldn't bring in the stroller because it's a fire hazard. Which is a little weird to say considering you're on Disney property but ok. She offered us outside seating which was fine but it was also freezing outside. I told her we can sit there if you can guarantee we can sit by a heater. After I made that suggestion, she said the heaters weren't working and someone is getting propane. Ok so not only are we not allowed in with a stroller but you're suggesting outside seating in freezing weather with a 4 month old with no heaters working. I mean where's the consideration? So I left. I ended up going somewhere else to meet some friends but then my friends wanted to try the happy hour too. We waited a bit and walked around to see if the weather would change. Once the weather warmed up my group friends ended up heading back and we sat outside. If it wasn't for my friends I would've never came back. And even after everything I still don't think I'll be returning. But the food was pretty good. We ordered calamari, pop corn chicken, tater tots, and short rib quesadillas. Went here to end our long Disney weekend. Ended up with horrible service, undercooked steak, and a waiter that argued with us. We waited over an hour for our food and watched multiple tables seated way after us get served. Our waiter never came to refill our waters, and when the raw food was sent back he finally showed up and asked how everything was. I also love their side dishes, I can eat it alone and be completely satisfied. This particular location gets crowded frequently however we were able to find same day resos. I went with my coworkers and we were able to reserve seating, this place was SOO popular and surprisingly had a lot of kids also there! The appetizers were DELICIOUS. The steak was very rich and topped with umami butter. We expected the mushrooms or brussel sprouts to balance that out, but the mushrooms were also rich and the brussel sprouts were sweet. The meal got tiring to eat because of the heaviness. Our servers were nice and helpful. Two people in my party got their steaks cooked incorrectly and they fixed that. I normally don't like restaurants like this because I hate paying for just a week and the side separate, so I came here with a friend to try out the other things on the menu during the happy hour to say that I got a chance at trying them. So I ordered the meatball (which was delicious), the quesadilla (average), calamari (excellent) . However, I must say that the best thing on the menu was truly the tots. They were delicious, soft, creamy had I had to have two orders of it because one order (which comes in 3's) just wasn't enough. The drinks were great as well, towards the end the waitress, Gia, gave us some shots on the house. So it was a great overall experience. One of the most dismal dining experiences I've ever experienced. First & foremost- It's criminal to charge premium prices while blowing guests around with oscillating industrial sized fans perched in every corner (not to mention the added chaos over an already thumping club music track). According to the reviews the A/C has been an ongoing problem for months, STK needs to figure it out. We were looking forward to STK, made early 5:45 reservations before our Cirque du Soleil showtime, planning to take advantage of some happy hour menu options. Not sure if the happy hour price point marshed our severs mellow or what ("Wil" according to my receipt, he never introduced himself- in fact muttered 3-4 sentences the entire meal) but I've literally encountered warmer customer service at the DMV. He greeted our table with "any food allergies?", I thought surely he was just the server assistant because of how short he was but after approaching the table asking "ready to order?" I only then realized he was in fact the server. I've spent over 20 years in hospitality, including 6 at a similar high end steak house concept & I was floored at his table side manner. We witnessed the server beside us enthusiastically greet the family that sat after us, welcoming them to STK, asking if they'd joined them before- y'know- the standard greeting any server with a iota of decorum would offer. The only shred of warmth Wil mustered was when thrusting the tip option in my face at the end of the meal after swiping my credit card. The majority of the meal was an abomination. You could instantly smell pungent fish odor from the lobster Mac & cheese- the fishiness permeating through the pasta, it was absolutely disgusting. How two small lumps of lobster could ruin a dish I haven't the foggiest idea. We suffered through 1/3 of the dish before waving the white flag, proper protocol being when a guest clearly hasn't eaten a dish is to inquire if they'd not enjoyed but Wil couldn't be bothered. The wagyu burger ordered medium was well done, totally dry & flavorless. The sesame bun was dry & turned to dust along with the burger meat, I removed the bun in a feeble attempt to eat the meat- the burger missing the special sauce that it desperately needed. The side never came- not that our server noticed. My husband's filet ordered well done (I know, I know- it's a work in progress but we all know how the well done crew rolls) was medium-rare borderline rare in the center. I stared enviously over the mound of dried out wagyu burger & sesame bun dust on my plate. At this point I'm not even sure why bother asking meat temps- the guy on grill should probably pick up a DMV application along with Wil. In all fairness the wagyu meatballs were great, the signature Spiced Watermelon & Dragons Flare excellent, a great happy hour value. Unfortunately with this being our first impression of STK we'll never go back or recommend. Happy hour patrons or not, any customer willing to spend their dollars at an establishment should receive the same service & easily could have resulted in us coming back tonight for a proper meal while in Disney Springs. We love coming to STK especially during their Happy Hour! This location is at Disney Springs behind Planet Hollywood, in front of Pizza Ponte. The layout of the restaurant is very modern & chic with different designs in each section of the restaurant and a touch of fuchsia lighting throughout and increased outdoor seating post pandemic. Their bar is very well stocked with various wine & high end liquor options. During their Happy Hour they have a $3,$6,$9 small bites menu as well as drink specials. Their $3 menu consists of oyster, tater tots (love them), and Falafel & Chili Tahini. Their $6 menu has lil burgers & truffle fries (love the portion) , wagyu meatballs (good sometimes a bit under seasoned but juicy), short rib quesadilla (still have to try), and vodka cured salmon & salmon stiletto. From the $9 menu the A5 Wagyu Taco is alright, calamari is good, but the popcorn chicken is my favorite. Service is always great and they are located a short walking distance from the parking garage. They sometimes have live music and right down the path there is more entertainment for after lunch/dinner. Also CM & Annual Pass holders get a discount too! read more

I was standing in front of STK and it looked really nice and spacious (and well air conditioned) so I entered. I was not particularly hungry but they just started their happy hour menu so I thought I'd give it a shot. Fortunately for me, the food was good! I ordered multiple things off their happy hour menu - calamari, popcorn chicken, salmon cones, meatballs, burger (they lettuce wrapped it, at my request - thankful for them accomodating), and more! For someone who wasn't hungry, my eyes sure were. My food did take a little while to come out, but I didn't mind too much. Gia, my server, kept me updated on where my order was in the process - much appreciated! The popcorn chicken was my favorite - well seasoned and tender. All of the dishes we got were all very rich, which usually is a good thing, but there was nothing to pallet cleanse so it was overwhelming to eat everything. For my main dish, I got the porterhouse steak and added wagyu umami butter. I thought the porterhouse was the best tasting of the one's we shared in our party so I was happy with that order. Besides the food, the servers always checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. However, two of my party's steaks were very undercooked but they did give us a complimentary mac and cheese while we waited for their steaks to be fixed. read more

As for the food, we ordered calamari as an appetizer and it was ok, nothing to write home about. For dinner we ordered the prime rib, mashed potatoes, and the crispy Brussels sprouts. The mashed potatoes were hands down the best part of our entire meal. The crispy Brussels sprouts were good but the sweet finish was a little too sweet for me. The prime rib was cooked well but it lacked in flavor. There are are no salt and pepper shakers at the table so the possibility to add some seasoning went out the window. This type of restaurant is supposed to be an experience, but with the loud music it felt more like a sports bar than anything else as it lacked the classy ambiance the restaurant should have. Lastly, on my way out I went to bathroom and as I was washing my hands, a waiter came out of the stall and walked right out, with me following closely behind towards the stairwell. Maybe he's going to use hand sanitizer I thought. Nope! He didn't wash his hands, no sanitizer, nothing. He walked over and picked up a meal and proceeded to serve a guest. At that point I just wanted to leave and I will admit that I should've asked for the manager and reported it but in my frustration of the night it completely escaped me. I was expecting more from a higher end steakhouse. I visited other locations and had an amazing experience. Visited on Valentine's Day, and the staff from arrival was very annoyed at even being there. She rolled her eyes as she seated us, sat us at a table with dirty glasses, and even had a piece of shaved glass on our plate. In addition we ordered a steak that was medium rare and it came out more like medium well, didn't have the wine that was listed on the menu, and just overall experience was terrible.
