I had such high hopes for this place! Food is delicious however the drink prices are high; for a product that already has the highest profit, you'd think they'd keep the prices fair and capitalize on customers that have easy access off the I-5. I don't know their rent, may be high considering the awesome spot. The negative experience I've had here three times out of five is the service. They basically work in a perfect environment, smile and at least fake it that you are happy to see me/us! It's a shame that there's attitude here or no sense of gratitude :-( read more

Absolutely love this sweet little gem of a spot in mission bay. Everytime we go it is so fun and delicious. We have tried the avocado toast, breakfast bagel sandwich, and many more yummy treats. We love the coffee and teas. The atmosphere is breathtaking. Parking is convenient. Super convenient if you are coming from north county or south to meet in the middle. Right off the freeway. Love to sit in the chairs and watch the bay. Also great location for a work meet up. read more

Stopped here for a 16oz tea after my run. Was $4.50 plus tip and was 90% ice. Literally less than three sips and it was gone. I asked them to refill and showed them how much ice was left in the cup and they said nope - "that's just how much ice we put in there". read more

Ambiance is nice and there are plenty of tables for seating however the our coffee was not very good. I had a cortado while my girlfriend had a vanilla latte, our milk was not steamed well and i did not care for the taste of the espresso. I cannot speak to the tea or brewed coffee. read more

Did a 10k at mission bay today. Walked an additional .7 miles to this wonderful new establishment for some coffee. I couldn't decide so I got both the aloha and the snickerdoodle. They were both fantastic! But even better was the amazing "breakfast toast". The best avocado toast I have had. It had a egg, everything bagel seasoning, avocado and wonderful toast! The line was long when we got there, but especially long after the yoga class let out (free on Thursday and Sundays). read more

Hands down my favorite spot in SD. And it's more than just coffee - from coffee/croissant or panini to wine flight and charcuterie board everything here is always delicious. The outdoor ambiance captures all that San Diego embodies. You can lounge in a giant reclined chair overlooking the sparkling water, share a table with friends amongst the grapevines or set up your lap top and snag a couch for an outdoor meeting. I come here when I feel I just need a moment. A moment to remember the beautiful place I live and release the stresses of every day life. I ordered from this bakery because of rave reviews online. It took 2 months to ship to me and I could not get a response to emails as to when I would receive my order. When they did email, I wrote back immediately saying I would be out of town and to cancel and request a refund. I got no response so the bread was entirely molded when I returned. I still have not gotten any communication though their website said they have a 100% guarantee and refund. If you know you are not going out of town for months you might try it. read more

Great coffee, but it's a very hipster/trendy place on the bay so expect it to be a bit overpriced compared to your usual coffee place. Yelp says they close at 7:00pm, so I was a bit bummed when they turned me away claiming they actually close at 6:00pm. I gave it 4 stars because the last time I was there, I was underwhelmed by the avocado toast. I ordered a regular avo toast and it literally had only a few pieces of arugula on it. The location is great but once again, at 8:30 am, the sweet counter person had to say that they were out of Açaí bowls and when I asked for a bagel with cream cheese...."we're out of cream cheese, too". And, oh, the avocado toast booth doesn't start cooking until 9:00 am and sorry, you can't order one now and pick it up when they get started. Nope, you will need to get back in the long line of people waiting to order that you just left. (No, thanks!) I can forgive this one time and maybe twice but this has happened to me 3 times (and I've only been there 6 or 7 times). This manager needs to have more food on hand! Also, more employees could speed things along a bit. How about opening the Avocado Toast booth when the restaurant opens? read more

Nice atmosphere. Bathroom was relatively clean besides being out of paper towels and not having a hand blower as an alternative. I received a 16oz coffee with cream (not a non-dairy substitute). The coffee was just okay. Temperature could have been a little warmer. I paid $6.57 (with tax) for a mediocre cup of joe. I also was suckered into giving a $1 tip. I'm a local and will not be buying a cup of coffee from here anymore for that price. Whatever...I guess you pay for the setting and convenience.
