very cute old school style sushi restaurant. Best place to sit is at the bar. The sushi there is extremely well priced and so delicious, may be the best I've ever had. The service was also super great, they're always very attentive. Last time we got the toro, and it was amazing. Bummed they ran out today, but I can understand why. Normally I also don't like salmon but I really like their pink cadillac roll, which is ALL salmon. It's because the fish is so fresh and not fishy at all, and super soft. Small clean sushi shop. Chefs are very personable and will make anything you want. Servings are good size, but not all the fish tasted fresh. Two waitresses working but struggled to get to the few in the restaurant who wanted refills. And don't expect those waitresses to smile - I think they came from the Seinfeld soup deli. read more

Came across this restaurant by accident. The place is rather small and it seems to be packed all the time. Service was impeccable, food was decent but our outdoor dining experience wasn't the best. Seats were small and place felt too tight and too hot. A definite must try is their Hawaiian and dangerous rolls. My husband enjoyed the hot night roll but it was a bit too sweet for my liking. This is a cute lil hard to find spot that has very delicious sushi. The spider roll was HUGE, with the fried crab was just oozing out of the roll, I believe the price was right for the quality of the sushi. My friend and I ordered the following: -volcano roll ($6.99): avocado with salmon topped with baked crab -rainbow roll ($8.99): California roll with 5 kinds of fish + avocado outside -tornado roll ($7.99): deep fried spicy tuna, crab meat + avocado/ no rice -salmon ($3.50 for 2) -unagi ($4.80 for 2) -yellowtail ($3.99) I really liked everything I ate here - the nigiri tasted fresh and the rolls were exactly what I anticipated. Plus everything was super cheap. The downside is that the restaurant is a little on the dilapidated end. Service is great and I would totally come back. read more

Came here on a whim while waiting for my nail appointment. AMBIENCE We were sent directly outside where everyone was distanced far enough apart that it was ok to lower my mask. The waitresses also wore masks the entire time. FOOD I tried sushi for the first time and loved it! Typically I only eat the specialty rolls. Their salmon sushi was to die for. The salmon was sliced nice and thick and it's consistency like butter. It was so good that my friend and I ordered two rounds. We also got the hot night roll, really delicious and the tornado roll (I wouldn't get again because the tuna had a meat like consistency because it was fried) SERVICE We were greeted as soon as we arrived. Food came pretty quickly. It was apparent that 2 times our server forgot to submit an item that we had ordered so it came late We'll be back! read more

What a quaint little place! I felt an odd suspicion walking in, almost like they wouldn't have fresh fish. Minutes later, we had ordered our Calamari tempura, monster roll, spider roll, and maru special roll. I really appreciated how they had ginger available for self-serving on every table. It sure was convenient to munch away without worrying about having to flag a waiter down. The rolls and the calamari were out soon enough. As other yelpers mention, the food definitely leaves you satisfied. My favorite here was the spider roll (go figure, I'm a soft shell crab maniac), although the other rolls were pretty good too. This is one of the places that uses plenty of sauce, so I guess it's pretty difficult to make the roll taste bland. And for the solid portion size, it's easy to see that Sushi Town is highly competitive in pricing. Their rolls are on average $2-4 cheaper than comparable rolls, with no discernible difference. Sure, the location might be a little suspect, but if anything, it weeds out the crowds and leaves the spontaneous drop-in feasible. To be fair, I haven't tried their nigiri or sashimi so I guess I really can't rule out the possibility of non-fresh fish. But the basic ones in rolls definitely pass the smell test! read more
