I've been to Sweet Lakes twice and have left so happy and full each time. The biscuits have a nice crunch on the outside and are super soft and fluffy on the inside. Word to the wise: the place is called BISCUITS and LIMEADE - therefore, order an item with biscuits. And get a limeade! Don't be deceived by some of the other delicious-looking-dishes that have nothing to biscuits (chilaquiles, burgers, pancakes). Trust me!! The ambience is super clean and light- tables are spaced 6 feet apart and super inviting. Menus are online and you scan a QR code to access it. The raspberry limeade is to die for and the biscuits and gravy were delightful. (You can choose between mushroom or sausage gravy.) The entree I ordered is considered a "lighter" dish and that was perfect because I had to get a dessert. Had to. :D The strawberry tall cake is the same biscuit that's been rolled in sugar and baked- it had the most lovely crunch and I'd topped with whipped cream and strawberries (or in my special case... raspberries). Half of our table wasn't finished when the gal came with take out boxes and made me pay. I was still eating, and she stood there with her card reader in my d@mn face! Totally annoying; the waitress said "take your time" -- but her looming over us to pay spoke MUCH louder. :-/ This new trend of the waitress standing there staring at you, while you select the tip percentage, feels wrong. I'm all for a good, hard working waitress, but our waitress was assertive in a negative sense. She made me wish we'd just gotten take out, and avoided interacting with her altogether. Like, I'd prefer they'd call our number to grab our food and drinks -- I saw no reason for the waitress. The menu is virtual, she didn't provide us with water, or anything that made having a server absolutely necessary or meaningful. The tables are wobbly, tops look beat up. Decent facility, but cheap tables/chairs. Seems divey for spending $160, when tip was added. *My review is from a Saturday in June, apparently I forgot to tap "post review". This was our second time here and the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my egg was definitely served undercooked. Service was great though. We ordered the orange raspberry limeade, and the raspberry limeade. I feel like you can't go wrong with any of the limeades. For the mains we had the Hoss and the Basic B. My husbands egg was fine, mine definitely had undercooked egg white. The gravy on both are amazing. Our kids all ordered the pancake kids meal and liked it. We did order the loaded hashbrowns, they were ok. Overall I'm sure we will be back, next time I will just ask for a scrambled egg on my biscuit. read more

They use Yelp waitlist so you can leave if you want and will get a text when your table is ready! Very convenient. I came for breakfast and ordered the most popular item on the menu I was told - the Hoss. It was DELICIOUS. The biscuit was perfect and I loved the gravy it sat in. The chicken was perfect, loved the breading, and the entire meal overall was so delicious! I also ordered the raspberry orange lemonade which I would 100% recommend. Fun little find this morning! This was a good stop along our route to get home and the wait was relatively short. The breakfast menu is mostly biscuits in different presentations, as one would expect. The menu available was a little different from shown on yelp so we had to ask if the pancake plate was available, luckily it was. Kids shared that while I had the brunch sandwich and Hubs had the classic B. Brunch sandwich hit the spot! Light and fresh with a perfectly cooked fried egg! Next time I'll see if I can get it on a biscuit. Hubs liked the biscuit sandwich. For drinks we tried the s'mores hot chocolate, orange raspberry limeade and a blackberry limeade mimosa, all great! Hubs has been before for lunch and said the Nashville chicken sandwich is great as well. We'll come back again, maybe a different location next time to see how they compare. read more

Overall I just wasn't very impressed. I went with two friends and they enjoyed it more than me, so I think it's worth checking it out for yourself but I didn't really enjoy my food. I ordered their Sweet Lake Sliders and they were too cheesy and greasy for my taste. They did redeem themselves a bit with the Limeade salsa and chips, so good that I asked for a second helping of salsa. The dining room is so open and long that it was pretty noisy throughout our brunch and while the wait staff was good, they were a little disorganized. There were a few times that multiple waitstaff came by and asked us the same questions within minutes of each other. I really enjoyed the food we ordered here but there were three items I believe everyone should try: Raspberry Limeade, Hoss, and Bananas Bayou. I was blown away by the Raspberry Limeade. I did not expect it to be jam-packed with raspberries and raspberry puree. The hoss was also very good. The moisture of the gravy and fried chicken complimented the dry flaky biscuit. Update: we went for brunch Saturday with 7 of us. We had a much better experience. They were quick with our drink orders, and we didn't wait long for food. Everything was delicious! For the past 3 times, I have ordered their cob salad and my boyfriend ordered the hoss or their eggs Benedict along with their mimosa or limeade. I recommend their mint limeade-- super refreshing. We also love their red hot sauce if you're into a extremely spicy kick to your food & the biscuits are to die for! However, the last time we were there, a friend visiting from another state and I order the cubano. It is very melty & cheesy and packed with lots meat! Super good meal, except my friend found a metal bristle when taking a bite with his other half of his sandwich. Our friend was hesitant on notifying our waitress at first, but we encourage him to say something. We notified our waitress and she was able to fix the whole situation. we were extremely grateful with how the situation was handle. I had this place on my bookmarks for a long time and was so excited to finally be able to go! They aren't open for dinner so you have to make sure you time it right. If you're in the area for brunch it's the perfect place to stop! I ordered the Pokey Joe and it was for sure the right decision. You really can't go wrong with fresh biscuits, slaw, crispy onions a huge pile of pulled pork, cheese, and fresh limeade salsa! All of the flavors were on point and I left very full. My only complaint is that there were quite a few parts of the meat that were super fatty that I had to remove myself. I will also say I liked the salsa a lot more in this dish than just eating it with chips. Our waitress was very kind and helpful, but our food did take awhile to come out. Not a huge problem, but just something I noticed. I'd love to come back here and try one of their other menu items. So many things looked good to me! read more

I am pretty sure they serve Ibis coffee which is a Utah company. They also had all different coffee mugs which I think is so cool, it gives the place character. My husband and I split the breakfast sandwich with chicken and the breakfast pizza. For our side we split the loaded jalapeño hashbrowns. The food was great! It was plenty for both of us. The sandwich with the bacon and chicken and eggs was making my tummy happy . While we didn't try their lime aids they looked very good. The service was excellent. The prices were moderate. The Titanic has all the wonderful food like my southern grandmother used to make. Tender biscuits, juicy fried chicken, crispy bacon, sweet hot mustard and pickles. It's impossible to eat the Titanic the way it's presented. I had to deconstruct the sandwich. I tried to get a little bit of everything with each bite. I would order this again. When you look at the menu, you believe you're in for a special treat. The pictures look interesting and inviting. The service is pretty good, even when busy, although the wait can be long mid-morning on Saturdays. Many of their ingredients are sourced locally. I've tried several dishes here, and I'm sad to say that other than the biscuits, this place simply tries too hard at being edgy and hipster, but just doesn't quite have the execution down. The food is inconsistent and except for tidbits here and there of deliciousness, the bacon is tasty, you're just going to be let down- if not your first beverage or dish, the second for sure. To give you some examples- the breading had been overcooked on a chicken breast. The quinoa tasted gritty and bland. An egg ordered "over medium" was undercooked with runny whites. A limeaid is served with sugar on the rim of the glass... and all over it leaving your hand sticky every time you take a sip. The potato hash is somehow nuclear-level over-spiced. The biscuit bread pudding is so dense you can barely get your fork into it. "The Hoss" is so unwieldy you struggle to get a bite with all the flavors in it, so you just cut off chunks and deal with it. The kids scrambled eggs are overcooked, brown and rubbery. But the biscuits... the biscuits are awesome! Grab some out of the freezer to take with you on the way out! read more

Are you kidding me with this thing? It is basically all fruit mixed with their limeade and it is incredible. We wanted to share a plate and we ordered the "Hoss". This is one of their biscuits with a fried chicken breast, BACON, and cheese, all slathered in their awesome gravy, with a side of their signature crispy hash browns. It is a sight to behold. Melty, greasy and every bit as tasty as you would imagine it to be. The gravy was so good, we ordered an extra side of it to finish off the rest of the biscuit and hash browns. If you are in need of some carbo load and downright delicious food, I have to recommend this place. It IS a bit on the pricey side, but we always share so it wasn't an issue for us. It's awesome to see a great local brunch place like this succeed around here. The food is high quality, and the price reflects it. Expect to spend around $50 for two meals with limeades and tip. I was craving chiliquiles and was pretty happy with theirs after covering it in their two different made in-house hot sauces. I also had some of the bread pudding french toast and that was great. Limeades were really strong, so if you like limeade you will probably like theirs. The staff was also really friendly and they had the food out within 10 minutes. I feel so dissatisfied and disappointed by this experience. I ordered the garden hash as someone with strict dietary restrictions I was served a hash with bacon on it. I expressed to the waiter that I was served some thing I did not order and the solution they provided was to remove it off the check. This is just ridiculous because as a restaurant establishment cross contamination is a serious problem. They still made us pay for the appetizer which I found insane after serving us something we didn't order. I used to love this establishment but knowing that they do something like this makes me worried for others who have dietary restrictions.
