Tastea is always our go to for boba cravings! They have a wide variety of drinks to include matcha milk tea, avocado smoothies and their chicken is always on point! So thankful they have their online site and app for quick ordering during SIP as well! So I had to give it a four stars because although of course I love their refreshing teas but I really love their fresh watermelon drink. Sometimes I can't just drink those caffeine drinks due to my own health reasons and I need a caffeine free drink so it's perfect. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice. I'm usually here for their seasonal summer drinks (watermelon or cantaloupe) which is really good and refreshing. Since COVID, we've been ordering through their app for pick up. I needed to write a review since our last few experiences we had felt like it deserved 1 star (at best). Just earlier tonight, we ordered 2 drinks and a shrimp for pick up. Side note, their large shrimp is double the price of a regular and the portion is about the same as a regular. Quite disappointing to find that out. Anyways, my husband went to go pick it up and the girl at the counter gave him his 2 drinks, but said they would make the shrimp and will call his name when it was ready. He waited outside in 40 degree weather for 20+ mins and checked on his shrimp 2 times. Both times, they said they will let him know when it's done so he continued waiting. Finally, he came into the store again after realizing that they weren't even that busy but the wait was abnormally long.. he spoke with a guy this time who just told him "sorry, we're NOT making your shrimp cuz kitchen had been closed already." ....... Say whaaaaaat? Why was there such a miscommunication with their staff? Our order went through on the app before the kitchen had closed and they had every opportunity to tell him if it was indeed a mistake instead of having him wait for nothing. On top of that, the guy (we found out later is the manager) said he would refund the money back to the app, but we haven't even seen any refund at all. I felt they could have done A LOT more for his trouble. A refund was the bare minimum and we didn't even get that. By the time, my husband got home, our drinks were watered down and we both had a really bad taste in our mouth from their lack of customer service. The teas are either a hit or miss. Most of the time with My boyfriend they are a miss. Even to me when I taste the things on the menu they are gross. I ordered the peach tea, and the green mango bits were gross, then he ordered the almond milk tea which was also gross. It tastes like medicinal. Also, we ordered today karate chicken and it was soggy but the shrimps were good. I would recommend drinking taro and Thai green tea everything else was crap. read more

I was very impressed by how fast they prepared drinks even though the line was pretty long. I bought the matcha Thai tea but substituted the milk with almond milk for lactose reasons and added some honey boba in the mix and now I'm hooked!! This mix has me craving for it that the next time I went I bought a large size. Glad this place opened up closer to the house so I can enjoy coming here more often to get my fix. read more

I've been going to Tastea for quite some time now, and my drinks didn't taste good. I came in the store the other day and ordered four Watermelon Heaven. Once I got my drinks I came home to give it to my family, some drinks were very bland and didn't tasted sweet. Two of my Watermelon Heaven just tasted like ice and water and wasn't blended well. I was very disappointed for spending almost $20 for basically water and ice blended. I will not be coming to this location ever again. read more

I've been to the tastea on Aborn and Berryessa. Let's just say this location is really stingy on their popcorn chicken. It filled almost half of the container. The other 2 locations gives a good amount of food for what you pay for. The staff was really sweet and friendly. I would just come here for drinks. ( ask for less ice ) read more

I am a die hard Tastea fan and both Evergreen and Berryessa locations are always super consistent. Decided to stop by here after dinner and get the usual but the boba at this location tasted like soap for some reason :( We had to throw the whole drink away because we usually only go to Tastea for the boba so we know it was a very rare experience (but our fault for not trying the drink before leaving.) The staff is friendly and the store's hours are unmatched, staying open till 11 pm. Love their drinks and the boba (which is green and always fresh!). My favorite is a classic taro milk tea with pearls. Unless you have a sweet tooth, I'd recommend not getting full sweetness. It's the same price either way. The only complaint from me is that their little dino characters, which are adorable, (you'll see the depictions of them on the back wall) are a bit sexist (only the female has eyelashes, is pink, and so on). read more

I was so happy and excited when I saw that there was going to be a Tastea closer to me! I came here a few times last week and got a couple of things. I got the Strawberry Sensation, the Cantaloupe Crush, the Matcha Thai Milk Tea and the Peach Me Sweetea. The wait time wasn't that long to receive my drinks but I feel like the quality of the drink wasn't as good as the other Tastea locations. For the smoothies I feel they added way too much ice and the tea flavor for Peach Me Sweetea and Matcha Thai Milk Tea was barely there. I want to come back to try a couple more drinks to see if they are all like that but giving this place 3 stars for now. read more

I made an order online for two drinks and fries. My sister went to go pick it up and the counter person doctored only two drinks for my order. When my sister arrived home, I asked about the fries and she there wasn't any. She then had to drive back and ask for the fries, took 15 minutes to wait for the fries. She then came home again and the fries were cold and stale like they've been out for a while. I understand that's my sister should of known about the fries originally but for the employee to not even reiterate the complete order and just say "2 drinks right", wasted my sisters time. read more
