This is a fairly new restaurant which started last September in 2023. It has a nice modern Taiwanese decor and the seating is spacious that makes up feel comfortable during this Covid era. We order the seafood lobster (the larger) hot pot with rice which is enough for two people. The lobster, shrimps and other seafood are very fresh. We certainly will visit this place again. Meantime, we do have some suggestions: 1. An extra plate to keep the shells of the seafoods. 2. Additional plate for keeping hot pot food from mixing with the rice. 3. The soup is a bit too salty. In our opinion, no salt or any seasoning are needed for this type of hot pot since there are soy sauce, satay sauce and soy garlic sauce right on the table. read more

New spot saw it while I was driving down reseda thought I should try it out with my friend since we were feeling adventurous. We were sat quickly and the food arrived shortly after ordering. We both got the kimchi dumpling hot pot he added corn and a coke for me just water no add ons. I got medium spicy and it was decently spicy but didn't leave me sweating. All the meats were good and there was a large variety of veggies. The light they have of the panda is quite sterile and too bright it hurt my eyes. read more

Food was good I got the taiwanese supreme and it was very satisfying until I found a huge amount of sand coming from the clams. They also only gave me one piece of all the inclusions for the dish. They gave the tiniest piece of enoki mushroom, one rice cake, one tofu skin, etc. The service was really slow and the waitresses didn't really seem like they knew the place but to be fair they just opened so it wasn't that bad. If you get the rose matcha milk tea get it 50% sweet or 75% because it tasted like straight up sugar and syrup. I would just say that the clams were a huge turn off and so was the service, the waitresses just felt really awkward too. Also the ordering system is inconvenient as well because they make you order off of a QR code so the waitresses don't really come by when you have questions about the menu and the QR didn't even work for me so I had to order through the waitress. Tip for the restaurant- to clean clams you have to run them under cold water so they can spit out the sand. read more

The service here is absolutely horrible! The place was pretty empty, and we were waiting for a booth. While we were waiting two other people came in and also asked for a booth, and they were sat before us! We pointed it out to the host, who apologized but didn't do anything to rectify the situation. We were told we would get free green tea, which never arrived. Both of us asked to omit certain items from our bowls and both of us were served dishes including the items we had specifically asked not to have. This was our first experience at this restaurant and we intend to return. They have one vegan option which was tasty and my partner ordered the beef soup which he stated was delicious. The large servings and bowls are continuously kept hot which is a nice feature. Once we received our meals no one ever came to check on us and we really needed extra napkins. Also, they played an hour straight of Spanish songs and then an odd mix of other songs which really didn't fit the cuisine. Overall, I recommend this restaurant. read more

Just went here, food was good but the service was bad. Nobody visited our table for 30 minutes, I had gotten up to ask the front register for a to go box but as soon as I left a waiter saw me leave and asked my friend if she needed anything. Which made me getting up pointless and we required other things during our visit but had to just go without because nobody came by. I also don't understand asking for a tip when ordering at the table is a QR code? I also went to the bathroom here and it was disgusting, there was presumably urine on the floor in front of the handicap stall toilet and trash cans knocked over. When we walked in it was freezing inside, we were hoping to escape the cold day with a warm hot pot inside but it was just as cold. Popcorn chicken was really good though, I'd recommend that over any other side here. read more

Finally, a hot pot restaurant in the valley! I was so excited to try this place out since it is so close to me. Looking at their menu, it gave me boiling point vibes (which is one of my favorite hot pot places to go to). They even have a QR code for you to scan the menu, similar to the boiling point in Pasadena. My husband and I ordered two of the beef orders and spicy popcorn chicken. When the popcorn chicken came, we waited around before asking someone to bring us utensils and waters. This is when I shouldve known the service would be mediocre, but the evening was still early so I let it go. When our cups of water was delivered, the young lady must have been new/inexperienced because she dropped them on the floor in front of us. Luckily it didn't get in my sleeping baby. She never came back with the water, so we had to ask someone else. When our beef bowls came, along with a plate of vermicelli noodles, he dropped the plate of noodles. I watched it in slow motion as it slid onto the table in front of me. He apologized multiple times. We noticed that the majority of the employees were really young, so perhaps that contributed to the lack of great quality service. In addition to the clumsiness, when I asked for my soup base, I asked for it to be filled to the top. The woman kept giving me a little bit at a time, I had to tell her 3 times to keep going: "fill it to the TOP". Not quite sure what is so hard to understand about that request. We dined for 30-40 minutes. Never once was followed up. The meal was okay. The popcorn chicken was yummy though definitely not spicy (and I have a low tolerance for spice). I noticed that other tables that had left was not quickly cleaned. It was starting to pick up in traffic as we dined. Multiple tables open, but a crowd gathered, waited to be seated. The way the employees interacted with one another-- you could tell there was no efficiency, no teamwork, no sense of taking care of their customers. The experience left a bad impression. Hopefully in a few months the staff will serve better otherwise I'll stick to my usual hot spots outside or the SFV. read more

I ordered the beef pot TO GO and I was given a packet of DRIED (yes...dried/crunchy/uncooked) RAMEN NOODLES and the instructions weren't even in English. And after I reluctantly cooked them in the microwave, they were terrible...thin and spindly and flavorless! GEEZ LOUISE. WTF??!!! Who does that??! And the pot was filled with all kinds of meat-like things that were unrecognizeable...maybe some of it was liver?? It was DISGUSTING. I've never written a bad review for a restaurant...but I was so upset that I paid $22 + tip for a bowl of cook-it-yourself-AWFUL ramen with liver-like meat. My family and I love hot pot and we usually go once a week to have it. When I found out this place opened nearby, I wanting to try it but I am so disappointed. I never really write reviews, but it was so bad that I wanted others to think twice before going. The decor was nice I will give them that. But when the server came with styrofoam cups that's when it all started to go bad. What decent restaurant uses styrofoam cups? Even my child made a comment and said this doesn't seem like a place we will be coming back to. Then the food came. It didn't look like it did in the pictures. There was not much ingredients in the bowl and there was very little soup. When I took my first bite, it tasted as if it was burnt. I thought it was my imagination and moved my food around and continued to try to eat. When I moved my chopsticks and it touched the bottom of the bowl, I could feel that the food was burnt on the bottom. When I told the server, she went to get the manager to see what she could do. The manager came and explained that it was because there wasn't enough soup and I should've asked for more soup. I told him that was how I first received my food with very little soup to begin with. He only offered to bring me more soup, but what was the point when my food and every thing in there tasted burnt. I still can't get the burnt taste out of my mouth. I paid the bill ($70) and left hungry. I will never be going back to this place again. I will be going back to the hot pot place on Nordoff like I do every week. Customers beware. This place is a waste of money. read more
