This joint has been the buzz for a long time now serving authentic Hong Kong style dishes, with locations in Monterey park, Rosemead and San Gabriel, interestingly it seems like each stores menu and quality are drastically different, and this location definitely is the best. The most recently opened Delicious Food Corner and the closest one to me distance-wise! Had a good first time experience here with the food so this may be my go to DFC spot. Okay, so service can be a little better (took a while to get the attention of anyone to take our order and get drink refills), but I get it, they're still relative new and we were sat in a spot that's not easy to see (I assume). BF and I ordered the staples: * minced pork and egg with rice, non-spicy ($15.95) * Macau style pork chop sandwich ($12.50) * HK style pineapple bun with butter ($6.95) * steamed shrimp flour roll ($8.95) * Macau baked Portuguese egg tarts ($7.50) * iced milk tea and HK coffee ($2.50) * hot milk tea and HK coffee ($2.50) Everything was good and we thought it was the best we had at a Delicious Food Corner location. We were super surprised that the shrimp flour roll was still available when we ordered it at 2 pm and it tasted freshly made! Most other spots would be out of stock by 1 pm or earlier! Note that one of the sauces on your table is the sweet soy sauce you'll use for the shrimp flour roll. We are so used to the roll being served with the sauce already poured on the roll that we had to ask them about the sauce. So you can use as much as you want for the flour roll and for whatever other dish! The egg tarts came piping hot, as you can literally see the steam as you bite into it. And BF always reminds me that DFC's milk tea and HK coffee combo is the superior one that other cafes have yet to replicate. Okay, the only downside is that BF thought the pork chop sandwich was a little fatty than lean, and because it was fried, it wasn't as easy to tell and separate the fat. Otherwise, we had a great experience at Arcadia Delicious Food Corner! I also like how the parking lot is a little bigger than the other locations we've been to in SGV. We ordered the Beef Chow Fun, Singapore Style Vermicelli, HK Style Short Ribs with Crispy Garlic, Yeung Chow Fried Rice, Pork Shiu Mai, Sticky Rice Wrapped Chicken, Shrimp & Chives Dumpling and the HK Lemon Tea. I was surprised that this restaurant serves dim sum.. The service is not good because we were seated inside the room. It's challenging to catch their attention and to receive service. This might be my new favorite dim sum place! Service: It recently opened and is really close to me. I came here on a Saturday morning, didn't have to wait at all and was immediately seated. Staff was attentive and took our order really soon. Food came out quickly too. Food: authentic, amazing, and just delicious. I had gone to another delicious food corner before, it was not disappointed. and this one is recommended by my mother-in-law who knows good Chinese restaurants in San Gabriel Valley area, so I was very excited about this place. We got 6 dim sum dishes: Bean curd skin rolls in supreme broth, Steamed flour roll with donuts, Radish cake , Steamed chicken feet with brown sauce, Quail egg shiu mai. One regular dish: Ying yang fried rice. One dessert is Mala cake. It's very good quality, reasonable price, and legit Chinese food. This is a brand new restaurant on Baldwin next door to a KFC. The decorations and interior are quite modest, sort of like a dining hall. However, the food is good and filling, with rather large portions. I believe this is a chain, with another one located in San Gabriel. Being new, the restaurant was rather crowded, so I did take out and brought our lunch home. There is another section near the entrance that was not being used, but I think it may be for large parties. As for parking, it seems fairly plentiful, allowing for everyone to park and dine. Emotional Damage, Fuyor... doesn't feel good being ripped off... Came here for dinner with family. One of the dishes we ordered was lobster, it was recommended by the server. Server said Lobsters are sold at a discounted price $78, one lobster weights 3.5 lbs. Seems like a great price. No, no, no... when the Lobster came, it only had half of a claw and all the meaty pieces from a $3.5 lbs Lobster were missing. We asked a server, "what happened to the Claws?" First server answered, "oh, this Lobster must have lost the claw during a fight. " Sent another server over... the second server said, "we only buy one claw handicap Lobster , but this lobster is for sure more than 3.5 lbs." Come on, give me a better excuse... own up to it when you get caught... lobster was never shown to us before they cooked it. Don't give me this BS about only buy one claw lobsters... my dish only had a lobster finger alright... All there's left was the meat around the legs attached to the shell, a couple small pieces of the tail and half of a claw. It was a plate of left over small piece lobsters claimed to be a 3.5 lbs. It might be 3.5 lbs but I guarantee you it was not a complete whole 3.5 lbs lobster that you can piece all the pieces of the lobster together! It's a 3.5 lbs lobster dish that came from the left over pieces of multiple lobsters. This place is by far the most DISHONEST restaurant I have been to. Needless to say, I will NOT be coming back. But this place is LEGIT--if every Chinese restaurant were this good, I'd eat it all the time. The pan fried noodles were perfectly crispy and just enough sauce to not make it over soggy or salty. The bok choy was crisp, tender, and fresh. The filet mignon cubes were perfection as well. I also tried something new--they were crispy fried purple yam balls with sweetened egg yolk inside...I'm glad I didn't ask what they were bc I don't know if I'd have tried them if you told me what was in them but they were DELISH. The egg custard tarts had the most incredibly flaky crust--and my son who is an egg custart tart fiend and never met an egg custard tart he wouldn't eat, said "whoa, these are way better than Trader Joe's" bahahaa. For me, the highlight of the meal was the Peking Duck. One of my favorite dishes, this did not disappoint. The soft, sweet buns, with the succulent, savory duck contrasted with sweet, crackly skin, garnished with green onion--I was in Cantonese culinary heaven. Unexpectedly rude customer service. Saw the guy server there extremely rude picking up a fight with customer. Not even trying to de-escalate the situation instead continuing to argue. This is probably the 3rd or 4th location in the area that I have been to. It's located in the heart of downtown Arcadia. While there is a parking lot, parking is a bit limited. As per usual, there's always tons of people at DFC especially right before breakfast time is about to end. At this location, breakfast time ends at 11am as opposed to half an hour later at some other locations. We got here after 11am, and therefore only had the lunch menu options. For lunch menu, they also have a combo option where you can choose 2 dim sum items for $13.95. That's almost $7 per dim sum, that's a bit too expensive!! Inside the dining area, it also looks like in the future there may be options to order Chinese BBQ items. The dining area is also quite large, so the turnover should be fairly quick. Overall, it's a solid DFC option that's much closer to home. Menu options seems to be larger/wider, but for a higher price point. read more

A very busy restaurant this past weekend for their grand opening! I came around 3:30 but was told they are on lunch break. Not sure if this will be apart of their normal business operations. We returned later in the evening for dinner. It was somewhat difficult to get service. It took a good 10 minute to get someone to take our order. The dishes started to come out but we had no plates and bowls. We added a pork ribs dish and were told the kitchen was closed, but then they brought it out to our surprise. The only thing that was worth noting was the pineapple bread with butter. The bread was soft, and fresh, while the top was crispy and sweet, clashing yet complimenting the salty butter... delicious.
