This was a very cool experience! Reservations for our party of 8 were made a week in advance. I recommend doing the same, AND getting there an hour before your reservation so you have time to walk around and enjoy the various types of art on display at Area 15. The bbq sampler was a table favorite for sure! A little bit of everything for everyone. My personal favorite was the brisket. Smoked to perfection, smoke ring and all. The bbq chicken pizza was so good, we took the leftovers back with us and finished them at 2am drunkenly. Pizza is just as good cold as it was hot. Can confirm. The chopped salad was meh. It took some getting used to the giant chunks of cheese as well as the lemon in the dressing. I was expecting something different I guess and we ended up liking it in the end. As a local I am ashamed to admit this was my first time inside of Area15. We had so many different appetizers. Wings, Bang a bang shrimp, nachos, and ahi tuna tacos-every last one of them were fire! I had the Greek salad it was so big and delicious l. I think this place is perfect for groups! And it's a casual environment, so no need to dress up. The cocktails were really good! I had a strawberry mule which also had a basil leaf a balsamic drizzle-nice touch. Overall the service was really good, he handled all nine of us with ease! read more

We came here on a Sunday afternoon so no reservations were needed. However, reservations are recommended at night because this restaurant is located inside Area 15. First off, the chairs were way too small and uncomfortable. There were no booths, only bar/bench style seating. We were seated in front of the wood fire oven and could watch the cooks do their thing which was entertaining. I ordered the grilled salmon which did not come with any sides so I ordered a side of onion rings. The onion rings came out first as we were informed that each meal would come out separately as soon as they were ready. So, don't wait for everyone to get their food to start eating yours. The onion rings were on point, not a single onion slipped out of the batter when taking a bite. The salmon was flame grilled perfectly, although the chef did come out to tell me he cooked the salmon medium well instead of asking beforehand. He did offer to grill another one if I preferred different, but it was perfect. He also asked if I preferred the melted butter and honey on the side which I did appreciate and chose to do. I used just the grilled lemon which was the perfect balance. I tried the butter and honey, but did not enjoy the sweet flavor on the salmon. My husband ordered the brisket cheesesteak which came with a side of fries (choice of garlic, parm or truffle). This sandwich was the best cheesesteak I've ever tasted! I could taste the Smokey brisket first while the beer cheese, grilled onions and mushrooms added just a touch of extra flavor. He chose to get the hot peppers on the side which was a good choice because they were spicy and we noticed they were not de-seeded and had the leafy top still attached. Excellent restaurant inside Area 15. We found there was a nice selection on the menu to cover just about everyone's different tastes. I opted for the chicken pizza. Solid, but honestly a little heavy with the cheese so it flattened the flavor a bit. Great, crispy crust and a nice portion size. Don't let the cheese comment deter you, it was still good. Wife had the Tuna Tar Tar tacos and they were out of this world. Great presentation, a LOT of tuna, and perfectly assembled in a fried won-ton shell. These were a big hit. Little man tried to take down a 1/2 rack of ribs and a side of Mac and Cheese. Mac and Cheese was a big hit, the ribs were "okay." Ribs are hard and these were too smoky. I tend to find that when you've smoked and held them, then reheat in a smoker. Good flavor, cooked well, just a little too smoky. Table service was a little odd. We ordered together but food came out in stages. We all got to eat a different times which wasn't perfect, but the food was really good when it did arrive. read more

With such great food choices in the Vegas area, this one is lacking. We came hungry and had a variety of Apps and entrees. First, the Bavarian pretzel may just be one of the best I have had. That said we were super excited for the meal, which was bland. I had the crispy spicy chicken. I don't do mayo and this sandwich came bland and dry. No spice/flavor at all. Seriously you're counting on mayo to pull this up? Not a fan. We also ordered the Ancient Grain bowl and added Steak. They served this stone cold. Freezing cold. Disgusting guys. Here's the kicker, the food came out so fast we were still waiting for our Draft beers. (Which took over 15 min for a draft?) Our service was Not good, the food (outside of the pretzel) was meh, but speed of food service (separate from waitress) gets you an extra star. When visiting area 15 this is one of two options for sit down food. For being inside of what I would consider a "theme park"/ "entertainment center" it's pretty good. There's on chef who had some great energy welcoming in each group and really enjoying his job. As for the food it's pretty good quality for what this place is. We had a barbecue platter. The ribs were a real treat and so was the corn bread. I liked the brisket but it wasn't anything too special. The sliders were a total pass for me. Overall, not a bad choice but I wouldn't go out of your way to come to area 15 just for this. read more

Two weeks before I visited Area 15, I watched a vlog about The Beast and was especially excited to try the food. I was there on a Monday and the host let us know that service is much quicker if we sat at the bar, so off to the bar we went and was greeted immediately by the bartender - who was super nice and very attentive, I wish I had gotten his name. I tried the tuna tartare tacos, loaded fries and the vegan buffalo pizza (actually my husband's meal). The fries showed up first and I was surprised to see how much there was. Not only was it a large serving, but there was a lot of cheese, my fries were not dry. I didn't enjoy the loaded fries. I felt the melted cheese flavor did not go well with the pickled onions. I ended up eating the short rib separately from the fries, cheese, and scallions. I heard the taco shells are made fresh every morning and they were super crunchy and not too oily. The tuna itself was a little bland and the limes that accompanied the tacos, did nothing to enhance/brighten up the flavor. The pizza smelled great and wasn't too bad, but I thought the sweetness of the coconut buffalo sauce was too much for me. My husband enjoyed his pizza, so 1 out of 3 was a winner. Based on the looks of the vegan pizza, I'm curious enough to come back and try their other pizzas, if I'm ever at Area 15 again. read more

On Tuesday the 28th my boyfriend and I decided to stop in for lunch at the world renowned chef, and four-time James Beard Award winner's restaurant! I ordered the Octo Dog, Mozzarella Dog and an Iced Tea. The Octo Dog was a fun Korean corndog to eat, thanks to it's delicious tentacles to represent an octopus that tasted like sausage and nice crispy exterior drizzled with sauce! The Mozzarella Dog was the best Korean corndog I've ever had, with a huge delicious cheese pull! The Iced Tea was brewed perfectly and refreshing! PARKING: Lots of free parking in front. They have their own lot. We caught a taxi there and an Uber back to our hotel. They have designated drop off and pick up spots. SERVICE: We were greeted as we walked in and sat at a table right away. The host and our server were amazing. Our server also recommended great drink and menu items. I believe this is a true hidden gem! We went to Area 15 on Valentine's Day for something different and never expected one of the best dinners in Vegas! Every single part of the experience was top notch! We were seated immediately by a smiling host and told that our server would be right with us. She stepped right up with waters and answered all our drink questions, super friendly and very knowledgeable. When it came to ordering we were prepared to go with the regular menu but at the last minute went with the Valentine's Day special. Thank heavens we did, it was absolutely amazing! The roasted chicken was super seasoned and tender, the short rib and steak medallions melted in our mouth, the brussel sprouts were hands down best I've ever eaten and the lobster mac & cheese would win awards! We discovered The Beast on a previous visit to Area 15 and made reservations for our visit this time. We did have to wait in a long line on a Saturday night to enter the venue, but once inside it was easy to find the restaurant and we were quickly seated. The interior was dark but inviting. We enjoyed the wall murals, chandelier lights made of pipes, and the overall laid back feel. The service was a little slow to start and did go a little south but we did get what we needed. The appetizer, the tuna tacos, didn't arrive until after our dinner, but they were delicious. For dinner we both had the Sin City burger and it was excellent. A true recommendation! We did have a Hellfire Club to drink and overall we thought the restaurant was worth a return visit. read more

My expectations for this place were actually kind of low since I figured it was a restaurant in an entertainment complex, and those kind of places are usually mediocre at best. Well, this place far exceeded those expectations! We were seated right away around 6:00pm on a Thursday. The seating is a bit different and consists of a lot of high tables and chairs which fit the sort of industrial theme. They have a very extensive menu ranging from corn dogs to BBQ to spaghetti, so we decided to sample a few different things. Service was extremely good and very friendly and attentive. I opted for the mermaid cocktail since I'm a sucker for anything with champagne. Delicious! Light but still quite strong and with just a hint of carbonation from the champagne. The Korean corn dog was excellent! The coating was light and not greasy, and the hot dog itself was juicy and delicious. I didn't try the wings, as wings are not really my thing (a lot of work for minimal meat - lol), but the presentation was quite striking. The spaghetti and meatball was interesting. The meatball itself was delicious, and the sauce was quite good. The spaghetti itself was presented as kind of a single mass of spaghetti rather than individual strands and did not really look like traditional spaghetti. It tasted a bit heavy. Overall not bad put probably the low point of the entire meal. We also tried the "Bronx bomber" pizza which was kind of a flatbread pizza with pepperoni and bacon and some other toppings that I cannot quite remember. Excellent! Perfect crust, perfect toppings, perfect sauce to cheese ratio. Just excellent! Save room for dessert... The key lime flying saucer was amazing with a great presentation. Light and tart lime curd with an utterly delicious crunchy "pie crust" and an overall amazing appearance. The s'mores were quite good also. A bit burned, but definitely a decadent and sticky chocolatey gooey experience. Anyway, if you ever visit Area 15 you must give this restaurant a try. It really exceeded all expectations! read more

I have never heard of either The Beast or Todd English before... and surprisingly, I did not even plan on coming here & did no research beforehand. That's so unlike me. We had time to kill before our reservation at Meow Wolf/ Omega Mart in the Area 15 complex, so we decided it was time for a bite to eat and a hangover curing cocktail. The ambience is vibrant, but loud, and the bar stools lacked the little bit of comfort I was looking for to spend an hour and a half sitting in. The food was pretty nice, and definitely fit the bill for the space that you are in (Area 15). I ordered the veggie burger, which was good, but the sauce was *different*, and it was one of those things that I couldn't tell if I liked or not, or if I was just being a big, hungover, baby about it. It came served with a tall stack of homemade potato chips that went down a little bit easier. You might as well nickname me "Salty Potato" because I never turn one down. It was literally a spiralized, fried potato, but nice and crispy. My mom got an elote corn cob, that looked phenomenal, and an order of wings that came served on tall kabob skewers. I got a nice giggle or two or three out of the presentation, but it was pretty cool looking. Our bartender/ server was very nice and attentive. She poured a pretty nice Moscow Mule as well. Overall, I think I would stop here again if the experience presented itself. There were a few decent vegetarian options, and the venue is just SO unique. read more

So this was my backup plan a few weeks ago - I was thinking of having a relatively early lunch near the hotel, where I knew I could've had extremely good tacos, but I *also* saw Meow Wolf tickets were specifically timed, and the early afternoon slots were disappearing, so I took the no-stress option of making a reservation for right when this place opened, and a Meow Wolf reservation for an hour and change later. (Though funny enough, while initially I was worried when I got here about 15 minutes before they opened and there was a long line of people with clearly similar ideas, or who just hadn't planned ahead and seen that there was only one real restaurant inside Area15 currently, and it opens at noon... it turns out they know what they're doing in that department, everyone got seated basically immediately, and my food, drink, and check all came back so quickly, I was able to move my Meow Wolf reservation up half an hour - Meow Wolf, of course, being conveniently right next door.) Admittedly, I was also sitting right at the bar, always the best place to sit for the best service - but yeah, great bartender, great service for sure.. I wasn't super hungry (and making sure to leave plenty of room for the crazy elaborate dinner I had reservations for at Lost Spirits in the evening, the *real* reason I was at Area 15 that specific day), so I just had a Korean dog - they're $8, and if you were hungry, you probably wouldn't be after two of them, which by Vegas strip price, isn't bad, and by Area 15 price, well... you're a semi-captive audience. Anyway, not being super hungry, it worked out, $8 was a pretty good price for lunch (well, ignoring the $16 cocktail I also had to buy one of, haha.) You have a choice between a beef dog, a "mozzarella dog", or a "half and half" dog - the mozzarella dog is literally just a fried and battered stick of cheese, there's no meat in it, while the half and half dog is, exactly what it sounds like, half a beef dog, half a mozzarella dog. Clearly, since I just got one, I had to try the half and half dog - it's a pretty solid corn dog, with great crispy dough, and a great hot dog. The cheese bit was also pretty good, though personally I was sad they're not twisted together, there's a hot dog on the top, and a cheese stick on the bottom. (They also have something called an "octo dog" on the menu... which it turns out is just a regular hot dog, cut up fancy to look like a sea creature, for instagram or for kids, but otherwise, the same hot dog.) Anyway, their cocktails are all $16-$18, which by Long Beach standards, again, is a bit pricey unless it's something crazy elaborate, but by strip standards, unfortunately seems to be par for the course these days. They also have a relatively reasonably priced ($9-11) craft beer list, but their cocktail list was actually pretty cool, I was on vacation, and I'd gotten used to paying that much on the strip anyway, so I tried one. Sadly, they were out of the one of the ingredients for the cocktail that sounded the most interesting (the Hellfire Club, which it looks like is still on their menu, so it must have been a temporary shortage) - but the bartender recommended, if I was looking for something spicy, to try the Hydra. They also had no problem with me switching the tequila for mezcal - and it was a legitimately great drink (just not cheap). Mezcal, pineapple, fresh mango, and thai chilis in a drink... I suppose it's hard to go wrong with that combo, but yeah, definitely a good recommendation (also a great substitution) - fruity, smoky, proper balanced, and also, spicy as *frack*, exactly what I look for in a drink like that (the bartender did make sure I was aware that it's pretty spicy - yes, please!) Anyway, I can't necessarily ever see myself wanting to come back to Area 15 *specifically* for the food here, it was good but not incredible... but if I were back at Area 15 for Meow Wolf and/or Lost Spirits related activities, I could definitely see coming back here, for the convenience, probably sucking it up and trying another of their cocktails, as a bunch of them did look pretty interesting, and probably getting one of *each* of the corn dogs next time, so both flavors could be eaten at once without losing structural integrity. (This is mainly a note to myself, if I ever do end up back here :p. Though I *could* also see trying their bbq, the loaded potato sounds pretty good too.) read more

Solid menu and dish composition, accompanied by moderate (considering the location) prices make The Beast the superior option for eating before or after your trip to Omega Mart. Definitely go for the barbeque, but don't expect anything mind blowing. Of the dishes we sampled, the BBQ platter was the best. The coleslaw and potato salad made fine accompaniments to very good ribs and above-par brisket, and offset the disappointingly dry hot link plus conspicuously fatty pulled pork. The Alabama White was definitely the sauce of choice, though due to a misunderstanding by the waitress, I'm not sure whether we sampled the regular Memphis style bbq sauce or the hot Memphis style. The drinks were both overpriced and overkill, but that's to be expected of a tourist site in Vegas. The lack of any option for a regular-sized cocktail was a disappointment, however: "Go big or go home", the drinks menu screams. The Beast feels out of place in the LSD-inspired experience of Area 15, but that actually makes it a nice place to refresh and unwind for those finding themselves overstimulated. If the meats (or the prices) were just a bit better, I'd be raving about the beast. As it stands, this is a great choice if you're in the area, but certainly not a destination in itself. read more

The Beast by Todd English is located inside Area 15. Area 15 is off of the 15/Spring Mountain exit. There is spacious amount of parking. Area 15 can be considered an immersive playground. There is a wide variety of activities such as Axe Throwing, Meow Wolf's Omega Mart, Race on a Zip Line, or other exhibits such as their Arcade Bar and the most recent Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience. Todd English is a renowned chef. The Beast restaurant is considered a fresh take on a food hall in what is considered by Area 15, the belly of a dragon. Before you walk into the restaurant, there is a podium for reservations or walk-ins. We had arrived approximately 7:00 P.M on a Thursday evening after visiting Omega Mart. We did not have reservations, but there was a table available for two. The table had two wooden seats and was quite high. The team member was super friendly though! He constantly checked up on our table. He asked if we needed refills on our drinks consistently. After reviewing the menu, we decided to order the following Appetizers: Mac-n-Cheese Parmesan Fries Entrée: Cheeseburger (No tomatoes, lettuce, or sauce) The appetizers came out relatively quick. Approximately 10 minutes after the order. The Mac-N-Cheese is not a typical mac-n-cheese. It was heavily flavored with paprika. It was good, unique, and refreshing. The Parmesan Fries were scrumptious! It had a good amount of Parmesan cheese and parsley flavored on the French Fries. The French Fries were cooked perfectly, fried flawlessly. The cheeseburger however was slightly disappointing. The burger patties were burnt and the bun was charred. All I could taste was the burnt flavor. Next time, I'll try out their chicken wings instead! Overall the experience was good. It was slightly expensive, approximately $60.00 for the entire order. The customer service though was awesome! Walking up to the host stand, host was taking to a security guard. We waited, she walked us to a table and before we even sat down she was already gone. Server took about 15 minutes to help us. Placed our order, wrong food came out, finished our pizza, server came over informed them and correct food came out maybe 5 minutes later. Food had the incorrect side and believe our drinks sat empty for almost the entire dinner. Bidder looks at everyone, tables but didn't bus them. Food is decent and sad they got rid of the bbq. It's a fun spot to check out and hope service gets dialed in plus quality of food improves. Burger is so so, onion rings so so Mac n cheese is very good and Philly cheesesteak definitely do not recommend. read more

It should be made clear that there are several different menus that are only available on certain days and hours. We came on a Tuesday night, made a reservation on OpenTable for a birthday and I was under the impression that their menu (which had the option for steak) was available. It was not. When I had asked, it was because they deemed it a slow night so the menu was pulled. Obviously that is a choice and the establishment is free to do that as they wish but it would have been better if there was transparency beforehand, especially because I had expressed on the reservation the purpose for dining and what we expected (the steak). We order a pretzel and some tuna tacos (both were good options) but because expectations were set and then unmet, we had left. The vibes are very casual, bar food with classic helpings like burgers and fries (on par with the location), but it wasn't what we had expected and for that it was a letdown. Also, given that we had ordered just those two things, the bill had come to $40+ which feels exuberant for a pretzel and three tiny tuna tacos. read more

This restaurant is located inside Area 15. It's a good place to grab a quick bite or just even take a break. You don't need tickets to Area 15 to grab a bite here, but why not both? The staff is pretty good, and the décor sort of matches the vibe of the entire building. I enjoyed everything I ate there. The tuna tacos were great, I could eat 10 of them. My other favorite was the shareables, Pull-a-Part Pulled Pork Cheese Melt, a mouth full just like its name. They use a whole Kings Hawaiian Roll for this bad boy, and if you like pulled pork and if you like Hawaiian rolls, the aliens did well with this entrée. read more

We were at Omega Mart so we wanted dinner and decided to try this place out since it was also at Area 15. This place ended up being a really good place to our surprise. I typically assume restaurants in a venue like this are usually just cash grabs. But I was wrong. The inside is pretty divey and modern at the same time. The music gets fairly loud but it didn't bother me too much. We ordered 2 drinks, the Strawberry Basil Mule and the Fuzzy Unicorn. They were both pretty good but I liked the mule a lot better. We each got an entree and one appetizer to share. The service was impeccable. I don't think I even waited that long for anything I ordered. I got the fish and chips and my boyfriend got one of the burgers. I believe it's the spicy one. And we got the pulled pork nachos to share. The portions are huge in my opinion. The burger was good, I only took a bite. The fish and chips was amazing. Huge slab of fish, breaded perfectly, and they have malt vinegar! I rarely see places provide that with their fish and chips. Alright you guys!! I have sooooo much to say about this place! First off the ambiance is like a gothic pop art theme, which is odd and unusual just like the rest of the building! Alright -- so the food, we ordered so many different things and drinks from off the menu and not on the menu. And hands down everything was amazing. The only problem we had was the waitress disappearing for a good 10-15 minutes and we asked her for little sides and refills on drinks and we all waited until she came back because for some reason whenever we asked a different waitress for the items we were missing she didn't want to get them and instead walked around trying to find our waitress .... Like it woulda been a whole different situation if the waitress who wasn't ours just got us two refills and two side dipping sauces instead of trying to find our waitress who stepped out for a moment. read more

Love Todd English and can't wait for the new Olives to open at Virgin. In the mean time we figured we'd try this spot. We ordered a bunch of stuff off the menu and liked it all. Atmosphere- very fitting with area 15 It was very dark with cool candelabra style lights on the table. Sort of like eating dinner in a haunted house. We tried a bunch of stuff Korean corn dog- was really good and had a nice flavor Mozzarella dog- just like it sounds, almost a mozzarella stick in a bun. Was really good especially if you love cheese Amsterdam burger- was phenomenal and it came with a spiral cut potato on top. I didn't realize this when I ordered the fires but that's on me. Burger was cooked perfectly and was really tasty. Came with a pile of pastrami, which was why I got it, on top and I devoured it. Beef birria taco. We're good, standard tacos. Singapore street noodles. Just like you'd expect. We're really good and tasty Cauliflower wings- were good, not my thing but daughter liked them and they were crispy and well sauced Parmesan Fries- were good. This was the biggest culinary disappointment of our entire Vegas trip. The shrimp was way overcooked and chewy. The pretzel was decent, but it was all very overpriced. The ambiance was loud and the seating was uncomfortable. Drinks were good, but also gimmicky and overpriced. Our waiter seemed to have better things to do than check on us. This is a 3.5 rounded to 4. The service was good we had reservations. The food comes out as it's prepared so as long as people don't mind starting while others are waiting for food it's fine. The waiter was great. Now for the food: the ribs were delicious and to whomever said get the cornbread you are right it was tasty. The loaded fries were pretty good albeit a bit soggy. The kids burger was a miss and need more flavor and sauce it was overcooked and not good. The potato tornado was also over cooked and tasted like burned oil. read more

The Beast lived up to the hype for me. My husband and I enjoyed lunch here on Saturday before checking out Omega Mart. It's a fun atmosphere with something for everyone. They are currently not accepting reservations which is a little rough since they are the only restaurant in Area 15. Fortunately, we arrived at 12:30 and were lucky enough to get a table right away. We even got a fun table facing the kitchen so we were able to watch the behind the scenes action. The restaurant was already busy. The service was friendly from every employee here. From the hostess to our server to the food runners. Our waitress took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. Two parents out on a day date obviously had to start off with cocktails. My drink, The Mermaid had a mesmerizing blue color. It wasn't a bad drink, but I expected it to be a little sweeter based on the ingredients. My husband's Red Hydra Rum Runner was delicious. The Bronx Bomber pizza was shockingly good. We couldn't put our finger on why it was so good, but I think it was house-made crust and fresh ingredients. The pepperoni was tasty too. The Amsterdam Burger was one of those delicious burgers that hits the spot for a burger craving. The fresh pastrami, kraut, and Gruyere were the icing on the cake. I loved the ring of potatoes on the burger. They were nicely seasoned and crispy. Our side of Macaroni and Cheese had a great flavor and I loved the broiled top. All of these dishes sounded basic, but were even better than we expected. The S'mores' Coup de Grâce was a creative take on s'mores, but not the best s'mores dessert I've had. S'mores are my favorite so I've tried many. I loved the roasted marshmallows and the chocolate, but there was very little graham flavor. With more graham cookie this would be very good. The strawberry glass on the side was really fun. The Key Lime Flying Saucer had a fun presentation and my husband enjoyed it for the most part. It wasn't heavy on key lime flavor. The menu allows for people to enjoy a meal for as little or as much as they'd like. The menu ranges from corn dogs for as little as $6 to 36 ounce Tomahawks for $145. Located inside of Area 15.. this steampunk industrial theme restaurant must be experienced. I was greeted by the hostess and quickly seated at the bar .. friendly bartender had a drink in my hands in minutes, he told me everything on the menu was delicious. Quick glance at the menu .. wings, burgers, tomahawk steak, brisket, Korean corn dogs, pizza, ribs, octopus, tacos, pasta.. how does one decide.. I went with the Miso Glazed Salmon and coconut basmati rice & salad greens.. a beautiful plate of food arrived, the salmon was cooked perfectly, the rice was flavorful and the greens on top were lightly dressed. Inside Area15.... They definitely have a cool and unique way of serving their food. We ate at The Beast as we waited between activities inside Area15, and since the restaurant area had a 45 min wait we decided to eat in their lounge area which was first come first served. We got a table immediately and we ordered order food and drinks within a few minutes of seating. We ordered the Korean Corn Dog, the Calzone, and the Pastrami sandwhich. The corn dog had panko breading that gave it a nice crunch and pleasant texture. The calzone was uniquely long and slender. The dough was thin and perfectly baked, and the marinara was a good blend of spices. The pastrami sandwich included slaw that gave it a mix of texture in each bite. The environment is cool and trendy, the service was good, and the prices were really good considering it was inside a Vegas attraction. read more
