We were seated in about 20mins. Which wasn't bad since we came on a Friday, and they were busy. The restaurant did really well with following the 6ft apart guidelines and the wearing of masks. We were seated right in front of the cooking area. Which I enjoyed, because I get entertained by watching the cooks cook the food lol. Our waiter was awesome. With all his recommendations and his service. For our drinks we got The Mermaid, The Banshee, and Smokey The Beast. We definitely enjoyed them. For our entree my husband got their smoked beef short ribs with coleslaw and Mac n cheese for his sides, and I got their lobster roll that came with their Parmesan fries. We enjoyed our meals. The meat on the short ribs came right off the bone. Had tons of flavor with a hint of smokiness. Super tender and juicy, and that cornbread that comes with it was TO DIE FOR!! This place, The Beast, is located inside Area 15. Very busy place, which I understand as it is one of the only few restaurants inside. We waited about an hour to get a table, they said it would be a 45 minute wait and they would text us when the table is ready. 45 min. later we haven't received a text so we went back to the hostess stand and they said "Oh your table is ready but the text wasn't going through, just about 10 more minutes we'll have your table ready, we just ran out of utensils." My friends and I LOL'd at this. 10/15 minutes later we were seated. Order taken prrtty quick, food came pretty quick, too. Inside Area 15, this place was able to handle a party of 11 with a reservation made earlier, but they did squeeze us all into a table that's more comfortably sitting 8 or 9. There wasn't enough table space for drinks and all the plates. Food was ok bar food selection of burgers, pizza, fries, nachos, sandwiches. My french dip was good, plenty of meat. Sandwiches don't come with any fries, so that's extra. We tried a large portion of the appetizers as well. It's good bar food, it's convenient after you finished walking through Omega Mart, but I wouldn't seek this place out for dining when there are so many other options in Vegas. read more

We enjoyed our meal at The Beast! We ordered the brisket, Brussels sprouts, white pizza, and hibachi bowl. The best dishes were the Brussels sprouts and hibachi bowl. It's not that the brisket and pizza weren't good, but they were not the stars. The pizza had a thin crust, which I appreciated. We'd been to Area 15 before and walked by the restaurant, and both said, "We should try this place out," because the menu looked good and it was always busy. We are happy we did! I made a reservation, but it was not needed for the time we went (12 pm on a Sunday). Our server was attentive and kind and made it clear that the food would come out as it was ready; for example, the Brussels came out first, then the brisket, followed by the Hibachi bowl, and then the pizza. There weren't significant gaps in the different dishes coming to the table, but I know some people can be particular about that. My husband checked in with the hostess around 2:30pm to see if there was availability for 9 people (4 adults, 5 children) and was told it was a 45 minute wait. The restaurant looked completely empty but he said okay and gave the receptionist his number 3 times and verified it. Came back and she said that she texted him about the table being ready and the number bounced so they gave it away. He was told we had to be put on the waitlist again (the restaurant still looked empty and we now have 5 very hungry children) and it will be another 30 minute wait. We gave her another number and she got it wrong the first time when entering it. Horrible customer service. Not friendly or helpful at all. Disappointed to see the decline in quality at this once-great spot. I visited a couple nights ago and was surprised to find that more than half the original menu is gone. no more barbecue meats, wings, appetizers, or many of the standout items that made this place special. They're now only serving burgers and pizza in a small section of the restaurant, which feels like a big step down. The same friendly staff is still there, which is a plus, but part of the magic used to be watching the cooks barbecue right behind the glass now half that setup is just sitting unused. I was really looking forward to coming here because of the cauliflower wings, but was so disappointed. I understand they're fried, but they were swimming in oil. They just said to keep coming back every 5-10mins and see if they could take us... There is first come first serve seating in the canopy thing, but when we finally got a table it took 10mins to get waters, and they didn't even bring enough for the table, so after 10mins only half had water. We were going to just go somewhere else but on the way out decided to try the restaurant one more time and got a table. Our server was great, I wish I had gotten her name. The food came out quickly but honestly wasn't life changing. It was okay/good, nothing was bad but nothing was great either. -The Mermaid drink was incredibly sweet. -The pb&J wings were good. -The pineapple fried rice was okay. -The Korean corn dogs we ordered twice and each time we got the wrong one. but they were tasty. -spare rib - was tasty but very fatty. - Mac and cheese was good -cotton candy cheese cake was tasty -s'mores was tasty Also, the tables have these screwed in lighting fixtures that make sharing food really hard, and depending on where you are sitting you can't see the people on the other side of the table. When I ate here, there was a long wait for dinner, so we decided to try to find a table in the open seating area. I reallllly hate this style of dining, because I feel like I'm constantly hovering over other groups waiting for someone to leave; it's uncomfortable for both parties. I wish they would get rid of the open seating and use those tables as regular service. The restaurant has such an interesting vibe, with lots of pretty colors and mesmerizing music constantly playing. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Ciabatta sandwich and it was good, but nothing special. For $17 it was pretty small, and I didn't like the arugula salad at all, I wish it came with a different side. I also tried the Beast Pasta, and again it was decent, but really not anything amazing. To me, the pasta and sauce both tasted just like from the box/can. For dessert I tried the S'mores' Coup de Grâce. I definitely would not recommend this, it tasted like it was made at least a few days prior and was so tough and burnt, and was very unpleasant to eat. It definitely wasn't fresh because the marshmallows were hard... This probably should be taken off the menu in my opinion. I tried a sip of my friend's cocktail (The Mermaid) and it was great tasting and also had a good amount of alcohol in it. I would come back here just for the drinks, but I don't think I would want the food again. So Food Beast is a restaurant / bar inside of Area 15 and is lively, but still gives you what I would the "restaurant experience". As pretty much all of Area 15 the room is dimly lit and this room has cool looking fake candles and old-ish looking lights at your table and near the top of the ceiling. We got a kids pepperoni pizza, a French dip sandwich and fries with Parmesan cheese, a regular cheeseburger and what's called a classic T.E. Double stack which is basically just a double cheeseburger with a potato spiral (see picture). The kids pepperoni tasted sooo good. The crust was the perfect mix of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The perfectly seasoned pepperoni we're so big I had to stop and make sure it wasn't salami, which it wasn't. Well worth it. I like how they did the French dip in particular. I'm most cases restaurants do two huge sandwiches halves with tons of bread and not much meat. This sandwich was narrower than normal. It had more meat and less bread with I just loved, being the carnivore that I am. It's also in four pieces so it's easy to handle without having to worry about cutting it. There wasn't much au jus sauce but it wasn't necessary because there was less bread that it needed to soak up. One of my all time favorite renditions of a French did, perhaps the first one I've ever had that I hadn't felt obscenely I'll afterwards. The Parmesan fries were very good, the fries golden brown with not too much of the cheese flavor, very understated, very good. The double stack seemed like it would be too much meat at first glance. It wasn't lol. Perfectly seasoned, with a hint of pepper I believe. It was the perfect amount of juicy and did not disappoint. The potato spiral was good, not too much seasoning but with ketchup (as with most potato related snacks) it was on point. The waiting staff was attentive and helpful. A tad bit loud for my liking but we knew that it would be going in. Not the cheapest place to eat at, but I will say it was worth the money! Try the french dip! You'll be glad you did! read more

We came here to eat because of tik tok of course. We saw so many amazing reviews here so we had to come and try it out for ourselves. We don't know if we just came at the wrong time or the wrong day but the food was not it. Everything was like warm, the food took forever to come out. The service was not good. It felt like we was bothering the workers and they definitely didn't want to be there. I can't even remember what we got but we did order A LOT and we did not enjoy any of it because of the temperature of the food, the wait, the dryness, the size of the food for the price??? Absolutely not. And then the random flavors which we was willing to try and be opened minded to because we love to try new things even if it doesn't makes sense.... But absolutely not. The inside of the restaurant was decorated nice though, it was definitely Instagram worthy for pictures but the food and the price?? I think I'll pass. I'd probably give it another try and order other things off the menu but our last visit again from the service to the wait time of our food and to our food in general just was not it. How can you not check out The Beast by Todd English when at Area 15? The venue is upscale and fun with culinary action stations in the center of the venue. Music is on point and atmosphere is upscale. Although this venue does not have a specific mocktail list, they do have options for those non drinkers. I decided on the 1/2 lb. brisket and my husband decided on the pork sandwich. Food took a while than we expected and I was a little surprised to see that the brisket was less than what was noted on the menu. Flavors were good but the star of the dish was that Cornbread cake Yumm! Overall a good meal, we will be sure to try out some other dishes when we come back for a visit. read more

In town to visit Meow Wolf's Omega Mart and after sweating up a storm my group and I really needed some water. We decided to come here and get some and figured we would get an appetizer as well. Although we didn't have a reservation, we were sat at a table immediately which was great! We noticed that there wasn't really a section on the menu for appetizers so we searched and searched the menu and decided to get the chicken street tacos. And I must say they were really good. I just wish there was more meat for the price and the one food item took a while to come out. One other thing I would note is that the music is super loud so you're yelling or talking louder than normal. The loaded fries are amazing! So good we ordered twice. The briskets were the next best thing. I also enjoyed the caprese pizza. Drinks and desserts were mediocre. I think in the pursuit of the theme and making the food look a certain way, the flavor/ quality of the drinks and deserts ended up being lost. Many things go into a place getting a five star review, things like pricing, atmosphere, wait time, food quality, and I guess that actually sums it up. I visited The Beast by Todd English on Wednesday night to celebrate Las Vegas restaurant week (more like month) and enjoy a three course meal for the price of $30. This place is located inside of Area 15 so the atmosphere is pretty awesome from the get go, so the entire experience is full of awesome and unique art and neon lights. We showed up around 6PM and were seated right away at the only table in the restaurant without art or a cool bubble window thing, but hey, I'm not holding a grudge over it. Our server was super friendly, quick, and helpful throughout our meal and definitely made the whole experience pleasant. The deal for dinner was an appetizer, main course, and desert for $30 and that's a great price if you ask me. I ended up ordering the bang bang shrimp for my appetizer, the T.E. Fish an' Chips for my meal, and then New York Style Cheesecake as my desert. Let's dig in! Bang Bang Shrimp- definitely served as an appetizer for one, the bang bang shrimp were super flavourful and tasted absolutely delicious! The small cup was drenched in a sweet chili sauce and boy oh boy, it popped! T.E. Fish an' Chips- the fish n' chips were served with waffle fries which is my absolutely favourite type of Fry, so right off the bat I was loving it. The batter on the fish was a little different then what I would of expected from the dish, but I did enjoy it and it had great taste to it. New York Style Cheesecake- I'm actually not the biggest cheesecake you, but once you drizzled some chocolate on this bad boy I became a believer. The cake was delicious and I absolutely loved the crust! Overall, I had an amazing time at The Beast by Todd English. From the moment I walked in till' the moment I left (which was actually pretty fast since it was literally 5 minutes from the time I ordered food until the time I was served) I was super stoked. We went to Illuminarium, and chose to go to the Beast for an early dinner as my daughter really likes their Korean corn dogs. They accidentally gave us the Happy Hour menu, usually available on Monday through Thursday between 4-6pm as per the waiter, and we were there on a Friday at 5pm. The customer service here is excellent, as they considered it their mistake that they accidentally gave us the happy hour menu so honored orders and prices off that menu. That was the best part of the experience. The bad: 1) It is only 5pm and they are just opening, and they were already out of tacos that my daughter wanted on the main menu and pretzels I wanted off the main menu. 2) No dessert menu!!!! The only dessert is some large cookie they are selling at the front of their restaurant whether you're dining in the restaurant or just walking past it. Not good! Great dessert options in the past were nowhere to be found. 3) Happy hour alcohol options limited. Ordered one Stella Rosa blueberry and and one Stella Rosa Pineapple and both served in their cans. For happy hour five dollars account, still very expensive. The okay: 1) hummus and pita plate with veggies very average. 2) Bang Bang shrimp not that great, and would not order it again. 3) TE burger was ok yet very expensive at $17.. was not worth more than $14 which is still a steep price for a plain double patty burger and fried potato chips. 4) Loaded fries with meat and cheese good yet got soggy way too quickly. Overall, ok yet not impressed. With the exception of customer service, which is really good, nothing was exceptional. This is the second time we tried this restaurant and it's still not better than it was last time. It's a very odd place with an odd menu and I get that it's area 15, but still very mediocre. We did not like the menu for the restaurant at illuminarium, so in the future we might make plans just to dine completely away from AREA15 unless they get better options. read more

We had lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy but not packed, and we were able to be seated immediately. The atmosphere was immersive, with several open kitchen stalls sending smells of smoked meat and grilled goodness out into the dining room lined with various themed art. The food was good, the service was friendly, informative, fast, but not pushy or overbearing. The cauliflower pizza was better than you'd expect, and the toppings were of course plentiful and delicious. My friend enjoyed her Cuban and said it was plenty to be able to take half home for a snack. The only reason I dropped a star is bc it was so loud as to not be immersive but drowning.
