Tasty blueberry drink The first eggs Benedict's egg whites were a little runny, but just by the way they handled it, bringing out a perfectly cooked one, they deserve a 5. A restaurant's gonna have mistakes, but again, it's how they handle it. Hollandaise maybe could have had a tad more lemon for my taste but that's being particular. The ham on it was delish. Saw this place had a bunch of reviews on Yelp and Google so we decided to check it out. Best decision ever! Our server was very friendly and helped us make our decision on what to try. We got the Eggs Nicole and Italiano omelette. If I remember correctly this is sort of like a French influenced so the eggs were prepared and cooked differently. I will say they could have used some salt, but nonetheless the food was great. I love freshly squeezed orange juice and let me tell you something this place gives you freshly squeezed orange juice! The best breakfast in Sequim and Port Angeles area. I have three criteria; ambience, the food, and the people who work at the restaurant. All three are at this restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant. I typically get the parfait which is yogurt, their handmade granola, and berries. If you purchase the parfait, they give you a specific size but for some it's just too big. Ask for the smaller one. But if you're interested in more food than get the regular. I also get the Cali Benedict for those who don't eat meat. It has avocado, tomato and spinach instead of Ham. They don't have it on the menu but ask for it anyways. read more

We were on our way to Olympic National Park and made a breakfast stop at Oak Table Cafe. We arrived at around 11am and were seated immediately seated for a party of three. HAM AND CHEDDAR OMELETTE ($18.25) - The omelette was very fluffy and really good. It was a little simple with just ham and cheese but the fluffiness of the eggs really took the cake. I subbed the buttermilk pancakes for breakfast potatoes and they were good; there was also no charge which was nice. 4.5/5 ITALIAN SCRAMBLE ($18.95) - This scramble came with Italian sausage, spinach, onions, and Swiss cheese. I thought it was okay; I wasn't the biggest fan of the Swiss cheese and the spinach and preferred the omelette more. We subbed the buttermilk pancakes for potato pancakes for an extra $1.50 but they really didn't taste like anything even with the sour cream and apple sauce. 3.5/5 APPLE PANCAKE ($19.50) - This tasted less like a traditional pancake and more like a cross between an apple pie and French toast. It had a very unique and custard consistency with crunchy bits on top. I'm not even a big sweet breakfast person and I enjoyed it, although I don't think I could've eaten a whole thing by myself because it was HUGE. If you like pancakes and cinnamon and sweets, you'll like this. 3.5/5 This place had an old school diner feel in a small town with very nice servers and workers. Calling this place a cafe doesnt do it justice. With homemade preserveres to homemade hollindase and sour cream evety dish and every bite is a delight. With vaulted celings that lower the chatter noise to ceiling fans that bring a welcome small breeze, it somehow maintains that mom and pop feel that makes you feel like youre at home eating with family. Its a beautiful place amazing decor loved the vibe and the staff was very nice and friendly. We ordered Swiss scramble with Canadian bacon, pancakes and cappuccino. We ordered it without cheese and I did not miss having cheese on the omelette. The mushroom in a perfect béchamel sauce poured over the omelette. Ok ya all I am a HUGE fan of The Oak Table restaurant and their food!! $$$ But unfortunately Sequim has lost their drive to deliver. The servers DO NOT work as a team. Nope they will not see you if you aren't their table. Our Viennese coffees were delicious but just as I was bragging about the High whip cream that usually comes with it( super impressive). A table behind us Was in fact delivered such a cup as I described so consistency is also a problem here. When Asked how my food was and if everything was good... I had to be honest it was NOT! I told her it taste like it had been microwaved ... and not good she in fact said they heat it in the microwave... it was Quiche and for any real Quiche lovers out there you know it should be a flaky crust at the bottom. It was gooey and hard to cut or chew. I did not eat it nor was I offered something else, nor was I asked by checkout in the front how my meal was. They knew... but made NO attempt to fix it. I stuck with the toast ( that I had to send back because it was cold and butter was just sitting on top) The fruit was Seasonal worthy and good. But 65$ no give a damn I wont be returning to Sequim Oak Table sadly. read more

The Oak Table is hands-down the best breakfast place we've ever been to in all of our years of traveling, about 40+. We've been here several times in the last 10 years but thought that we would leave an updated yelp review. This place is consistently wonderful. My husband loves it so much he wants to move here. We plan our vacation around eating here. The servers are always so pleasant and the coffee pot comes around often for refills. Everything is delicious, but the buttermilk pancakes are the stars! We've never tasted a pancake this good in all of our travels or in all of my experiments at home. I got the blueberry pancakes this time just to be different and they were quite good also. Didn't love the drafty windows next to our table because we were a little cold already and felt we couldn't take our jackets off. However, the menu offered soooo many tasty options. I was very pleased with my 49er cakes, but I'm glad the misses shared some bacon with me because this is a huge amount to neck down as a solo offering.
