    Caramelized pear salad with chicken
    Frank S.

A Delightful Late Lunch Experience My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner and were pleasantly surprised that we had the entire place to ourselves. Maria ordered the Tortellini in brodo alongside a caramelized pear salad topped with grilled chicken. I opted for a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The lettuce in my salad was crisp and fresh, though the grilled chicken was slightly dry. Fortunately, the Caesar dressing more than made up for it--it was among the best I've ever tasted, elevating the entire dish. Maria thoroughly enjoyed her tortellini in brodo, savoring its rich flavors, and found her salad to be equally delightful. Overall, despite a minor drawback, our meal was a satisfying and flavorful experience. One thing to keep in mind: The village of Port Jefferson has removed the ability to pay for parking via credit card. A patron is required to scan a QR Code and pay via the site that appears on the screen.

Ordered a pizza on our way to the ferry. Not on the menu but they made us a Chicken Parmesan Pizza. Great coal fired crust, homemade sauce and fresh mozzarella cheese. The chicken was ok. Ate the pizza in the car waiting for the ferry to let us in.

Nice early dinner cozy spot to eat! Fast service. Our waitress has such great energy and positive vibes it made the experience even better. Started to fill up once we started to leave around 6pm. They host large parties too. I was craving coal fired pizza and that is what i got! Medium sized personal pie enough for two and a house salad also enough for two.

Came here curious, left disappointed. Margherita pizza: 8/10. Thin crust, sauce was nice, but no fresh basil... which is like forgetting the lime in a margarita. Buffalo pizza: not even worth the calories. One bite and I was done. Wings: reheated vibes !I didn't order leftovers, thanks. Calamari: soggy, not crispy. Service: meh, not attentive. Tried it once, checked the box, but never going back

Went with my girlfriend and another couple and had an amazing experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service was outstanding. We split a Margarita pizza and it was delicious, the sauce was my favorite part. We also had a chicken bacon ranch pizza (secret menu item) which was absolutely exquisite. The other couple got the chicken Marsala which they said was amazing. We got garlic knots as well which were okay, lacking in any garlic flavor. For lunch this was a perfect spot, would definitely come back.

The Pie is my favorite pizza place for thin crust pizza. My mom and I shared the mozzarella sticks to start which seemed deliciously homemade and are very stretchy. I got a classic margarita pie for my entree and my mom got a focaccia flatbread piled high with their house salad. We both enjoyed our meals and the service. We finished it off with a cookie dough blast, which is a chocolate chip cookie lava cake warm with vanilla ice cream.

So I want to start off by saying that this restaurant was really fun and it went from Fancy to pizzeria to outdoor dining bliss. All the chitter chatter going around was really nice. All the laughter and everybody enjoying their time there. The food was so good. I stepped outside of my comfort zone and tried the watermelon and feta salad. It was absolutely phenomenal. I definitely cannot wait to make this at home. The pizza was so perfect as well. It was just enough for the both of us. The bad part. Our waitress was absolutely horrible. She forgot about us, she never checked on us, I literally had to wave somebody down after sitting there and waiting for 30 minutes to get our check. There was never an I'm sorry, there was never anything. We literally never saw her again. I would come back for the food, but I would definitely avoid this particular waitress we had. Definitely three stars for food, but due to customer service, there's definitely room for improvement.

We were in the area and decided to check out this restaurant for dinner because the reviews all looked great. For an appetizer, we got the garlic bread. It came out in the shape of a mini pizza and had delicious thin crust. We also got a medium pie with half buffalo chicken and half chicken pesto. We were initially going to get 2 separate small pizzas, but our waitress suggested we get a medium with half and half instead. She was right because this was the perfect amount for 2 people. The pizza was pretty good, but I wasn't crazy about the chicken. Maybe it would've been better if it were breaded. The service was great though! Our waitress kept stopping by to check up on us and refill our drinks. The owner even stopped by at one point to ask how we were doing.

I picked up a Margherita pie to go and it got glowing reviews from 3 people with very different and picky views about pizza. It was the right balance of cheese and sauce and the crust had good flavor. I added a hint of salt but that was all that was needed. Highly recommended and will return to try more.

Came here a few times and while I enjoy the food and the authentic Neapolitan style pizza, I wish the price tag was a little friendlier. The pizzas run you around 20+ each and the pasta needs a lot of work. PIZZAS Thin, stretchy crust, chewy, stretchy cheese and a nice balance of flavors makes for quality Neapolitan style pies surprisingly authentic to what I experienced in my travels to Italy which can be hard to find, and is surprising for the area. I'm glad they're in port jeff. When it comes to Neapolitan pies simple is best imo. PASTA Have had their pasta a few times and since pasta is something that is relatively easier to cook at home what I really look for is pasta that tastes freshly made vs fried pasta that you can boil yourself. Unfortunately I did feel that the pasta tasted like the latter and doused heavily with oil, with toppings that were soggy (veggies) or dry (chicken) and for the price I def would have liked a better quality but at a place whose name is the pie shame on me for not sticking to the pies! I will probably come back here for the pizza for a nice occasion or celebration but it isn't a place where I keep on rotation just yet. Keep up the great work with the pizzas guys!

Filthy silverware. Overpriced food. Mediocre taste. Incredibly rude waiter. I honestly can't recommend it less.

We started by sharing a salad and WOW. Do not skip it. It's one of those simple Italian salads that somehow just hits perfectly, and adding the mozzarella is an absolute must. Fresh, generous portions, and way better than you'd expect from a classic pizza joint. I could've eaten the whole thing myself and been happy. We each grabbed a slice and shared some garlic knots, which were warm, soft, and loaded with garlic flavor (aka exactly what you want). The slices were classic New York-style, nothing overdone, just solid, comforting pizza that reminds you why these spots never go out of style. The menu keeps things simple in the best way. Pizza, slices, and, salads. All the staples you expect, no unnecessary extras. It makes ordering easy and keeps the focus on what they do well. You're not here for trendy toppings or experimental flavors, you're here for reliable, satisfying food. The vibe inside is super casual and welcoming. It feels like a true local spot where regulars come in, families stop by, and no one's trying too hard. The staff were friendly and easygoing, which just adds to the comfort factor. I'm already looking forward to coming back, and next time, I might just order that salad for myself.

Surprisingly, one last table was immediately available, so that's good! The rest... not great. First off, we were given food menus, but no drink menu. Our waitress was busy, so after about 10 mins we were able to flag down a busser and ask them if they could kindly hand us a drink menu, which they did even though that's not their job. Another 20 mins go by until our waitress finally showed up to take our orders. Complimentary rolls and olive oil to dip came, which was good. Then, 3 drinks came, the fourth one (a soda, no fancy cocktail) we waited 10 mins for and then had to remind the waitress about it. We were all done with our first round of drinks way before the food came, so ordered another round. Then, the food came. BUT! Not for everyone, only for 2 out of 4. We waited a couple of mins so we could all start at the same time, but after a while decided to just start because the food was getting cold. A whole 15 minutes later, the third person got their food, followed by the fourth person, as the first two people were already done eating. Super awkward. At one point the waitress put a drink on our table with the words "I know you didn't order this, but I can't find the person who did so you get an extra, enjoy!" At first I was happy about that free drink, but a couple mins later she came back and took it away again! Gave it to the table next to us. I guess the look on my face wasn't very happy after being teased like that, so she did end up grabbing me a free drink. The food itself received mixed results. The salad was ok, $16 for green leaves, some beets and some cheese. Dressing was good, but served in plastic to-go containers? Added chicken for an extra $4.50 was good. Brick-oven pizza looked good but tasted like cardboard. I fully expected the bill to be wrong, with all the back and forth with forgotten drinks, extra drinks etc., but it was correct, yay! Probably won't be back though.

At first I was going to complain that for a $29 pasta dish via DoorDash (Orecchiette di Rabe) their to-go containers don't seal leaving a garlicky soupy mess in the bag and everywhere else and that the packaging should be better. But the second day I had leftovers of the same dish still in the container that won't seal properly, I found a long hair in literally my second to last bite. Not my color, not my length and it was intertwined with pieces of pasta. Also, those were not sun dried tomatoes. They were warm pieces of tasteless lumps. Do better Carnival.
