We got their shareable cocktail "I Lava You". It comes in a volcano shaped ceramic cup that you also get to take home (they give you a clean one). This was our last night here in Oahu. I wanted to do something special, we had gone twice to Duke's restaurant and enjoyed it but wanted to do something different. Chat gpt recommended this place and I have to say the AI was right! The place is really fun. You can park downstairs and they valet Park you and they will stamp you for free parking. The atmosphere is a fun vibe. They had live music. It's a indoor outdoor place. One thing to note, they don't serve their lunch menu after 4:00 so we went there expecting burgers and they don't serve them. So we kind of stayed reluctantly. I ended up ordering the guava ribs and my wife got them too. Those had to be the best ribs I think I have ever had! They literally fall off the bone as you're trying to pick up the meat. One of the reasons we wanted to go here was we wanted the options of seafood but one of our adults doesn't like seafood and they said that they had all kinds of stuff, which they do. Our server Maka, was incredible. He brings us out a free appetizer and said that was from the chef. I don't know if it was the chef or him but I was impressed and it was good. It was some kind of little fried dumpling. It was awesome! One of the people in our party had thought he was not going to order something and I gave him one of my ribs and after he tasted it, suddenly he wanted some too. I grabbed Maka and asked him If he could get those ribs fast because the rest of us were already halfway through our meals. He got right on it and had that order in. The ribs came out just in time and everybody was happy. It ended up being one of the nicest meals that we had the whole week. So the place is located on top of the Twin Finn Hotel. It is super cute with great views of you're sitting outside. The vibe is casual but it can get loud inside and it's pretty crowded. Food prices are a bit high but you'd figure that was the case for a spot in such a touristy area. The food itself is not bad, didn't care for my ahí tartar but the ribs and fries were pretty delicious. The coconut chicken was just ok but my mother enjoyed her lamb. We came here for dinner one night and I will preface that the bill was incredibly high. It was very overpriced but the food was phenomenal. Everything we ate and drank was exceptional. The service wasn't amazing but it was average. The price was just so high, we did get to take two glasses home but I'd prefer cheaper drinks and no cups. To start, the painkiller drink is AMAZING, it's so delicious and you cannot taste the alcohol although it is definitely fully loaded. The surfer girl was also delicious, as well as the mai tai. We started with the gyozas, which has been the absolute most delicious thing I've eaten in HI period. They were crispy, the sauce and glaze on top was savory, and the meat was delicious. It was unique and incredibly flavorful. For dinner I had the pesto pasta, which was phenomenal. The pesto wasn't too heavy but was still flavorful. I loved the macadamian nuts on top, it paired great with the sauce. There were too many veggies for me and the pasta has no meat. However, it is priced as if it contained meat. I ordered the lobster tail as well to get some protein in. The lobster was well done and paired great with the pasta. My husband had the lamb, which was super tender. It fell right off the bone and was delicious. However, the main character was the gnocchi. The pieces were huge and definitely made in house. They were slightly crisp, but savory. In the sauce they were amazing. The shrimp was also delicious and savory. My husband also had the pineapple crème brûlée and he loved it. Had an early lunch outside on the patio overlooking Waikiki beach. The lobby of the hotel was bustling with travelers coming in and going out so it was a relief to head up to Tiki's. Live entertainment was playing and the weather was perfect, despite a few showers (liquid sunshine). Our server, Taylor, brought out our Fresh Grilled Hawaiian Fish Sandwich (taro bun) with "curly" fries and (our favorite) Beet & Boursin Cheese Stack for us to share. I had the iced coffee (made from a Keurig pod & poured over ice so it was watered down but okay) and my niece had freshly brewed iced tea. The place wasn't busy when we arrived but it picked up before we left. We were sat quickly (on Christmas Day), under the (newish) big tent. It wasn't busy around 4 pm. I got the coconut chicken and I was very hungry so I ate every last bite. Oh and the coconut shrimp appetizer was super delicious, the best thing actually. They should pour that sweet chili sauce that comes with the coconut shrimp all over the coconut chicken. Service was solid as always. Atmosphere was not as good as last time for me. We were seated inside instead of outside (outside was full), and behind the live music, so it was loud and we lost out on the ambience. Food was pretty good. Apps: Quesadillas were actually amazing. It's like melt in your mouth and delicious. Made me ask my mom to try making them like that at home. Gyozas are solid and tasty, didn't have the ribs this time but they are fine aswell. We arrived for an early dinner without a reservation. We were seated after a short wait and happy to be on the patio overlooking the ocean. There was a noticeable wait for any server to acknowledge us but once we were noticed, they really worked hard to make up for the delay. You can't go wrong with Tikis! Their French fries are some of the best fries you will find. I never thought that I would include a review of French fries, yet here I am. They are crispy on the outside just very good. We also ordered their poke on top of won tons. Oh my! The poki tasted fresh and the won tons were crispy. 5 stars for this appetizer. It hit the spot! The portion is generous as well. Their shrimp was golden brown and cooked to perfection. Another 5 star appetizer. The shrimp were good. The breading was seasoned well. It was perfection! The staff is also amazing! They are attentive and all smiles. It's a happy place. You can enjoy good food while enjoying the views of the beach. They have some cool tiki mugs and glasses for sale. This is is neat, hip and fun restaurant that is located on the pool deck of the Twin Fin Hotel. You do not need to go through the hotel to get to it. There is tons of open air seating available and covered seating is available too. You will find s decent sized full bar here as well. That is where I sat. The bar has televisions available to watch. This place overlooks and has an awesome view of Kuhio Beach. The staff here was super friendly. I came on a Wednesday evening and they had live music playing. They guy that was playing was awesome. They serve your typical pub fare that includes salads, burgers, fish, chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, wings, quesadillas, steak, lamb, seafood and ribs. The food sounded good and all, but I was here for the adult beverages. They have a wide selection of tiki drinks that you can get in a keepsake tiki glass (for an additional charge). I opted to forsake the glasses with my drinks and just got them in regular cups. I had Mango Tango and Melon Cooler. They were both very savory and delicious. I really liked and highly recommend them. Be on the lookout for their Happy Hour specials that run from 3PM to 5PM, daily. This place has a laid back, but fun vibe, similar to a Margaritaville. Nice location on corner of Kalakaua so you should be able to see Waikiki beach during the day and a nice sunset at dinner. Minimal appetizers late night but still good. My family and I ate a few meals here during our Hawaii stay. Convenient location as it was down the street from our hotel and had a beautiful view of the ocean.
