Ambiance: it's a trendy cocktail bar located at a ocean front rooftop terrace of the hotel, spacious dining indoor and outdoor, live music performance daily at night, vibrant vibes and good for large group hangout Service: super friendly staff, patient with questions, although it seems they're understaffed, as it's quite slow to place the order and receive food Food: variety choices of food with a focus on seafood MACADAMIA NUT CRUSTED FISH - ***** the catch of the day, with a crunchy coating of macadamia nuts and panko, lemony cauliflower risotto, Kahumana Farms organic carrots, edamame, Parmesan cheese, the swordfish was so fresh, light breaded and seasoned, highly recommend TWENTY LAYER HAUPIA CREPE CAKE - **** twenty layers of crepes, tropical fruit sauce, housemade whipped coconut creme, tropical flavors, recommend Price: premium quality and reasonable prices for the location, expect $60 per person for food, plus tax tip and any drinks

First time at Tikis Grill & Bar, and it definitely won't be our last! From the hostess to the employee picking things up around the restaurant, every single person we encountered was genuinely friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to Maka, our waiter! He was attentive, proactive, and seemed to anticipate our every need before we even asked. The food was outstanding. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious, the prime rib was perfectly cooked, and the wings were packed with flavor. And the drinks? Absolutely heavenly! My Coconut Mojito was refreshing, unique, and one of the best cocktails I've had. Even better, I got to take home a cool Tikis souvenir glass! The atmosphere is fantastic--comfortable seating, a fun island vibe, and a beautiful ocean view that makes the whole experience even more memorable. The only downside? There isn't a Tikis Grill & Bar anywhere near where I live! If there were, I'd be a regular. Highly recommended!

After browsing yelp for my birthday dinner, I stumbled on Tiki's and their Guava Ribs caught my eye. This is located on the second floor with stunning ocean views. The atmosphere is vacation-like and special with this beautiful restaurant. The staff here were friendly and our server was awesome. I loved the vibes and enjoy catching the sunset with delicious bites. For appetizers, we opted for the katsu calamari. This was bomb, good flavor inside out and crunch. My Painkiller drink was boozy goodness and super fun aesthetic. My main course, the guava ribs were juicy and tender! Scenic dinner views and outstanding food from Tiki's!

Kalua Pork Sandwich with fries. Not a bad deal for $17.

Coming into this review, I really began to wonder what to expect for Tiki's. I never visited there before, and being that this was a first-time visit, I was blown away in terms of expectations. From the decor to the view atop the restaurant, it screamed "Hawaii" through and through. So for lunch, I decided to order their Kalua Pork Sandwich. For $17, it was a fair price for what you got in terms of the amount of food. The Pork was very succulent and juicy, and the presentation with the taro bun really made it look like I was eating in a Hawaiian restaurant. The fries were not bad at all. The shape really looked interesting from first look. Overall, I have to say, it was really good. I definitely will consider coming back here for the sandwich again, if I had to. Would I recommend Tiki's? Yes...if you are looking to get a good view from atop and enjoy some good food there. 10/10 Love the atmosphere.

Aloha :) Really enjoyed Tikis! Started with some coco mojitos, which are delicious and really big. They are super expensive at $24 each, but include a really nice souvenir glass. Souvenir shopping done I really enjoyed the Smoked Marlin dip with Taro and Sweet potato chips. I had the seared tuna app with a side of sticky rice for my main course and was full. Our server was very friendly attentive and even brought out a complementary chicken empanada that was super tasty. On this Friday evening, they had live music. That combined with the great view of the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean made it a wonderful evening to top off a great day. Mahalo

I came here in November 2025 with a good friend to celebrate my birthday, and honestly...this was a moment. From the start, the staff was lovely and welcoming. We had great conversations throughout the night, and although I don't remember our server's name, she was absolutely amazing and really made the experience feel special. I ordered the vegan primavera and it was delicious. The portion was huge (no complaints there), and I had leftovers that were just as good later. Always a win. My friend said her coconut shrimp was very tasty, and her piña colada did what it needed to do. I kept it simple with a gin and tonic. Cant go wrong there. The view, my goodness....just watching the sunset on the beach while enjoying a good meal and live entertainment plus company is life!!! Overall, this is easily one of the best spots we've been to and totally up there with Duke's. Planning on returning in November 2026!!!!

Sean our waiter was one of the loveliest person I had ever met in my life. He gave such wonderful food recommendations and was literally a one man army taking care of everyone. He told is to try the special parmesan crusted fish and it was absolutely amazing. The swordfish was flakey and perfectly cooked. The arancini appetizer was quite delicious as well. We came before the hectic time during dinner so we were seated rather quickly. I do recommend patience here because it does seem to be short staffed here yet large crowds. But the view is phenomenal and again, I cannot emphasize enough: ask for Sean.

Great location overlooks Waikiki beach. Decor and lighting has nice vibes. They had a live performer who sang really good and had a great sense of humor. Our server was on top of everything and super friendly. The food was delicious!! The truffle garlic edamame is a must if you come here! The flavor is amazing!! I didn't let any sauce go to waste! Never had edamame like this before and now I don't want it any other way! I got the Macadamia Nut Crusted Fish (fresh catch of the day) was soo fresh and delicious the macadamia nut crust was perfectly crisp the fish cooked just right. Paired well with the lemon cauliflower risotto. I absolutely loved this dish! I ate it all! My husband got the Truffle Yaki Salmon, great flavor! Super tender and moist. Twenty layer haupia crepe cake is also a must! Super light creamy dessert, even after finishing my whole plate I had room for this dessert. The whole scenery, and vibe was perfect! The food is incredible and I highly recommend this place! Also, you get to go home with your drink cups!

Loved everything about this restaurant. The ambiance is just fantastic and you can't compete with the sunset view. Had the tuna stack and watermelon salad and both were divine. Had a lychee martini and a rye tai that were both exquisite. The catch of the day over coconut rice was superb and my wife loved the snapper. Sensational service as well. Validated valet parking at the hotel below the restaurant.

The first place we tried when arriving in Hawaii. It's close to our hotel and has super cute decor with a great view of the beach. The service was great, she was very attentive and the food came out quick!! The octopus katsu was amazing and the poke wontons were delicious. The sauces were super tasty. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

I've been coming to Tiki's Grill & Bar for about 20 years, and they are still one of the best bar/restaurants in Waikiki! When family and friends visit from the Mainland, I take them to Tiki's. The food is amazing! Literally EVERYTHING is good. The presentation is like something out of a magazine. The bartenders are highly skilled mixologists, and the servers are the best! I met up with an old Navy Brother who was staying at the hotel and we had such a great time. Our server Katie took excellent care of us. Really Made us feel welcomed and definitely went above and beyond to make it a special night for us. The ocean views at sunset are unmatched, and the live music was top tier. I don't make the trip to Waikiki often and I t's been too long since I've gone to Tiki's, but I've promised myself I will make the trip more often. We got three hours of free valet parking, and the extra hour was $8. A bargain by Waikiki standards. Nothing is cheap on the beach in Waikiki, but Tiki's is definitely worth it. If you're not sure where to go, well this is the place for an experience you will cherish for years to come.

Overall amazing birthday dinner!! First time in Hawaii, and we were looking for a fun Hawaii vibe for my 38th birthday dinner. My husband searched up on yelp and saw best place to view a sunset. The live band was the icing on the cake. As we got there we were greeted and sat very quickly. We had reservations and sat in the patio near the live band. Beautiful ocean view right behind us! What really made this birthday dinner perfect was our waitress Julia! She was absolutely AMAZING! Oh so sweet and dealt with all our questions with so much patience! We were lucky enough to get a complimentary dish from the chef! I will say my macadamia crusted fish was a bit dry but I'm in Hawaii! There was no way I was going to complain! All in all we had a beautiful time!! Thank you so much Julia and the band was 10/10! We will definitely visit again. Aloha

To my surprise, on a Sunday evening after having dinner nearby at Maze, my wife and I walked over to Bar Leather Apron and we were able to get seated right away! In fact, around 7:30 p.m. when we stopped by, there was actually a ton of seating available in the bar. Who would've guessed. If you're in the same boat as me and are unable to find a reservation for your upcoming visit, I would encourage you to stop by and try a walk-in. The first page of the menu lists a wide variety of whiskey based cocktails. Most -- if not all, of the cocktails are pre-fixed with BLA (Bar Leather Apron), and represent a collaboration with the named distillery. If you're fan of whiskey, you'll definitely have a difficult time picking only one. I ultimately ordered their "Take Warning" -- 2021 BLA Knob Creek BLA Single Barrel, Cynar, Carpano Antica, Mezcal, Bergamot Salt. Drinks here are not cheap -- averaging $20 to $25 per drink. Although my drink was very spirit forward, it still felt very well balanced. I appreciated the hint of smokiness from the mezcal that rounded out the end of a sip. Service here quick and friendly. When we received the check, a cute small chocolate snack was brought over as well, borrowed from the menu at Maze. Overall, I can see why Bar Leather Apron has earned so many accolades in its field. Definitely worth a stop by if you enjoy the art of mixology.

When you start with a cocktail concept that is deliberately kept low key with no signage, and a drink menu that rotates and evolves, you have a pretty good floor to start. Having a cozy place to settle in and being able to enjoy food from Chris Kajioka should give 430 Pkwy a high ceiling. If you like an espresso martini try something a little different. Their Espressing My Love batches espresso with Averna, black walnut bitters, and a unique monkeypod syrup. Unfortunately, there is no espresso machine so you cannot get fresh drawn espresso to make a Carajillo the way Cafe Miro use to. The ahi brioche is a carry over from all Chris Kajioka places. The grilled cheese is excellent. Hotdogs are kicked up - it used to be a black truffled miso chicken sausage but the current one is a little different. The problem is the food preparation totally undermines the whole place. Without a separate kitchen you have frying being done just a few feet away from where cocktails are made. If you sit on the right side of the bar you will quickly understand why this doesn't work. I would come here more frequently if i didn't have to smell like cooking oil afterwards. Fix that problem and this place would rock.

The interior was also well designed but I wish our group was sat in a different area of the bar. We got sat in this one corner and it was dark with like translucent lights, kinda like Jinx's lair from Arcane. Idk just wished we sat somewhere else with more light and visibility of the bar. The drinks were pretty good. It's a large menu and honestly I wanted to try multiple drinks but can't be getting all drunk and stuff you know the vibes. Also I know it's unrelated to this establishment but it's next to a billiards hall and that was legendary. Great vibe, great place, highly recommend.

Firstly, the vibes are IMMACULATE. 20/10…read more Wild Orange is a speakeasy hidden behind an old-school Aloha Maid vending machine. Apparently you're normally supposed to put a coin in to open the secret door, but it's broken right now, so the whole vending machine just swings right open. Slightly less secret, but still very cool. Inside is where this place really shines. Moody lighting, a giant orange tree in the middle of the room, Japanese hip hop playing in the background (I want to steal this entire playlist), and extremely cool and friendly servers and bartenders. I've been to a few other attempted "speakeasies" in Honolulu, but most are basically just dark bars with a fun door or code word. Wild Orange actually has the VIBES to make the whole concept work. Definitely worth coming just to hang out and chill. They have a full bar and an extensive specialty cocktail menu. Tried the Purple Dragon, made with ube liqueur and coconut cream. Very sweet--a little TOO sweet for my taste--but tasty and pretty. Probably should have listened to the menu and kept it as a shot, but I wanted something I could sip on for a while and chill. The Umeshu Highball was also very pretty and tasty. My friend who works as a sake distributor was impressed with their selection of good sake, so of course we had to order a bottle. Our server brought it out in an ice bucket, kept it off to the side, and completely served it for us throughout. Very classy. The food menu is fun and creative, but unfortunately not really for me because it's entirely vegan. Most times, but ESPECIALLY when I'm drinking, I want MEAT. Tried the Wild Musubi, a vegan Spam musubi. I'm not actually sure what the "meat" was. Possibly fried tofu? Whatever it was, it was definitely a passable alternative, but would have been 100x better if it were just plain old Spam. It also falls victim to what I find is a common problem with vegan attempts at Japanese food: anything teriyaki ends up being way too treacly sweet without actual meat or seafood to ground it in reality. Also tried the Char Siu Tofu Bao, fried tofu in a red Chinese-style char siu sauce on fluffy white buns. Again, fun and certainly not bad, but these would be 1000x better with actual pork. If Wild Orange had this exact same creative food menu but carnivore edition, this place would probably be 7/5 stars for me. That being said, I know being vegan will actually be a huge draw for some people, and I appreciate that the food is creative rather than just the usual sad vegan afterthoughts. Parking is pretty easy by Honolulu standards. It's inside Hawaiian Brian's, so there's a large shared parking lot. That being said, you might still have trouble finding a spot during peak gym hours since you're competing with all the 24 Hour Fitness customers. All in all, I LOVE this place. Definitely a fun stop--first, middle, only, or nightcap--on a chill night out. Will absolutely be adding Wild Orange into the rotation of places to bring out-of-town guests when I want to impress them with something cool and different. The vegan menu probably means it'll be a couple-times-a-year place for me rather than a regular haunt. But for drinks, service, atmosphere, and pure VIBES? 20/10.

What we thought was a pawn shop turned out to be... a speakeasy?!…read more What a lovely surprise. A gem of a find! I will never forget this experience. I was just skipping around town exploring wanting to check-in to as many places as I could like the responsible Yelp elite that I am and then I find this amazing hole on the wall speakeasy. The lovely gentleman in the front welcomed us in to take a look around and I asked him if I could take photos for yelp and he told me that if I was going to write a review, I had to join them. So of course, I took the invite and decided to stay for a little while. We sat at a nice area. A perfect little place. I just want to take a snapshot and keep it in my memory so I can emulate it and turn it into my home study. I could stay here forever. The vibes were on point. The server recommended drinks that he thought we would like, and we loved both of them. I don't remember what the drinks were called, but mine had a blueberry taste to it, and my friend had a mock tail, but some sort of Yuzu to it. We also shared a $15 charcuterie graze. 10 out of 10 would recommend being curious and opening doors to finding out that there's a speakeasy randomly in an area you never thought would be there. What an amazing experience.

What surprised me most was how good the food was for the price. Usually spots with this kind of atmosphere rely on the drinks to carry the experience, but every dish actually delivered. The chicken karaage was crispy and packed with flavor, the beef takoyaki disappeared almost instantly, and the taro chips with mascarpone were such a unique combination. Between the cocktails, food, service, and atmosphere, everything just worked.
