Typical touristy spot in Waikiki. Food is average, a bit overpriced, but typical for the area. The ambience is nice with the outdoor seating looking over Kuhio beach park and twin fin hotel pool is right next door. The puttanesca was nothing special but not bad, and the portions are decently sized. Service was quick and polite and they are able to split checks which is appreciated. read more

Staying the the hotel this place is in and have had lunch and their poolside service. The service was great for both. There drinks are very tastey highly recommend the Mai ties. We had the French oinion dip and the pulled pork for lunch and for pool side service a couple of drinks and the typhoon fries which were AMAZING. Reservation is recommended. We still had to wait a bit for our table when we arrived. The host was very welcoming. We got a great view of Waikiki Beach from where we sat. Good table service. We chose Tiki's for our final night in Oahu based on all the great reviews, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst dining experience of our entire trip. To start, our appetizers took over 30 minutes to arrive--while we watched tables seated after us receive theirs much faster. Our server never once stopped by to acknowledge the delay or apologize. We eventually learned from a completely different server that the food runner had mistakenly delivered our apps to the wrong table. Still, our server said nothing and continued to ignore us, which was incredibly frustrating. Before being seated, we stopped at the bar for a drink. Once at the table, we asked our server for another round. She requested IDs (understandable), but took mine and walked off without a word. When she returned, she told our entire table that management would not be serving us any more alcohol due to "a rising number of fake IDs from California." Not only was this humiliating and completely unfounded, but I was never even given a chance to verify my age or have my ID scanned. When I asked to speak with a manager, I explained that I was willing to have them scan my ID or even call the police to confirm. We are all over 21 and had planned a special last night together. The manager told us bluntly that we were welcome to "take our business to Lulu's or anywhere else." No apology, no effort to make things right--just complete dismissal. I've never been treated so disrespectfully at a restaurant, especially after spending so much money to vacation here. If you're over 21 but look young, beware--they may treat you like a criminal for it. We left Tiki's feeling insulted and I absolutely cannot recommend it to others, made for an awful last night in Oahu. read more

Great view of the Waikiki Beach if you get a table near the edge. We liked the smoked marlin dip and ribs. Good drink menus and it is always fun to have a live music, and the live music goes till late too. It was really busy when we showed up one night, so we made a reservation for the next night, and got a really good table. Our party of 4 adults & 2 kiddos shared venison gyoza, an island Caesar, Kalua pig quesadilla, poke wonton sliders, coconut shrimp, calamari katsu and guava-glazed ribs, even got to sample a chef's special chicken and yuzu gyoza. Oh, and pineapple brulee for dessert! GET THAT DESSERT. In the immortal words of Maui, "You're Welcome". The food is good but nothing exceptionally showstopping, and the bill was pretty spendy, but it is scenic beachfront Waikiki and it still was cheaper than some knock-off luau experience. Because Tikis is in Waikiki, I used to think..."eh, must be touristy so maybe not so good." But the first time I went, I was blown away on the menu selections and how delicious everything was. Now, every time I stay in Waikiki, I always try to make a visit here. Last night was stellar, from the food, atmosphere and service. We were able to witness the sunset from our table and listen to live music while enjoying a few drinks. Glassware are optional to purchase. We bought a glass and were provided a brand new one in a box at the end of the night. Our server was Zach was friendly and knowledgeable and kind to let us know they were busy with parties so our food might take longer than usual. I ordered the salmon and it was moist and flavorful. My boyfriend ordered the New York steak and said it was a nice thick cut, very soft and delicious. Looking forward to our next visit next time we are in Waikiki. read more

On our last night in Oahu, we came here for dinner upon recommendation from a friend. The food and drinks were pricey but phenomenal. The service was also great - our waitress asked for any dietary restrictions and allergies, which helped me narrow down the menu. To start, I had the Mai Tai - it was similar to the one I had in Monkeypod with the passionfruit foam, so I was very excited to try it. It wasn't as good as the one I had at Monkeypod, but still very delicious. Bonus points for a souvenir cup that I got to take home! For entrees, we got the venison Bolognese which was so delicious - the meat was very tender and the portion size was just right. Honolulu, HI Visited November 9, 2025 We stopped by Tiki's Grill & Bar for dinner on a Saturday night. The atmosphere is definitely geared toward tourists -- loud crowd, upbeat vibe, and live music from a one-man band who was actually pretty entertaining. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening, but unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. We ordered several items, including the Calamari Katsu ($17), Prime Rib Poke ($17), Beet Hummus Plate ($16), Kiawe Smoked Marlin Dip ($16), Ahi Tartare Stack ($21), and Crispy Brussels Sprouts ($10). Everything was just okay -- nothing stood out as memorable or particularly flavorful. The drinks were the biggest disappointment. We had 3 1944 Mai Tais ($72) and 3 Coconut Mojitos ($72), which are massively overpriced. They justify the high price by letting you keep the souvenir glasses they're served in, but that doesn't make up for the steep cost. Overall, this place feels like a typical Waikiki tourist spot -- decent service and live entertainment, but average food and overpriced drinks. Worth it for the view and the vibe, not for the value.
