    Storing overnight for Sunday event.
    Cecile W.

This review is for the party trays...I went to two gatherings within a week of one another, and both served the teriyaki chicken (sauce on the side) that was piled so high for $118. Says it serves 16-20 people but we saw so much left over even after the 20 of us were filled on chicken, veggies $68 for full try and 1/2 tray of rice. I decided to order for my recurring Sunday gathering, but they are NOT open on Sundays! So with some prepping and batching, you can still take advantage of these tasty and hugely portioned trays. About an hour before serving time, Reheat at 300 with tray uncovered for 20 minutes. Stir or move the top layer of chicken around and put back in oven for another 10 minutes. Re-Cover with their foil and drizzle their teriyaki sauce right before serving so the meat doesn't get dried out. Veggies and rice trays/ batch reheat in microwave with wet/damp towels covering them. Put back in their trays and recover until serving It was a hit and we fed 30 people and fill up 10 to go containers!

The food here is incredible! The chicken is so tender and I only didn't order extra meat because I was not too hungry but I will order extra meat next time. The service was friendly and prompt. Lots of tables outside but the inside was pretty full, as they only have so many places to sit inside. Looking forward to going again!

This place is a nice quick service spot if you need something fast. There's a little bit of seating inside and a few tables outside as well. It's not my favorite teriyaki spot but in a jam it'll do. We ate here mid day to save $ before heading to Disneyland. They do have decent portions so you'll definitely hit your protein macros for the day! I wish their teriyaki sauce was a little sweeter, it was on the salty side in my opinion. The walls are decorated in cute coloring pages from customers.

Really good food. I got the number six.. which was a bowl of rice with orange chicken. The chicken was a little on the crunchier side, but I didn't mind that at all. The pricing was reasonable for the area. They had indoor seating, and the staff was so sweet. I'd definitely stop by again.

I ordered the teriyaki chicken and steak plate, and my boyfriend got the teriyaki chicken plate. Both of our plates were FILLED TO THE BRIM and it was SUPER CHEAP! I barely ate 1/8 of my plate before I got full, and my boyfriend couldn't finish half. It was really good, but definitely add the teriyaki sauce. Their teriyaki sauce is super good, and coming from an asian, not too sweet. A VERY underrated spot, and I will definitely come here again! The people running the place were extremely nice too!

Bomb big portion food, with great customer service. Came here looking for a chicken plate and boy did they deliver. They are not skimpy with their meat, and to top it off it taste great. Next time I'm in the area and looking for a bowl, I'll be coming here

    Excellent value.

Excellent value and great service here at Tikiyaki!! Got myself a chicken and beef plate with only veggies. Comes with an egg roll. 12.99. So much good I think I can get 3 meals out of this. Food quality is great. I wish it had some char flavor like some other places but overall still an excellent product. And excellent value. Next time I do want to try the orange chicken !

A lot of the reviews boast about the generous portions and good value. I absolutely agree. I also value that they provide the options of having brown rice without upcharging at additional fees. Eating our meal there, you can tell it was very popular with the large amount of pick-up and to-go orders. It's a mom and pop type of establishment where the people working there seem to have a relationship with the regulars and value the ideals of good customer service. Inside it's clean and well organized.

BUSINESS PERMANENTLY CLOSING 6/28/26…read more Came here with some gals for afternoon tea. It's a cute little restaurant in Old Towne Orange. It's decorated really cute inside and out! Everything was creatively planned and decorated. It was also very clean and spacious inside and out. When you go in, there's a tea sampling station with the menus so you can see which tea you would like to order. Our server was really sweet, but she was the only one serving all of the tables, so she would come by every 10-20 minutes to check on us and some things we asked for didn't make it to the table. If they had more servers, customers would be happy with quicker service. The food and tea were delish! There were 6 of us so we shared a bunch of different teas. I really enjoyed the teas they had. The sweet and savory treats were really yummy! I really enjoyed them. Each person got 5 little savory treats and 4 sweet treats. I kind of wish we got one or two more for $45, but either way they were delicious! We got a variety of dishes to try out, and overall it was just ok. The soup was good but was a little light on ingredients, the papaya salad was decent with a little kick, noodles didn't really have much truffle taste but was ok, green beans were crunchy and probably the best dish here, and the mango sticky rice was not ripe. Most of the mango pieces were hard / not sweet and proportion to the rice was off. The staff was friendly and the space is very open and welcoming. Not sure if I'd come back though unless I was craving the Asian fusion tea service.

If you're looking for a Vietnamese restaurant that offers something beyond the traditional menu,…read morethis place is absolutely worth visiting. The food strikes a great balance between authentic Vietnamese flavors and modern fusion creativity. I ordered the roasted pork dry noodles, and they were outstanding. The noodles were perfectly cooked with a flavorful, aromatic sauce that coated every bite without being greasy. The roasted pork had a beautiful crispy edge while staying incredibly juicy and tender inside. Every ingredient tasted fresh, and the presentation was clean and appetizing. I also had a Vietnamese-style grilled bowl with fresh vegetables and a crispy egg roll. The grilled meat was smoky, well-marinated, and paired perfectly with the crisp cucumbers, pickled carrots, and refreshing greens. The fish sauce dressing tied everything together with the perfect balance of sweet, savory, tangy, and just a hint of spice. The restaurant itself has a modern, welcoming atmosphere, making it a great spot for lunch, dinner, or catching up with friends. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out fresh and quickly.

Based on many reviews and an acquaintance's recommendation, we ordered their pork belly; we really liked the crispy exterior, dry-&-tender interior, and flavor. We ordered: - Pork Belly Garlic Noodles, $15.95: nice, subtle garlic flavor; nice consistency and tasty green aioli sauce. - Pork Belly Vermicelli with Eggroll, $16.95: really enjoyed and appreciated the fresh lettuce, mint, carrots, and cucumbers -- and flavorful fish sauce -- which accompanied the pork and noodles. In addition, the crispy eggroll was tasty, too! - Strawberry Lemonade, $3.00: hubby liked it! - Vietnamese Coffee, $5.45: while I'm not a knowledge on this beverage, I appreciated its flavor and that it was not too sweet. While others praised the service, being a service-can-make-it-or-break-it person, I can't say we had the same experience -- not even a perfunctory greeting upon entering (or leaving); as a first-timer, I was hoping I would be offered a little guidance (with menu selection and paying with my credit card), but I figured it out. Our orders were efficiently and appreciatively brought to our table. Plastic forks, spoons, individually-wrapped chopsticks, and (the thinnest-&-smallest) napkins were conveniently on the tables. We left satisfied -- already considering what we'll try next time.

We ended up getting the green beans, the filet mignon French style, a black bean fish fillet, and their house special fried rice. I thought the best item that we got was the fried rice. They put a decent amount of shrimp and barbecue pork and it tasted pretty good. The green beans was a tad bit on the sweeter side which I wasn't used to, but it had decent flavors. The filet mignon was a little bit on the smaller side and there wasn't a ton of pieces in there and it was the most expensive dish of the night. I probably will skip that next time. The fish fillet was actually pretty good. All in all, 3.5/5 stars is probably what I would give it. There are definitely better Chinese restaurants if you're willing to drive a little bit out.
