Korean Mexican fusion restaurant with diner vibes. Super nice owners made sure everything was going great for us. Solid place for my cheat meal. I got the pork belly fries. Comes with a large bed of fried with thick pork belly. Covered with addicting sauce and pico de gallo. The chicken sando was super juicy and had a crispy skin. Soft bread. The chicken bulgogi quesadilla had loads of cheese inside and crispy cheese on the side. Tasty flavor. Looking forward to their coming soon items! Located in a not so busy plaza with lots of parking.
Loved that this place as it closes late which was perfect for our long day of traveling to LA. The restaurant is in a pretty dead plaza next to a taco bell and can be easily missed as the sign isn't labeled Tim's Avenue yet. Looks like they took over a restaurant before as the place has some windows boarded up and such when I visited. Considering how busy it was, the food that we ordered at the front came out super fast. Because of how packed it was, the place also has a pickup through window for people who order take out which I thought that was a nice touch. Get the bulgogi tacos and the pork belly tacos! They are sooo good and I love the spicy sauce that it comes with! I would say the pork belly fries are pretty similar in what they put in the tacos so I would pass on that unless you like the sauce and favors on the tacos. Service was also friendly and efficient! I would the prices are also typical for a fusion restaurant but its definitely worth!
Everyone has been hyping this spot to be a hidden gem. It was very underwhelming, the food was salty and didn't have much flavor to it. The options are on the heavier side and after eating all the food we felt so gross. The worker was very friendly and nice, the food was made to order. The restaurant was very warm, I don't think the AC was on. There's indoor and outdoor seating. This place replaced another resturant, so their signage doesn't say Tim's Ave.
I decided to come try this place out since it's very close to where I box. Let me tell you, they serve you a very good portion for their bowl , the beef bowl is DELICIOUS! I think for $18, it's not too pricey, since they do serve you a pretty good portion. The place is nice and clean and the cashier was very nice. Overall experience 9/10. Food taste : 9.2/10
Came to Tim's Avenue after a long day of traveling. The SO has been craving any sort of loaded fries so when I named the pork belly fries he was sold! Plus it was around 10/11PM and they were one of the few locations nearby that was still open. Located off Lincoln, Tim's (aka Olligo Grill) serves Korean fusion tacos, quesadillas, burritos, fries, and more. The inside is about the size of a typical fast food joint with about 5 tables for dine-in. You order at the counter. We ordered: Fried chicken sandwich - super juicy! so juicy that the bun underneath completely soaked it up. The brioche bun was still delicious though! It definitely turned into a fork and knife sandwich. Pork belly fries - huge portion and the perfect meat/fry ratio was appreciated. Even with the sauces and the short drive back to the hotel, the fries stayed crisp (not soggy!) Price is good value based on the portion of food we got. Wouldn't mind returning if we're ever in the area and need a late night snack!
Have seen this place but never tried it, came here recently since it was the only thing open. I ordered these two tacos which are not my go to. BUT they were soo good. Whoever made these that night, thank you!! I'm skeptical when it comes to bulgolgi and sauce because it can be too overpowering or too sweet and these were perfect for my taste buds. Not too much sauce, the meat serving made me so happy! They were generous with it :) Would come again for the tacos.
Love, love, love this place! Especially their pork belly fries! The set up is so cute and i've always been treated so kindly there! I've gone for a date, a hang out, and even after a friend's graduation! They have nice spread of menu (wings, burritos, fries,) and I love their Tim's sauce as well!! Highly recommend going!
I was pleasantly surprised by the food here as it's not what you would expect from the name or aesthetic. We ordered the burrito ( I honestly forgot which one I ordered but it's pictured), the quesadilla and the fried dumplings. The quesadillas were soooooo goood!!! My favorite from what we ordered. I would definitely order these again! They are probably the best fusion quesadillas I've tried so far. The burrito was good as well and the dumplings were okay (I think I have high expectations as a Korean) But the start of the show was the quesadillas forsure! Definitely give it a try if you stop by here!
We got the Pork Belly Fries. The portion was huge. It can easily feed 2. The fries stayed crisp, even the ones coated in sauce. It tasted like In-n-Out's Animal Style fries with some freshness coming from the tomatoes and herbs. This was a solid dish and would recommend others to try this. Service was fairly quick. There are not that many seats, can seat around 25. It's also easy to miss when you're driving down Lincoln.
Shoutout to my family for showing me this one! Tucked onto the side of Knott and Lincoln is this cute little asian fusion restaurant. They specialize in bites like the Pork Belly Burritos and bulgogi tacos. This time I did get the pork belly burrito which tasted amazing. The employees were kind and patient, offering me recommendations while I was being indecisive. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area. They're open til midnight for those looking for a late night bite to eat!

saw this place on tiktok because we were near disneyland and saw how delicious the food looked. we went on 4th of july and was empty, but the lady that was working there was so kind greeted us in korean haha. she was very nice about everything and we ordered the pork belly fries and the bulgogi tacos. the fries were $16 and the portions were huge. the fries were perfectly crispy, the pork belly was juicy, the pico de gallo was a nice compliment to the fries, and the sauce was a cheese sauce but tasted little bit like spicy mayo which was unexpected good. for the price, the food is very good. the bulgogi tacos were very flavorful and were the perfect bite every time. i love the food and the ambiance, definitely will be coming back. everyone should try and support a family business as well! :)) read more

There is parking to the side of the restaurant and this place does cash and credit card payments (contactless payments as well!) ** Food ** Pork Belly Fries - 4.3/5; This place serves pretty good pork belly fries and has amazing flavor. Although, I definitely think that they need to add more pork belly on there. It felt like there wasn't that much on it. For the price to portion size, I think a couple extra pork belly pieces wouldn't hurt. I also think maybe a couple slices of kimchi to the pork belly fries would make it super good but instead they used pickled red onions instead. It's not a bad substitution but kimchi would be nicer. Chicken Bulgogi Quesadilla - 4.3/5; Super flavorful. The chicken was nice and juicy and great cheese pull. Although I definetely could argue that there could've been more cheese in the quesadilla. ** Service ** Pretty good service, nothing to complain about. We got our food in a nice and timely manner. Service: Just decent. There was one cashier and one cook. At the time coming, there was a line of people waiting for their food. The cashier did her best to serve the food fast and accommodate all our needs. Food: I had the most hopes here, but was pretty disappointed. The fries came out cold and we also found hair. Don't get me wrong, if the fries were fresh and warm (also if there was no hair) it would be a solid 4/5. The actual pork belly was good. In addition the spicy bulgogi taco was honestly the positive here. The tortilla was decent (still cold) and the sauce was was great. Overall: 2.5/5 stars. If you are looking for good fusion food, you can find it elsewhere. NOTE TO MANAGERS: Hire more staff and make fresh food! I really want this place to succeed and hope to come back here in a few months with a changed perspective. read more

we usually come here pretty late cuz it's open super late and one of the few spots open, especially for someone who gets off work late. i come at 12:10, 50 minutes before closing and cashier says we're only serving the pork belly fries and this just confused me because why do you only have one item available 50 minutes prior to closing and for someone who's driving 35 mins from irvine this is a huge let down. why even open this late if you're serving one item on the menu. supposedly the cashier said the "boss" closed up and if he wasn't here they would've have more items available which is absolute ridiculous because from a business standpoint why would you want to lose sales or potential customers who was looking forward for more options other than the fries. Absolutely unprofessional from the boss or just stupid that you want to only serve f****** fries when people drive out far to eat the other shit besides fries like come on be for real read more

We love Tim's Avenue. I came with my husband and we ordered the pork belly fries, beef tacos, and crisp pork tacos. The food came out quickly and was so good. The host was very friendly and the restaurant was clean too. It's a great spot to come eat late at night. I hope everyone tries this place at least once. read more

Tim's Avenue is delicious fusion restaurant that offers a variety of choices. I first tried this place during Covid when they only offered to-go a couple of years ago. Coming back to this place now, they have plenty of indoor seating with vibrant decorations/decor- they even sell their own merchandise! The pork belly fries were so tasty and the fires themselves didn't get too soggy. There was a generous amount of pork belly and it was enough to feed two people! The workers were very kind and offered great service! Definitely would come back here again! read more

My friend introduced me this cute shop and recommended us to eat the pork belly fries. I honestly prefer softer fries and these fries were crunchy but still good I'll probably come again to try out the other stuff in the menu. read more

Pretty good! I'm not a huge fan of greasy fried foods, but somehow they made such "heavy" looking food very fresh and light. Pork Belly Fries was worth the money. $16 for such a big portioned food. I got the pork belly taco and bulgogi. Both were very good, but I would say I preferred the bulgogi more! read more

All of the wings here are delicious- they're large, juicy and freshly fried. I particularly enjoyed the buffalo parmesan wings which were the crispiest buffalo wings I've ever had. I also loved that there was fresh Parmesan grated on top instead of the powdery stuff. The sweet and spicy wings are also really good, if you get the boneless ones with rice cakes they taste very similar to tteokgotchi - a korean rice cake skewer. read more

Tim's Avenue is one of my go to places whenever i'm craving fries. Their Pork Bulgogi Fries is actually one of the best things I have tasted on this Earth. It is so good and worth the $15. The fries on top of the bulgogi, tomatoes, sauce, and other ingredients just goes so well together. Tim's Avenue is usually never crowded and the workers there are always super nice. I love going here with my friends after school and it's a great place to eat some fries or quick eats. Tim's deserves more recognition and it 100% is worth the visit! read more

went again a couple of days ago and they're so popular especially around 8pm-11pm. we tried their chicken/bulgogi quesadilla, pork belly tacos, bulgogi taco, and spicy pork tacos SOOOOO GOOD if we were to rate in the order of what we liked it would be: 1) quesadilla 2) pork belly loaded fries and tacos same tier not saying any aren't good BC all of them are fire. RAW CHICKEN AND OVERCOOKED, BURNT MEAT! Ordered from this place twice in the span of a week, both times were for pick up right before closing. The first time I called, I ordered the spicy chicken quesadilla, beef nachos, and a side of fries. The spicy chicken quesadilla came with raw, pink chicken. See photo attached. I tried calling in to report it as soon as I got home but they didn't answer as they were 10 minutes before scheduled to close. I wrote it off because I was the last order of the night and figured I'd let them know at a future date. The beef nachos and fries were good though, enough to warrant a second try. This was my mistake. Since the nachos and fries were good, I figured the second time around I'd try their loaded fries. On Friday night, I called in an order of pork belly fries, but was told they were sold out of the pork belly but had other proteins available. Per their suggestion, I got their spicy pork fries. When I went to pick it up, I mentioned to the cashier that my last order from Monday night prior had raw chicken - just as a heads up to let them know to be more careful next time. No apology from the worker, just an "oh" as she continued to ring up my order. When I finally returned home to enjoy my fries, I opened the box to find the fries loaded with carcinogen. The spicy pork was burnt to a deep charcoal black. This made the whole order just taste like burnt charcoal. See other photos attached. I don't understand how you can mess up loaded fries this bad. If you can clearly see that the meat is burnt, why would you continue to place it onto a customer's order and serve it up? Just cook a new batch of the protein to dump onto the fries?? The only reason I can see this happening is due to laziness from the staff. Severely disappointed with my experience and will not be coming back after they botched my food twice in a row. Hope none of the future customers get sick eating here. At the very least, please train your staff at least apologize for ruined orders or offer compensation. Still mad that I could have just ordered a side of fries, but paid an extra $10 for them to top my fries with carcinogens. read more

Great late night spot. The menu offers Korean-Mex fusion, from Bulgogi Tacos to Pork Belly Fries. It's small and tends to get packed inside, but it's good for grab-and-go. Food is pretty heavy, but surely comforting after a night out with friends. Chicken Bulgogi Quesadilla: Cheesy and the perfect crisp, I thought it was a bit dry and overly burnt. Still really yummy. Bulgogi Fries: Your standard french fry, but the chipotle sauce is delicious Mm. The bulgogi is cooked to perfection and it's the perfect shareable for 3 people. read more

Came here alone on a Friday night. The restaurant has just been revamped, and it shows! Incredibly sleek aesthetic. The restaurant was busy and popping, great ambiance inside - lots of friend groups, lots of good music. The service was quick and nice; the guy taking my order was very efficient. Above all else, the food is AMAZING!! The new chicken sandwich is FIRE - they really pay attention to quality control, and it shows. The pork belly fries are amazingly good. I had seen this place pop up on social media and I was very excited to try some Korean style protein in other styles. Thankfully, the food did not disappoint at all. I had the Bulgogi Chicken Taco and the new Chicken sandwich and they were both great. The chicken taco was very flavorful and delicious but the standout was definitely the sandwich for me. The sandwich was the perfect amount of crispy and juicy. The chili oil used to season the chicken really complimented the sandwich well and give a little kick that was much appreciated. The location is small and intimate, and the service was great as well. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back! read more

Came in on a Saturday night for dinner and it was completely empty. The dining area was very clean. The cashier wasn't very friendly. When we asked for suggestions, she just said "everything is good" and looked away. For some reason, their menu was not displayed on the board behind the cash register but they had 2 random physical copies which we had to share with another party that came in a couple minutes after we arrived. We ordered a pork belly burrito, the pork belly fries and 3 tacos. The burrito and fries came out within 10 mins, but at different times. We waited an additional 20 mins before following up for the tacos...and when we finally received them, the tacos weren't even hot. All in all, the food was okay, but the experience here was disappointing. read more

Heard the news that there was a new opening, including new menu items. I was a fan before, but after coming back for the new opening decided to write a review because of how well thought out everything is. Today I got the burrito and it did not disappoint at all. California style with fries in it, but has pork belly, which you can't get anywhere else. This spot used to be my go to for the perfect late night cravings meal, but with the new menu, I will definitely be back for even casual lunches! Highly recommend to give this place a try! My brother told me about this family-run business and the new menu and we finally got to try it today. Not only was the food amazing but so was Esther! We ordered the fries, quesadilla, and tacos and everything was balanced and not greasy at all. My mom is super picky and loved everything so we will back again! read more
