The dishes are very easy to share, and I think next time we'll lean into that more so we can sample even more of the menu. The consistency of the udon was al dente, and the curry broth was not too thick either. I got the nikutama soba this time around and the egg was perfect and flavorful! My husband and I have been so excited for a hibachi/sushi restaurant to open near us. We went for lunch today and the food and service was amazing!!! We ordered chicken, shrimp and sushi. The quality of the food was very fresh and well prepared, and the staff was extremely friendly and provided excellent service. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated with a great atmosphere! My daughter and I had lunch here today. We were made to feel so welcome! The atmosphere was really nice. Food was exceptional. The salad dressing needs to be bottled and sold to take home. My daughter had the steak and shrimp and it was very flavorful. I had steak and scallops. My daughter was stealing my scallops off my plate. We also had their dumplings (fried) they were perfect. By the end of our dinner, we regretted every life choice that led us to cheat on our favorite sushi restaurant literally located across the street! First, the Ahi Tuna Tower. Tiny portion, overpriced, and drowned in teriyaki sauce (see my pics). If you need to smother raw fish in sauce, it's probably not fresh. Red flag #1. Next, the Orange Blossom Roll. Small sad bite sized pieces (see pic), the tuna was nearly black, smelled fishy, and it was chewy. We sent it back. To their credit, they took it off the bill. But at that point, we abandoned the Tuna Tower altogether because... why gamble getting sick? The Dragon Roll followed. Also small in size for the price, didn't match the picture on the menu but was somewhat edible. I feel like Kroger sushi would have been a better option. The wait staff stayed polite even though our disappointment was practically radiating across the room. When asked, "How was your dinner?" we gave the safest answer possible: "It was okay." Oddly, no manager showed up to our table .. on a Friday night. On a positive note, they allow BYOB--which honestly feels like part of the business model. Because if you're drunk enough, maybe you won't notice the fish tastes bad.

When I pointed out the mistake and asked for them to be replaced, the staff refused to take the incorrect order off my bill. Instead of fixing their own kitchen error, they forced me to pay for both the ruined rolls and the remake effectively charging me double for one meal. Making an order mistake is one thing, but making the customer pay twice to correct your own error is completely unacceptable. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its customers and stands behind its service.

At this price, I think it's a pretty decent deal. I have to say, for such a small place, the food is quite good. The fish was in great quality. Each course came out quickly and the service was also excellent. STC only has 6 seats because the chef said that's all he can handle by himself. I don't know what he'll do if the restaurant gets an influx of customers. Another key thing to point out is if you enjoy the flavors and taste of Hatsuyuki, then you'll like STC. The chef came from Hatsuyuki.

We were presented the usual list of sushi and sashimi a la carte selections and a very diverse menu covering Basic Rolls, Rice Bowls, Udon, Sushi Bar Combos, Chef's Special Cuisine items, Appetizers, Soups and Salads.
