Considering the prices, I expected much better quality and freshness. What concerns me even more is the way the owner responds to negative reviews. Instead of taking customer feedback as an opportunity to improve, many of the responses come across as defensive, dismissive, and disrespectful. Reading those interactions makes it seem like customer concerns are not taken seriously. I don't mind paying premium prices when the food and service justify it, but neither did in this case. He did without an issue, because no one bother to start it. As the on duty manager was refunding me. A staff member came from the back and lowly asked him if it was canceled. He turned and said yes. So maybe, they already cleaned the machine and don't want to use it, not sure. He did offer a free pastry, I had one on my order, but told him no, it was ok. Always make a point to withhold your money, if you aren't treated as a wanted customer. Everything is too high nowadays. And unfortunately, employees think, their bosses pay them, regardless of money coming through the business. Also, after the previous manager, the food quality has gone way down.
