Good food, always on point. NEVER miss. Poke Bop is my only order with the shrimp tempura‍

What a treat! When we came back from Hawaii all we wanted was poke and Kalua pork, and Top Bop knows how to fill the craving! We still haven't eaten in house, but having it delivered was just as great! Everything was packaged well and neatly for delivery. So far we've ordered the Ahi bowl, Poke bowl, and the Spicy Pork. For the most part the the fish has been pretty great. The tuna feels fresh, but the salmon can be hit or miss. The portion sizes are great though! The Poke bowl is definitely been my favorite: tuna, salmon and crab over rice. I prefer ordering it without the shredded lettuce since it gets wilted and kinda pointless, but the topping of panko/seaweed flakes are on point. The crab is a nice addition but not needed per se; the portion of fish is fantastic. The Spicy Pork bowl was full of flavor and with the addition of the Level 4 - chili paste it's a total win. The best part is being able to choose your level of sauce/spice. I prefer having it on the side and dressing as I eat. Sometimes the texture is a little off when it comes pre-sauced but that may be contributed to having it delivered versus served fresh. Either way, Top Bop is definitely worth a visit or delivery order! Portions are filling, fresh and full of flavor. A great meal for dinner or lunch! read more

Used to love this place, just picked up food... girl at counter dropped coupons on the floor, then put them in the bag with my food... quickly as to hope I didn't notice... wonder what else may have made it to the floor and in my food. Needlessly to say, I won't be eating this tonight, and never ask for a refund and was too tired to deal with it at the location. Super bummed. read more

I paid $19.50 for my husband's order and they got it SO wrong. And the quality of my dish was so lame and it was over $20! If I knew how lame it would be from this Top Bop & what a waste of money I would of just made some tunafish salad at home with crackers! I left a very clear message for each entree and in the 'Notes' section of the initial order, none of it was paid attention to by the staff. I was hoping by giving a 20% tip and that for 2 dishes it was $40 from a place like this they would actually give me what I paid for. But nope so unfortunate I was hoping this would be one of our regular, easy & reliable places to order from. We both really enjoy this kind of food. The young lady on the phone did not seem to have any useful knowledge of the menu. And when my husband went there to pick our order up, he asked her some simple questions about the order but she it was clear she had no idea what he was talking about. We also didn't get the second sauce for my husband 's dish. I also asked for utensils to eat with and napkins we didn't receive thise either. Such a let down, very disappointing. I called the Manager/Owner (maybe) Eric he said he'd take care of it right away & get back to me but I haven't heard anything back and its been hours. ***I would like to update this review, I was just contacted at 9:30pm and informed by Eric that I will be refunded for this order. I appreciate that he took care of this, thank you Eric. BEWARE!!! I trusted Eric when he said he'd taken care of refunding my botched order but it never happened (today is May 10th)!!! read more

Simple menu & efficient system! I usually get the poke (all are great) and shrimp tempura. I also really like the miso soup here.

Great place for a quick bite to eat, portions well sized and staff is friendly. If you are the on the go type of person, they have an online ordering available too which is convenient and with many locations in town. read more

Nothing short of amazing! Great staff at the Dimond location and food was super delicious. Defiantly returning again and I ate their last night and night go back tonight again heifer they close. Such good variety of food and worth the price. read more

Underfilled bowl...like another reviewer said, when you pay for a large, you expect them to fill it. Floor is filthy. Sticky and visibly dirty - it needs to be scrubbed with a buffer. Sticking to the floor when you walk is gross. Employees were eating and seemed to think customers were an imposition. There are two other TopBop locations that are clean and welcoming; give this one a miss. read more

Nice place to grab a quick bite. After hearing such great things about this place I was so excited to try it, but was unfortunately quite disappointed. I ordered japchae and it was alright, nothing special. I will say the portion sizes are pretty big and I enjoyed the little tempura bits on top. read more

Top Bop definitely set a high bar with their flavor profiles! Came here with family for the first time and got the beef bowl level 5 and all I can say is: Wow! Whenever I go to a new restaurant I have to ask the gluten free question. The woman at the counter was really nice about it and went to the kitchen to ask. She also let me know what spicy sauce levels were ok for me to have. First bite into the beef tasted like warm soft tender thin beef jerky flavored slices (: Vegetables had great texture. Was amazed at how quickly we got our food, less than 7 minutes. Nice and clean inside. Highly recommend this place! read more

I used to order here at least once/twice a week.But something changed. The portion is so frustrating:( They used to fill up the bowl but the last 3x I went in, the bowl was only 3/4 full!!!WHY??? One of my favorite quick food spots! The poke is good, though pretty meh, especially compared to Glacier Bowl nearby. I LOVE the chicken bop. I get it with level 4 spicy sauce and two eggs. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely more of a pick up or delivery place than dine in, but worth a visit! read more

I ordered the "large" Ahi Poke bowl and it came out barely half full. Mostly white rice with a few shreds of lettuce topped with the Ahi. The fish was fresh and tasty, but for $13 at a fast food joint I expected more. read more

Overall, everyone enjoyed their food at this new Top Bop. The location is much closer to my house than the other two, so that's a major bonus. There are plenty of seats inside and parking outside. One knock was that my dish was super, super salty. I was guzzling water for quite a while afterwards ti reach equilibrium. Planning on coming back. The menu keeps changing. It's frustrating and exhausting to find your favorite dishes keep changing or removed. The menu used to have fun and exciting items but now it's just beef, fish, chicken, or noodle bop. Menu consolidation has forced my beloved Bibim Bop off the menu and to become just a "beef bop" at no reduction in price. Customers will have to pay extra for the items to make it the staple "Bibim Bop". Overall atmosphere is fun and lively. The employees are enthusiastic and cheerful. They'd be great if I only went to a restaurant for the employee interaction. read more

So I've been to this location many times and it's not as good as the other ones things tend to get forgotten here. Today I ordered the tempura shrimp, potstickers and a poke bop sauce on the shrimp and potstickers was completely forgotten and the rice in the poke mushy and it was under seasoned at the other location it's perfect I dont think I'll order from the south location ever again not till things change it just feels like a waste of money read more

Fun and fast. This place is very healthy and often has coupons on-line. I often get the poké and my son the beef bop. Both are flavorful and loads of veggies. The regular size of more than enough and the large is great for two people. The staff is quick and knows the menu well. I like a quick healthy option in south anchorage. read more

We had not heard of Top Bop until they provided food for the volunteers of the KBEAR St. Jude Children Resurch Hospital fund raiser today. We decided to go try the restaurant and it was so good. We've been trying to break out of habitual few restaurants, and saw a commercial for Top Bop while watching a sporting event (weird, because I almost never watch live, and therefore never see commercials). It looked pretty good, and a bit of research into the menu convinced us to try. I'm glad we did. Both my wife and I had Number 2 (the Chicken Bop), which comes with a teriyaki style sauce, broccoli, lettuce, cabbage and, of course, rice. My wife added an egg, which she really liked, explaining that it gave the meal a better texture. I was content with mine completely "standard." The regular portions were fairly large, but manageable. I doubt I could have finished the large. My only slight complaint, which I will ask to remedy next time, it that there wasn't quite enough rice. Oh, and the chop sticks are much nicer than the average. My wife had Thai tea with coffee bits, which turned out to be much too sweet for her tastes. She liked the flavor other than that. I tried the #7 Dynamite Bop and it was so good that I had to come back a second time later in the day!! Got 2 dumplings on top with a side of their spicy mayo. Good topping to rice ratio and the flavor is just right and the bowl is WARM! Not sure how I feel about the prices. They deliver and the eating area is spacious. 5 stars. read more

The food is good; however, the customer service was terrible. I placed an online order and when my daughter and I arrived, there were 3 employees in the back and no one said hello. Took someone about 5 minutes to acknowledge our presence and there there was no one in line ahead of us and only 2 families waiting in the dinning area for food. The employees looked disgruntled. Who eats this garbage. I don't know what "meat" I was served, but chicken was not it. Wow I don't know how this passes any health inspection. It was cold, it had salad underneath the random "meat" served, followed with rice in the bottom. Not my definition of a teriyaki bowl. I was visiting family in Anchorage for a while, and wanted to find a place to eat when I got there. I hit up a couple of my old high school buddies, Kathy and Julie, who then recommended that I try out this place. Turns out this place was amazing. They had great customer services and the food that I bought was delicious. I mean, it was really really good. Ordered their food for the first time at this location, very disappointed with the food, no consistency with the bowls, would like for the bowls to be the same at each location. Ordered the meatball #4 bowl, asked for extra sauce didn't receive it, the meatballs were dry and it had excessive broccoli and carrots, no red onions like I have gotten from the other locations. The Muldoon and Minnesota location are spot on but the south( old Seward location) need works, the same bowls are prepare totally different here and are not even comparable, will not go back to the South Anchorage location, will drive out of the way to get what i actually order. So disappointed since this new location is just around the corner from where I live. read more
