I am rating this based on the behavior I saw from the employees at the restaurant last night only! When I came back to my car from a painting class, there were about 5 employees from this establishment hanging around my car. This was around 10pm on Saturday, September 23rd 2017. One of the employees had the audacity to put their "to-go"tray on my car. When they saw me approach my car, she removed her tray and started laughing about it. All the employees were laughing about it and there was no sign of remorse. It came off so disrespectful! Again, this is not based on the service or food. I've heard great things about this place. It should be reminded to those young employees that when you have on a work uniform, you are representing the brand of your company. That should be taken seriously. It was a mistake, I get it, but I wanted to make sure that this was addressed. read more

I've been craving a good curry since we left Augusta. Top Spice hits the spot! We went for their lunch specials and ordered the massaman curry and fried catfish curry. Delicious! 2 lunch specials that comes with coconut (or vegetable soup) for 24$ including the tip. Pros: - Good portions for lunch. We had enough leftovers for 1. - Quick service - Good food for the price you pay - Best curry we've had since moving to Atlanta - Coconut soup was not overwhelming and spiced well Cons: - Parking is crowded since it shares the lot with other establishments in the Toco Hills plaza - Longer wait time for food when it's crowded. My mums was craving some Thai food this weekend. Unfortunately, Atlanta has given me Springrollphobia (fear of mediocre Thai restaurants). Now, every time I go to a new Thai place I am almost immediately skeptical. Although I've never probably had "authentic" Thai food, it's obvious when the restaurant is a fake. Thankfully Top Spice eased my cold sweats this weekend. Top Spice made us happy for these reasons: -The decor was very modern and classy. -Service was good from start to finish. -The menu had great options at fair prices. -Appetizers and meal were very flavorful. - Nothing tasted like it crawled out of the freezer. Our curries were flavorful until the last bite, but not too spicy. FYI, if you like super spicy food then this place isn't really so spicy (at least to me). -Presentation of the food was actually pretty decent for a chain restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by my visit here mainly because my expectations weren't very high, but I came out of this restaurant fully satisfied. Yumm! Not only is the food here excellent, the service is WONDERFUL. My bf and I picked up dinner to-go from this place the other night. It was sooo good. My massaman curry was creamy and flavorful. Pros: Basil rolls, fried rice - both decent, but not the best ever. Cons: Buah Mango shrimp: described as fried shrimp with a sweet and sour sauce, priced at $19.50. What we got were 6 (six!) rubbery overcooked steamed shrimp (definitely not fried) in a runny, vinegar-tasting red sauce with a few strips of mango and pepper. Awful. Charging 19.50 for 6 inedible shrimp makes me never want to return. read more

Pad see yew is my favorite!!! I usually always have leftovers when we order out, but when we get top spice I know I won't have any to eat the next day bc I gobbled it all up the night before. Food is always ready super fast and staff is quick and efficient with taking payment and getting you out of there. Otried this restaurant for the first tome based off two people recommending it. I got the shrimp Panang and it was a little to salty which threw the whole dish off. I've been twice now. I love the ambience, the staff is friendly and attentive, it's usually pretty easy to get in without any wait as well. The spicy shrimp fried rice is soooooo good! I've also had the spring rolls whicb were tasty. The first time there, my friends and I finished the evening with a khalua and coffee which was really good. They do vegetarian modifications for all dishes except the curries. Lunch specials include soup and rice and are under $10. I eat light and I had leftover to take home. I had the spicy basil with tofu. Tofu was fried, but retained the tender and soft texture. Spice was perfect, and you can get extra spice if you want. The dish was well proportioned and delicious. My friend had the cashew chicken. She thought it was a little too sweet--she would have preferred a little more spice. Ambiance is cozy and intimate: soft lighting, natural color palette of textured taupe and wood/jute accents. Seating is mostly chairs with a few half booths. Service was good. read more

I must say that My trip to this restaurant was a little dampened due to the horrific parking. The restaurant is in a shopping center with various businesses and a Publix so the parking is competitive to say the least. If I could give more stars I would. My husband and I love this place; the Panang Curry is the best we've ever had--and we've tried this dish at restaurants all around Atlanta. Service is prompt, atmosphere is clean and relaxing, and the staff is very friendly. My boyfriend and I visited this place for dinner when we were craving Malaysian food. I was pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our meal! We got the Shrimp Net Roll appetizer, and for the main course, we got the Claypot Seafood Angel Hair, Beef Rendang, and Spicy Basil Lamb. All four dishes were excellent. The waitress was very helpful and courteous and asked us the scale of spiciness for each of the dishes (1-10). I liked the ambience of the restaurant. It always disheartens me to leave a bad review , especially for thai food as it is one of my most favorite cuisines. We ordered takeout and were really excited to try this place. We ordered chicken pad thai , chicken penang curry and hot and sour soup. Let's start with the soup, it was unbelievably sour, it seemed like I was chugging straight lime juice/vinegar. Pad thai is a classic at any thai restaurant, we had also requested for the dish to be made spicy. Not only was it not spicy, it didn't have any flavor, not even the basic salt, sweet and tangy. It seemed that the noodles were doused in a really bland sauce and pieces of shrimp and chicken put on top of it. The penang curry was really meh as well. We were really disappointed with the food, all the three things we ordered were subpar .MAYBE on a rainy day, I will try some other things on the menu. Overall, meh and a waste of time. read more

I found this place out of laziness. I'd been ordering delivery from Thai Chili on Briarcliff, but since they now try to charge for 2 gallons of gas for delivery (you've cat to be kitten me right meow purrr sure) I had to find another favorite Thai belly filler upper. Well, this is it. Luckily all my favorites are better here than they are over at that other place that must deliver using 5.9 Turbo Diesel tractor trailers.. the spicy chicken coconut soup is FULL OF STUFFS and not just broth, the Thai teas are delicious, and the spicy basil fried rice.. still not quite as good as I like it (hint: mas jalapeño, por favor) but it's satisfying!
