She can't say anything with the mean face. So weird and rude . I am the regular customer and always purchase tye different kind of cake and bread right there. I bought an earl grey latte cake for my dad's birthday and my whole family enjoyed it very much. The earl grey flavor wasn't too strong and actually tasted more like green tea to me. The frosting is light, velvety, and not too sweet. They give you candles and there are matches inside the cake knife which is really neat to me. I wish the cake was a bit bigger as it was $35 and only has about 6-7 servings. Overall, I'd recommend this bakery to anyone looking for a cake that is not too rich but nonetheless delicious. read more

The breads are good but very overpriced but I guess you get what you pay for. Latte was also good because the espresso they use is strong. I recommend getting less sweet if you don't like sweet coffee. I peeked at the cakes and they are very pricey. For a small-ish cake you're looking at $37. Haven't tried the cakes so can't say if it's any good but honestly I have sticker shock. read more

The Beauty Ade "refreshers" are an overpriced soda water ($4.75!) that does not appear remotely related to the photo on the menu. Staff reply is "oh well". The kicker is that it's about 85 degrees inside, making you order this and question whether you should stay inside or go outside! Pastries are so-so. It's a short jaunt to other dessert options. I am not a fan of cakes at all, I found that their yogurt blueberry cake was very delicious on the other hand. I don't like how sweet most cakes are and how they hide the taste behind all that sugar. Yet I found myself enjoying this one with its complex tartness and slight sweetness with a moist but firm cake interior that actually tasted like blueberry rather then flavoring. read more

This Korean bakery is located inside H. Mart (near the produce section and in the food court area). I have seen this bakery before on my previous trips to H Mart but finally decided to pick up some things. While looking at all of the baked goods displayed on trays, my first impression was that the prices are bit higher than Chinese bakeries I usually frequent. After picking up about 7 baked goods (came out to $12.35 after taxes), I only tried 3 of them (family love their baked goods). I had a peanut butter bread and it was pretty good. Each bite was filled with peanut butter cream, definitely a nice treat for peanut butter lovers (which I am). I had a cheese and garlic long bread and it was also good. But my husband thought it was dry so he wasn't a fan of it (more for me). I also had this other bread that is round and filled with custard. I also liked this bread but it was a little on the dry side. My mom had this bread that was filled with nuts and she also really enjoyed it. Service was helpful. I asked the girl at the register if they had any baked goods with any nuts because my mom love those types of baked breads. The girl told me they have one filled with chestnuts and another bread that has almonds and other nuts in it. She actually walked over to show me where to find the bread with the nuts in it which was very nice of her. In the end, I think this bakery is good but the prices seem a bit pricey. I would probably stop by here again if I am shopping at H Mart and would like to try the macarons ($1.95 each prior to tax). Did you know that they have a frequent customer rewards card? However, I bet you did not know that if you don't get your card stamped by a specific stamp even though the cashier could not find the stamp on that visit, the cashier would initial your card. Also, I bet you did not know that on your next visit to the store, if the store owner happens to be there, the store owner would not give you a stamp on this visit. She will only re-stamp your prior visit. And when you ask the store owner why she did not give you a stamp for this visit, she will say to you, "that's because the prior stamp on your card was fake; you did it." That's what happened to me. First of all, I did not initial the card so that I can get closer to a free $5 pastry. Also, I can understand that she might think it's fake, but to verbally accuse me putting in the fake initial, is insulting. I have been going there for years. Avoid if you have food allergies. I recently came by to purchase some pastries. Someone in my family has bad food allergies, so of course I'm ALWAYS READING LABELS. I read the labels carefully on what I purchased here, but after eating some of the pastries, my family member got severely ill in an allergic reaction. I can only assume there was cross-contamination in the facility where these things were made. When I discussed this with the store, I got nothing but blame shifting. Stuff like, "if you have the allergy, you should be more careful." I was seeing red after talking to them. Fellow allergy sufferers, please be aware that they make their stuff in an off-site facility where it likely come in contact with nuts, among other things. None of their stuff is labeled for potential cross contamination however, so please don't learn the hard way like I did. Other than that, I guess it's fine, nothing special about them. read more

The selection was a bit smaller, maybe due to time of day, but other locations usually restock during the day as well. Service was nice, the pastries I had fresh and tasty. I love this little bakery located inside Hmart. They have pastries not offered in your typical bakery. The cream is not cloyingly sweet, there's a perfect balance of the sweet to savory. I love their pina colada smoothie, a little splash of vodka would make it perfect! Our favorites are the red bean donuts, strawberry croissant, chocolate croissant and yuzu cream danish. Overpriced, small sized breads, and though they have a fairly nice variety of different types of baked goods, nothing has ever tasted exceptionally good to me. Hands down, I prefer 85 degrees and JJ Bakery for their prices, quality, freshness, variety, and taste over Tous Les Jours. No competition. When I looked up this place on yelp to see the reviews and read Jayne L's, I automatically judged this place as a bad bakery. One day, since H Mart is the closest market from my house I went there for grocery shopping and stopped by this bakery to taste couple of their breads because they looked very appealing. I tried their soboro pastry, tuna croquette, and hazlenut cream bread. It was delicious. Customer service was also great because a young girl worker suggested those breads to me, and I liked them all. Also, I got there around night time when they were about to close, and saw the employee pack all of the left over breads into the racks so I asked where the left over breads go, and she said every morning a delivery man comes and picks them up for donation. The first packaged bread I opened was coffee bread I think I paid $2.75...it tasted like a day old bread. Outer was soggy and inside was dense. The filling inside was just wrong! All clumped up together! I literally took 2 bites and tossed it. It's $2.75 I wasted and I have bought 8 more breads. He told me the most popular choices, and admitted that he had never tasted many of them. Cake slices range from $6+, and whole cakes range $20-$30+. They do not bake in-house, and order everything from a 3rd party vendor. On the real, the slices, albeit pretty, are TEENY TINY for $6! I opted for the blueberry cheesecake. For the price,I imagined it to be the most delicious cheesecake of my life. Unfortunately, i was wrong. The consistency was thick and fluffy, and flavor underwhelming. Definitely not worth $6. Totally agree with the other reviews, place is super cute and staff is friendly and helpful but the cake, and I can only speak for their milk chocolate cake (only one I've tried), was below par. So... a friend actually brought me here over a year ago, but didn't get to try any of their pastries so when my cousin's birthday came along, and being new to the area and not knowing where the good bakeries are located yet, I searched this place out especially since I remembered how nice it looked and remember how much potential I thought it had. Now for the cake part, though cutely decorated and accessorized with a nice box, fancy stand and knife and candles, the taste factor is what disappointed (bit too sweet). Pistachio Gelato = $4. I was hesitant at first, but it tasted pretty good. It comes in a cool glass container that you can keep. It is a pretty large quantity. The only downside was that H mart was also selling gelato in the ice cream section for $3.99, but the size was bigger. I haven't tried the one in the container so I can't offer a comparison. But the gelato tastes pretty good, but maybe .50-$1 more expensive than it should be. read more

Cakes are pretty but very small and pricey ($30-40 for approximately 8" cake) and flavors are bland. Cake is too airy and is basically angel food cake with a high price tag. I've been gifted several cakes from here because of how close I live to here (coffee, lemon blueberry, chocolate) and more and more disappointed each time. I wouldn't buy from here myself. read more
