The waiter ignored us even after we intentionally tried to get his attention. He'd serve everyone but us. It was strange and rude. I am working from home since 3/2020 and this restaurant was one of my favorite restaurant, because of the wonderful, delicious Italian food but, the BEST part of this experience is maitre d/server named VINNY . Delicious Italian food! We ordered some great pasta delicious from them. Portions are really generous, and both of of us enjoyed our meals quite a bit. The gnocchi was so light and fluffy. Dessert menu was great as well. We got both the chocolate lava cake and cannolis and it was perfect. read more

Stopped by for lunch yesterday around 2pm. The weather was a little cold and damp, so may be the reason for the restaurant being nearly empty. I love that they have lunch specials. I find this part of town difficult for lunch specials at a decent restaurant - they are usually expensive places you would go for dinner (and no lunch special), or deli / pizza places - which isn't what I am looking for. Food was good (though my veal marsala was two small thin thin slicdes of veal, and I left hungry), and the penne bolognese my friend got looked great. Marsala sauce could have been thicker, it was a little on the thin side. So why only 3 stars if the food was good, albit small? Service was slow. Given that the restaurant had only 5 tablex max when we went - I was seated and waited around 7 minutes for water. They then didn't come around to take our order, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. I had to signal someone multiple times before our order was taken. And one other note - they have this huge circular bar in the middle of the restaurant. Which may seem cool - if you are there for the bar. But we were seated at a small table against the wall - the bar about 4-5 feet from us, and I can see it being uncomfortable with people walking and standing near where you are sitting. read more

Great neighborhood spot, my daughter and I come here once a week for a quick dinner. The owner Vinny is always there to give customers a warm welcome and get them anything they need. Wonderful little restaurant in Tribeca with Gluten Free options for my wife. Our server Vinny was very attentive and helped us make decisions on menu items. My Calzone was good but not overwhelmingly good. Vinny claims it is the best pizza in Tribeca but I can not confirm that. There is a full bar, though mixers are very limited. The very first time I ordered from this restaurant, my food was half cooked. My chicken was bloody and I took it back to the restaurant at the end of my shift because the owner wanted to see it. I received a refund, I hadn't gone back until today...... Myself and two of my coworkers went for lunch around 1oclock because it last close to Work. We walked in and the waitress/ bar attendant completely ignored us and when she finally came to the register, we asked her for a table and her response was 'give me a min' rudely. She should be fired because she's losing you business. Finally we got a table and was told our water will come soon, never asked if we wanted anything else to drink. On top of that, the water didn't come until our food got to the table, which they also got wrong. It took the waiters at least 15min to come to our table and another 15 to make our food and my coworkers Pennie was wrong so she had to wait another 10min. The entire experience was just unnecessary and disgusting. The food was just mediocre, nothing special about it!!!! Never again will I come here!!!! read more

We are regulars here and Vinny always takes good care of us. Tre has become our regular go to spot and of the 20 or so times we've been, no one has ever left disappointed. The food is great and the prices and portions are good. We are soooo glad Tre survived the pandemic. read more

Met a good friend for a catch-up dinner and found this place. The place has a large bar in the middle of the restaurant with tables on either side of the bar and behind the bar so it almost more bar than restaurant. When we got there, there was a large crowd at the bar (for happy hour specials) so finding a table that was out of the way of the bar took some effort. Good variety of Italian dishes - salads, pizzas, pastas, and mains. Reasonably priced as my pasta dish was $13.95 and also came with some Italian bread. We split bruschetta ($6 for 4 pieces) through the bread was a bit soggy but the tomato topping was generous and well seasoned. I had linguini with white clam sauce for my entree. Well cooked pasta, not too oily or garlicky, and a bunch of full clams. My friend got ravioli which she liked. They gave about 6-7 big ravioli which was a good portion. The service was great as the food came promptly and they were happy to let us linger and talk after we ate our meal. They also have a good selection of reasonably priced beers and wines. I have eaten here a lot and can't figure out how they keep the crust so thin and perfect no matter how many ingredients are on the Za. Easily, the best restaurant pie in lower Manhattan. Now that that's out of the way... service ranges from HORRIBLE to barely passable. It's busy, I get it. But geez. Ooh I actually really didn't like this place.. I got the Capprisiosa Pizza (large), and on the menu it sounded very appetizing, but the flavor was too tangy for my taste. Too much sauce and too many olives, I guess? I would have preferred a thicker crust and more cheese - a more soothing flavor. The garlic bread was also not up to par (too greasy) and the regular bread that comes with the order is tiny! Usually at these restaurants they're supposed to give unlimited quantity of free bread before the meal =p read more

We came here for lunch. Ordered 3 large pizzas. We ordered 1 salad for the table. The salad prices range from 8-10 depending on the toppings. We ordered ONE salad for the table, just ONE. it had a layer of arugula, with tomatoes, and some cheese. Guess how much was the salad? Nope, take another guess. $45 dollars!! Yea, I swear we paid $45 for arugula, tomatoes and cheese. We tried to reason with the waiter, but they were extremely rude. So guess what??? Extremely rude service. Aside from making a rude remark about asking for my vaccine card for the second time (after he ignored me when I showed it the first time he asked), after asking my companion's order nicely, he turns to me with a smirk on his face and says "and you??" It seems to be beyond him to serve any minority based on comments from other minority reviewers here about rude service. Did the most minimal service. And this was supposed to be my former supervisor taking me out for a delayed treat for a job change. It made the event so unmemorable. read more
