Made a reservation on open table and definitely recommend having a reservation. Very small and quaint sushi place. Love the quality. Amazing service. Will be back.

Felt the need to update my review given the last one was 2 years ago! Happy to say the place still does not disappoint. I ordered some salmon peaces to go and it was so fresh and delicious! It was about an hour from closing time but they were still busy and accepting more orders and even had a few people dining in. I'm glad to know the food is still delicious. Wish I was closer to it I would've frequented it more often.

STAY AWAY. Worst service! Very disappointed . What I ordered is not what I got I asked for cucumber wrap no rice which they did but the yellowtail roll is not like photo it's giant very oddly cut chunks As u see the photo is minced I called to to let them know if issue and they could care less First time trying I won't be going here anymore Staff was very rude Didn't take any responsibility and blamed it on Uber eats Obv Uber eats said they can't do anything and store needs to take care of it Horrible service!!! And misrepresenting

Tucked away and right off Melrose, this is spot is one of LA's true sushi treasures. The Owner Wendy is the heart and soul of the restaurant - a force of good energy who makes every guest feel like a regular. The sushi is always insanely fresh, the hand rolls are perfection, the Shishido peppers never miss and the agetashi tofu is my personal fav along with any crispy rice. The vibe is intimate but still fun - truly perfect for date night. Always sit at the sushi bar if you can! Watching the chefs work is part of the magic.

Food: Very good sushi. The baked crab. The crispy rice...all of it. I especially appreciate the soy paper option. Perfect, after a rainy shopping day on Melrose. Service: Professional, friendly and efficient. We were seated quickly...it was a quiet Tuesday night. Ambiance: Kind of dark and relaxing. Not very busy when we visited so it was nice and quiet. Getting more and more difficult to find quiet spots in the city. Enjoy this one while you can.

Came here on Valentine's Day and the food and service were superb. This was our first time here and we will definitely coming back. Everything we ordered was soooo good. Started with the Toro sashimi which was so fresh and buttery. Next a few orders of saba and hirame sushi and then a hot dish the miso cod. Portion size for the cod was very generous. Every bite was mouth watering. I also ordered the udon as I was craving soup on a cold night and the flavors and noodles hit the spot. Only downside is parking but it's expected for this area. If you can find street parking on Melrose you are a winner!

We always get the Bulgogi Fries (Fries with Cheese, Spicy Mayo, Jalapenos, a creamy salsa, onions, and LOTS of sweet bulgogi), and the Honey Garlic Wings. Also definitely recommend the original marinade or even plain (anything but boring). Seating is plentiful. Lunchtime is never too busy, which really surprised me. I love that they give us gloves. Alcohol is served too, so I think I'm gonna have to come back for a 회식 with my workplace.

I've eaten from there before. It's well cooked, juicy, with a good crunch, and light flavor. If you're gluten-free, like myself, you can only have two different sauces, and of course you have to pay for those separate. Not a fault, just an observation. Having any Sauce at all, is awesome... My complaint and withholding of a star is that The Only individual sized portions you can get is a chicken sandwich (I'm one of those dreaded * duh..duh..dunnnnn,* "Gluten-Free" peeps. After that the next size is half a chicken (to much for me to eat in a sitting.) and it Doesn't come with any sauces or sides. I'm not saying that's it's a bad price, for the amount and quality... It's absolutely fair. But an individual option, be it wings, tenders, something easy like that. Something comparable to the chicken sandwich, would be really appreciated. That's Star worthy to me. To add insult to a sour moment, I had to pay for parking... for only 3 to 4 minutes. While not truly a fault of the restaurant, it is a part of the experience, and should be noted. Lest others find themselves in a similar situation. And a final note. The manager was never anything but courteous and professional. He put up with my braty hangry behavior like a champ.

I would say the first two were hard to choose from as they're each good in their own way! My biggest highlight would be their stuffing to rice ratio was certainly so so generous. All ingredients were also so fresh and tasty, and price-to-size ratio was such great deal. They unfortunately only offer to-go option despite the space did have some tables and chairs. My first impression walking in wasn't the best because there was an unpleasant smell inside, but the food itself was good. I ordered three kinds: beef, shrimp mayo, and spam. My favorite was the spam because it was served warm and tasted really satisfying. The shrimp mayo was also very flavorful and enjoyable. I liked the beef one too, but it was very cold and crumbly, which made it a bit messy to eat. Despite a few negatives, I still enjoyed the food overall and would come back to try more items.

We arrived midday on a Sunday and we're promptly sat, having been given the option for patio or indoor. We chose the patio, and between the clematis, lantana, and olive trees it is a very lovely setting in which to enjoy a meal. We were promptly brought a bottle of cold water and glasses, and our beverage orders were taken. I had a honey lavender latte with oat milk, and my husband had Lebanese coffee (no milk no sugar.) my latte was fragrant, the perfect temperature, and just the right amount of sweet. The Lebanese coffee was smooth, floral without being perfume, and excellent. We started with the falafel and the batata harra. Both absolutely excellent. For our entrees we selected the shakshuka and the Lebanese egg pie. Both were also excellent. Everything was well cooked, well presented, flavorful without being overwhelmed by any component. We took home a baklava tart, because we simply did not have the ability to eat more at the table. It was tender, moist, not too sweet, the pistachio flavor coming through as nutty and grassy, seriously so good! And it's worth noting, this whole restaurant is gluten free. I would not have realised if I had not known ahead of time. The texture of the pita with the shakshuka was exactly what one would expect, as was the bread of the egg pie. The pastry of the tart was flakey and delicious. And having said all of that, the service is what puts it above and beyond. Everyone was warm and pleasant, and seemed to genuinely appreciate the compliments. Staff seemed like they liked their jobs, which for me is always a good sign.

The smoked salmon sandwich was probably my favorite of the savory bites. The desserts were pretty, sweet, and fit the whimsical princess tea-room aesthetic well. Nothing was overly adventurous or fusion-y, but everything felt thoughtfully prepared for an elevated afternoon tea experience. The portions were surprisingly filling by the end too! Price: Rose & Blanc is one of the more approachable afternoon tea experiences in Los Angeles. Their standard tea service starts around $38 per person, while the more elaborate tea set runs about $50 per person and includes additional stuff. Given how expensive high tea can get around LA, the pricing feels fairly reasonable, especially for special occasions like birthdays, bridal showers, or catching up with friends. Ambiance: The ambiance is probably the biggest draw here. The entire space is decorated in soft baby pink with floral accents, chandeliers, vintage-inspired décor, and elegant table settings. It feels feminine, charming (not tacky at all!) and intentionally designed for celebrations, and of course Instagram photos. Despite being located upstairs in a bustling Koreatown plaza, once you're inside it feels surprisingly cozy and transported from the busy city outside. Service: Service was friendly and attentive throughout the tea service. Staff checked in regularly, explained the tea sets, and kept things moving at a comfortable pace without making us feel rushed. Since tea service is reservation-based and served during designated seating times, everything felt organized and structured. Most servers spoke both English and Korean yay Parking: Parking is easier than expected for ktown. There's a self-parking structure available in the building, though spaces can fill up quickly during popular tea times and special events. The whole decor is cute with pink and white being the main motif of the tea room which is a stark difference from the plaza just outside. The dishware and tea sets are all so cute and the teas? Plenty of options. My wife and I tried out the pear and hibiscus teas respectively and they were just right: not too sweet. The sandwiches were great with slight asian influences to them. The pastries were my favorite though, nothing like a scone with butter and jam to go with your tea. Anyway, great teas, great food, great vibes, and great prices. What more do you need? A lot of them come in personal sizes or you can even do half and half of a pizza. That's different types of crusts and sauces so you can customize what you want too. My friend and I got the $7 draft modelos, a personal size Surf n Turf, and a Calzone. I thought everything was the perfect texture and flavor, with the crispy crust and right amount of sauce. The calzone had a little spice and came with a little side of kimchi, and the surf n turf had the "hash brown" crust that seemed to be made with sweet potato and went really well with the toppings. We went on a Saturday night but ended up being the only people in there for most of the night. I thought they were open late but they seemed to be closing early since it was so slow. I'd probably hit this place up for takeout pizza.
