    Menu, which changes daily
    Jessica H.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and asked if this was our first visit. The employee explained to us that the menu changes daily and everything is vegan or vegetarian. We'd been impressed that Guy Fierri ate here, and the chef is award winning, so we were really excited. Absolutely everything looked amazing, and it was hard to decide what to eat. Then a staffer walked by with food for another table and called out to us which dishes they were! That helped me decide on the Frida Khalo tostadas. My party included two people who haven't eaten at a lot of vegetarian restaurants, and they were very impressed. We all loved our food, it was beautifully presented, and the portions were huge. We also enjoyed the chocolate tees leches cake! This place is doing such an amazing job and I'd recommend to anyone, plant-based or not.

Delcious!!!! This is vegetarian restaurant is excellent in taste! I got the jackfruit tacos and they were ammmmazing! I am not vegetarian, and I couldn't tell this was jackfruit! The menu is always changing but there is a good selection to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful! I also bought some sage while I was there!

They have expanded the restaurant since the last time I was there. There's 3 big rooms for dining, a salsa bar, and 2 self serve water stations. There's also desserts, and gifts available. I tried the special coconut curry. It was sautéed vegetables with yellow curry a with a side of beans and rice. It was good and plenty of food. Service was great. Very friendly and quick. Parking is tough in front of the restaurant but there's parking across the street.

LOVE Tumerico! Everything is always delicious They are good about asking if vegan or vegetarian to accommodate.

Turmerico is such a gem in Tucson's food scene. I haven't been in a while since it's a bit of a schlep for me, but every time I do go, it's fantastic. The food is fresh, truly healthy, plant-based, and the portions are very generous. The staff is always kind and gracious, and the whole place has a relaxed, casual vibe--nothing pretentious. I do miss some of the variety of bowls they used to offer. Since I'm not big on "fake" meat (though the jackfruit is actually really good), I went with the veggie curry bowl, and it was absolutely delicious. My husband and daughter, who usually prefer the real meat, each chose a different jackfruit burrito, and they both really liked their dishes. And the chips and guac are not to be missed!

    Cuban and al pastor tacos

Finally made a trip out to Tucson and I have been wanting to try this vegetarian spot ever since it was ranked number 1 restaurant in the USA by Yelp in 2024. My friend ordered the cuban tacos and I got the al pastor (without cheese) - both so delicious and flavorful! We couldn't even tell it was all plant-based. The rice that it came with was good as well. Truly a gem and the workers were all so nice. Would come back to try other menu items.

As a Yelp Elite who is constantly chasing down plant-forward gems, I genuinely cannot believe I haven't written about Tumerico yet. This place is a staple for me. A regular. A comfort spot. And every single time, it delivers. Led by an award-winning chef (and no, this isn't even her only concept -- which makes it even more impressive), Tumerico is fully plant-based, vegetarian, and wildly vegan-friendly in a way that feels intentional, not trendy. Nothing feels like an afterthought here. It's creative, flavorful, and satisfying in a way that even non-vegans would appreciate. Let's talk tacos. We had the Cuban and the al pastor -- both completely vegan -- topped with this dreamy cashew crema that just ties everything together. Savory, layered, balanced. You don't miss a single thing. Add in a solid salsa bar and you're building bites exactly how you want them. And the lattes? Generous. Like actually generous. Around $6 and you're getting full, flavorful cups -- matcha, horchata lattes, spicy options, creative twists. Not watered down. Not tiny. They don't skimp. They've also got a rotating selection of vegan bakery treats that make it way too easy to justify "just one more thing." The vibe is unfussy, colorful, community-driven -- the kind of place where you can pop in for a casual lunch, bring a friend who "doesn't usually do vegan," or sit solo with a latte and feel completely at home. Tumerico isn't trying to prove anything. It just quietly serves some of the best plant-based food in Tucson. Five stars. Always.

I was really excited to try this spot when it popped up on my search. I was out with my dogs and looking for a dog friendly spot- I was surprised when they said I could sit anywhere with them. The dining area is quite large with multiple rooms. The woman helping me order was super friendly and explained the menu very well. I ordered the tamale plate off their regular menu. The tamale was moist and spicy! The greens had such a great texture and the beans were some of the best I've had. They also have a salsa bar with 4 salsas of varying spices.

We were 8 hungry runners and we all loved our meals. The service is very fast and efficient. They took our order when we walked in and we found lots of seating options even for our large group on a Saturday at 6pm. The place is comfortable and very spread out without it feeling like everyone is seating on top of each other. I ordered the Salma Hayek burrito (as did three others) and it was delicious. I loved the rice and beans and salad also. I also had the horchata and wished I had gotten one to go.

What an amazing restaurant! Clean, cool, extensive thoughtful menu and incredible service. Super helpful staff guided us through the menu since everything sounded good. We went with recommendations of the delightful young lady who helped us and we weren't disappointed. We ordered the Cuban tacos, the tamales, cardamom latte and a veggie juice blend. Everything was absolutely delicious! Presentation was beautiful! The tacos: flavor packed! The tamales: wow! The masa is so elegant and refined. Absolutely delicious with nothing lacking. The level of thoughtful care and pride that goes into the food is evident, we felt it and thoroughly appreciate it and enjoyed every.single. bite! The drinks were a treat and luxurious as well. We cannot praise the staff enough for the smiles, welcoming and engaging spirit they offer. This makes such a difference and is so appreciated. We can't wait to return and try each offering on the menu, one at a time. We later realized that Tumerico and La Chiateria are sister restaurants. We had the same incredible memorable experience and meal there too. Don't miss enjoying a meal at one or both of these lovely restaurants.

It's crazy that this restaurant has been open for 12 years and we had not visited before!! I have to say this is by far one of favorite Mexican places to eat now. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was fast and super friendly. Will definitely be back to try something new and bring family and relatives. My husband loved that there was FREE COFFEE..... lol

    Frida Kahlo Tostadas (so good)

"This doesn't even taste like vegan. It just tastes good." -- my meat-eating mother-in-law said it best. We loved our lunch at Tumerico in Tucson -- it was delicious, interesting, and left us feeling satisfied without feeling heavy. The menu is entirely vegan, with options to add cheese (and eggs at breakfast), which makes it easy for mixed-diet groups. We tried the cactus tacos, Cuban taco (jackfruit), and the Frida Kahlo tostadas -- which were the clear winner at our table, especially the crispy, veggie-loaded tostada. So flavorful and satisfying. The house-made horchata and turmeric lemonade were both excellent, the guacamole was delicious, and the salsa bar is a great bonus. Friendly staff, quick service, and chips + guac arrived almost immediately. We'd definitely go back.

Enjoyed lunch here today. The only issue is it gets super loud so it is very difficult to carry a conversation The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is very clean. My food was delicious... I can't stand it when the bathroom doesn't have a hook for my bag....

    Carnitas and Tacos. Delicious!

Where are dogs allowed? Is there a patio? How many tables are dog friendly?

Puede pedir que les pongan mesa afuera. Igual los perros si son permitidos dentro del restaurante. Aman a los perros. Yo he ido con el mio.

Is there a liquor license and if not, can I BYOB!?

I don't believe so! I don't know with 100% certainty, but they don't sell alcohol and I've never seen anyone drinking.

Do you serve breakfast all day?

Not really. If they have ingredients for something later in the day, they will sometimes make it. But, in my experience, this is hit or miss.

How well is the sanitation, especially during this pandemic?

Visited the restaurant couple of days and I feel they were taking good care maintaining the precautions due to covid. The restaurant was very clean, , staff and patrons were wearing masks and tables were cleaned after the table was used.

Do they have gluten free options?

Yup almost anything can be made gluten free with a corn tortilla or even no tortilla. They are very mindful of all allergies

What kind of prices ? Do they have lunch specials?

Very reasonable pricing. Menus change daily, so every day is special.

Is Tumerico large enough to accommodate a party of 9 or 10? I don't want to overwhelm or take up all the tables.

Yes, Wendy would be happy to serve. We hosted a 25 person event there and she is delightful to work with.

When is the brunch menu available?

The brunch menu is available every day upon opening.

Assuming this is mostly a lunch place?

This place is for breakfast lunch and dinner!! Breakfast is awesome! Dinner is only on weekends sadly.

The food was amazing and the service was top-tier. Our waiter was friendly, funny, and great. We had the best dinner here during our trip to Tucson. First off, the whole menu sounds incredible but you just can't go wrong. We picked the following tapas: LAS FAVORITAS (Dates stuffed with Spanish chorizo, wrapped in smoked pork) PULPO FERIA (Octopus, fingerlings, chili oil, parsley, chimichurri and greens) TOREADOS (Seared shishito peppers, lemon, herbs, chicharrón) ALCACHOFAS (Grilled artichokes, goat cheese, orange zest, and mint) And for the paella: MARISCOS Grilled squid, prawns, mussels, clams, and saffron For dessert, we got the tres leches. The cake was so soft and drenched in delicious cream. I'm really not kidding when I say everything we got was delightful. I can't pick a favorite, get them all! The seafood paella is a true highlight--rich, aromatic, and packed with perfectly cooked seafood that brings depth and authenticity to every bite. It's the kind of dish that feels both comforting and elevated at the same time. The cauliflower croquetas are just as impressive--crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and full of flavor. Even if you're not usually drawn to cauliflower, this dish easily wins you over. Dessert was unforgettable. The churro y plato was absolutely amazing, with warm, crispy churros paired with indulgent dips that made it hard to stop at just one bite. Service was stellar throughout the entire meal--attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced, which really elevated the overall experience. One small drawback was the seating. With a reservation, it would have been great to have the option to select outdoor seating ahead of time. The patio atmosphere looked inviting, and having that choice during booking would really enhance the overall experience. Overall, Contigo Latin Kitchen stands out for its flavorful dishes, excellent service, and thoughtful preparation--definitely a spot worth returning to.
