    Zucchini with lemon zest pizza
    Cairo R.

This is a hole in the wall kind of pizza joint located in Union Square. The staff is very friendly and some of the pizza flavors seem interesting and different. One that I ordered was the zucchini with lemon zest white pizza. I also ordered the pepperoni and burrata but I was less than a fan of this one because the pepperoni proved to be very greasy. The slices are also a little more on the costly side as they are around $7.50 each.

Different but good. Pizza is all the same until this place best selection of slices ever. I have eaten a few all good. I never actually been here it's a lunch spot for work someone picks up but none the less it amazing pizza for a good price.

This review is strictly for their vegan slice - there are two options, one that was a margherita and a "veggie fiesta" which was essentially a vegetable pizza. While most vegans do enjoy vegetables, not all vegan options have to be so vegetable forward. It would be nice to have a slice that mimics what most people who eat pizza enjoy - a vegan pepperoni slice (maybe with "hot honey" agave) or even a bbq chick'n. Service was quick and friendly, had a short wait for my slice but I was grateful to have it fresh. I opted for the veggie fiesta which was advertised as having a cherry tomato confit - it wasn't really a confit, it was whole cherry tomatoes that hadn't been cooked down very much. The vegan cheese they used wasn't particularly good, I was attempting to scrape it off while salvaging the rest of the toppings. It was also a bit steep for a slice but I'll give them a break because I assume rent is steep around Union Square. Was it filling? Sure. But the standard for vegan pizza has to be higher than this, their non-vegan slices looked incredible so I wish this matched.

Not your regular slice, as the name suggests and even though I'm usually not a fan of the square-style pizza, this one didn't disappoint. I really like the variety on the menu, and they're generous with the toppings, which is always a win. The prosciutto burrata pizza was my favorite! If I had one minor complaint, it's the sauce felt a little overpowering. Some bites felt like a full-on tomato explosion in my mouth. Still, overall, a solid spot for a great slice with quality ingredients and flavor.

Took myself on a solo date the other day to see Jurassic World: Rebirth I was looking for a sandwich spot to have a snack at the theatre and I came across Unregular Pizza. This place has been on my list! I order the vodka parm on a croissant. This sandwich was EVERYTHING! Buttery, cheesy, the perfect amount of sauce. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. I'll definitely be back for the sandwich and the pizza. Service was amazing as well. The person that helped me was kind and welcoming.

Great casual pizza spot with bigger than most square slices. Unregular pizza has the type of toppings you want in a casual setting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is limited seating inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The slices are deceptively filling, especially if you get the Barada so warning that two might get you to being full more than you think as someone who's accidentally ordered three slices for a lunch day Service is pretty standard for a pizza joint in the city. Recommend trying the spot at least once their unique flavors and the heftier square slices are worth a try.

So inefficient and more concerned with taping for their unstaffed than basic service.

Unregular Pizza, located in Union Square, excellent location, small shop, nice selection of pizza - meat/ veggie/ vegan/burata / pepperoni Staff is so friendly and accommodating. Top notch. I chose the prosciutto and burrata slice. The crust was a nice and crispy but the flavors were a bit off. The sauce was too saucy. I would maybe try a different flavor next time but I'm not in any rush.

A spot for really unique pizzas! I tried the Burrazuchini slice -- the crust was great, but it had a bit too much burrata and not enough seasoning for my taste. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a very small place with no seating, fitting only about 4-5 people inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Stopped in for some pizza. I tried the zucchini pizza with burrata. The slice was huge and filling. However if zucchini is not seasoned properly there's not much of a taste but overall the pizza was not bad. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a counter where you can stand and enjoy your pizza.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a lot of pizza options and other goodies as well. The worker was super friendly and her vibe was perfect. I would definitely go back to try a different slice. The mushroom one seemed popular.

I've been here twice now and enjoy the colorful, cheerful atmosphere. It's standing room only with a counter for those who would like to eat in the establishment. The place has many unique pizza flavors, as well as stromboli, fried pasta, and sandwiches. They even have a delightful looking Nutella pizza. The first time, I had the Pepperoni Stromboli ($5), which was wonderfully cheesy, full of well seasoned pepperoni, while the bread was soft and doughy. I also got to try the Special pizza flavor of the month, which is Ossobucco Milanese ($8). This consisted of beef ossobucco, gremolata, saffron sauce, along with Mozzarella. I enjoyed the beef, which was tender, full of bold flavor. The saffron sauce added a nice element to the slice, but would have liked more melty cheese. The crust was light and crisp. Service was warm and friendly. Prices were a little high, but ultimately worth it. I would come back to try the Meat Dream, Burrapizza Cafonata and Chicken Out pizza slices, as well as the Cacio E Pepe Fried Pasta.

    Qiongqiong M.

I stopped by after work bc the pizza looked delicious. Picked one of the most expensive ones bc it looked delicious. It was good but not sure if it was worth the price. Not much of service stood there ate it. Not sure if I would come back again

Feb 19,2026, went to try their pizza since I was in the area prior to attending the Winter Film Festival and to my surprise was not impressed at all. I had like a veg Roman pizza and the sauce was tasteless. Will not be back. The garlic square bread was not properly seasoned . [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is no sitting and very narrow.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I travel a lot and go to many restaurants, pizza restaurants etc. I always give me reviews for others to know.

This was my first time seeing one with roasted duck though. Just a heads up that the street felt a bit sketchy even though it's near the edge of Chinatown. The mala aioli was quite spicy, but not overpowering or lingering. The crispy shallots added such a nice crunch too which I loved! *Duck Tsangwich $16 I was quite surprised that the roast duck skin stayed crispy! The crackly cookie topping could've been thicker since it was pretty flat. They give you chili oil on the side, but it was already super flavorful with the hoisin sauce. ((4.5 stars)) Sunny…read moreand Annie's is very much a 24/7 neighborhood gem of a corner store and deli. it's packed with packaged foods--candy, chips, cookies, ice cream, soft drinks, beer, and a lot more plus the deli counter serves ups an endless list of creative sandwiches. i am not going to say this place is cramped but it kinda is. for example, if people stand in the wrong areas of the store, it will cause a complete standstill of a traffic jam in the store. my advice: order from the deli (and stand somewhere people aren't trying to get to) or grab whatever you need, pay, and leave. this place is not a place to linger. keep it moving. anyway, the obvious draw of Sunny & Annie's is the endless list of sandwiches that are handwritten cards that are stuck outside glass of the deli counter. there is literally something for the pickiest eaters--from hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, wraps, and more. some sandwiches are named celebrities, politicians, etc. i have ordered a bunch of different sandwiches and have not made it through much of the menu. you can also create your own Frankenstein monster of a sandwich. while the sandwiches are a big part of the draw, the insane amount of snack foods crammed into the store is quite remarkable from the large stand of Doritos, Takis, Cheetos and other popular branded snack foods in the front to the separate stand of Wise snacks to an entire back corner of the store filled with all kinds of chips, popcorn, etc. imo, Sunny's has the freshest-tasting Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn. i know an insane take consider it's a packaged popcorn snack from a megacorp (PepsiCo), but i'll die on this hill. maybe it's cause Sunny's sells a lot of Smartfood popcorn so it gets refreshed often, maybe they have a secret in/pipelinbe from the factory, or it's just magic/alchemy. i don't know, but the Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn never tastes stale-ish like it does at grocery stores, the bags never feel deflated because they have been on shelf long, and the popcorn never has that soft mouthy feel but still has the crunch to it. maybe it's just me, but Sunny's serves a great list of sandwiches...AND the freshest Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn. beyond the snacks, the service from the deli to cashier is upbeat and friendly. in all seriousness, Sunny and Annie's is an Avenue B institution at this point and remains a charming family-owned store--and is NOT a sterile modern clone of a neighborhood business.

Every visit reminds you why Parisi has survived since 1903 while trends and neighbors came and went. Let's talk about The Dennis--the undisputed star and a true signature sandwich. This thing is a monster, built on Parisi's legendary fresh-baked bread that somehow stays crisp, chewy, and perfect no matter how much goodness gets piled inside. You get a crispy breaded chicken cutlet layered with thin-sliced prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, and (if you know what you're doing) roasted red peppers. It's all brought together with their house balsamic blend and basil herb spread/pesto--bright, savory, and completely addictive. I cannot confirm or deny that the sandwich is named after me, but I can confirm it's flawless. Pro tips: * Cash only, old-school rules apply. * Come hungry or plan ahead--this sandwich is big enough to share or save half for later, and it still eats beautifully round two. * Tip the sandwich makers. These folks are artists, and the tip box deserves some love. Beyond the food, Parisi is living New York history. From its origins as an Italian bakery on Mott Street, to feeding generations of locals, to being famously beloved by Frank Sinatra (yes, the bread was shipped to California), this place is woven into the fabric of Little Italy/Nolita. Legends like De Niro and Scorsese are fans, and you can still feel that old-world soul--right down to the original brick oven relic resting in the basement. Parisi isn't just a deli. It's continuity. It's tradition. It's proof that when you do one thing incredibly well for over a century, people keep coming back. And once you've had The Dennis, you will too.
