    Chicken Bowl, broccoli and carrots

Chicken bowl was good chicken cooked perfectly and WaBa sauce is delicious. Clean restaurant and staff friendly as well.

I found a hair on my bowl, when I brought it up to the cashier's attention in a polite manner she made a face and walked to the cook's attention. The cashier was not wearing a head cap, and was bothered. I hear here making a comment about why i brought up the plate if I was almost done?. No apologies were ever made, she fixed a smaller plate and continued to clean. Terrible customer service as they continued to bad mouth us.

casual weekday dinner search...looking for something quick and easy...finding waba grill across the street from the hyatt and marriott hotels...strip mall location and low-key...no line to the order counter...taking the waba plate (chicken & steak) $14.49 and a drink $2.99...choice of sauces and taking the waba sauce...similar to teriyaki sauce...about 10 minutes and called...small side salad was fresh and decent...potstickers were average and could have been cooked better...the chicken over rice was decent...the "steak" did not look appetizing...thin and dark strips of beef...looked almost like jerky and cooked to death...don't get the steak....other than the steak, the meal was average, but not really worth the price...

I was really disappointed as this was my first time trying out Waba Grill and had high hopes! The customer service was great, and she was really friendly. We went out to lunch yesterday 7/17/2023 around 12:30pm ish, not sure but its timed on the receipt I added below.... I could not believe my eyes when I saw the $16.00 plate of just White Rice and Steak??? You can clearly see from the picture that it barely had any meat on there. I know I should of gotten veggies, but I decided to opt out and just try the meat and rice! I was super disappointed at the price and the quantity of the food! The quality of the food was okay, nothing out of this world.. The inside was nice and had a homeless guy sitting in there with all his stuff, so it was kinda weird eating and just him staring at us asking for cigarettes' Over all, I don't think we will be visiting again!

This took 25min+ to heat up...

Terrible service from Patty and Ricardo. Receipt says Jesus, which is incorrect. Ordered a (only ONE!!) mini bowl and waited over 25min. Ridiculous, didn't even offer an apology, they were to busy making a big order for a hand written receipt. (Read below) Patty was helping me, and when someone from a deliver service came, she ignored me and I stood there while she took their order on a post it sticky note, (seems like they are giving away free food) That doesn't even sound right, it's a delivery driver! Business owner should be cautious. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I can't remember the last time I left a review, but I felt strongly about this terrible service 10/30/23 at 6:07pm.

Service was okay just had to order my food. Pricey for a bowl of rice. Not enough chicken for $10.

"digital service fee" how ridiculous, never coming back

Its disgusting that they charge you to use the app. Congrats, now you lost my business. Read their response, they don't get it.

The steak and chicken combo bowl. Pathetic. This is what I get upon opening the lid.

The puff bread was a bit too flour-y for me but I loved the honey butter it came with. I really hope the crab roe spaghetti stays on the menu because it was delicious, great portion, and had amazing crab flavor. The pasta was also well cooked and sauce not too creamy. The berry part of the matcha berry tiramisu was the strongest so I didn't detect matcha as much. They were kind enough to provide a small slice of chocolate cake a la mode with a candle for the birthday and it was actually a great balance of flavor, not being too rich or heavy in chocolate. I would order this again separately as a solid fudge sundae. The beef carpaccio, squid ink uni pasta, spicy miso carbonara, mentaiko pizza, and sticky toffee pudding are still solid as usual. Came back yet another time, and got the beef carpaccio because I just love the truffle flavor, the two sauces, and the arugula/apple bites in between. The only improvement would be smaller slices to make it easier to eat since the larger ones are hard to pick up. The crab roe spaghetti I had to get again for the summer menu in case they decide not to keep it for fall/winter because the crab flavor is so good. My friend ordered the seafood malfadine which I was apprehensive about considering my previous experience but WOW I was surprised by how different it was this time around because when I tried a bite, they REALLY turned it around. I'm so grateful my friend decided to order it because after trying theirs, I might start ordering it again for myself now. Not sure if I had it on an off day previously or they changed the recipe but it now is actually as flavorful as the spicy miso carbonara and might actually be even better. The sausage flavor actually adds a lot of richness without being heavy or overpowering, the spice is a good kick without being actually spicy, the shrimp is delicious, but I kept going back for the sauce. INI Ristorante is one of very few restaurants I consistently keep coming back to instead of trying other new spots in the area because I can't choose my favorite out of so many good things on the menu and just want them all so I need to come with bigger groups or rotate each time I visit. A great problem to have. Their dishes are innovative, pack full flavor, and are unique enough to not find elsewhere. I never have to worry about finding parking and I love being able to reserve in advance since it gets busy. They're the spot I keep bringing friends and family to.

I had my usual: the cheese bread, calamari, and uni pasta. The cheese bread and calamari were still as amazing as they've always been. For the uni pasta, though, I actually prefer the old recipe over the newer squid ink version. My daughter and her boyfriend tried the spicy miso carbonara and, I think, the seafood mafaldine. They seemed to really enjoy both. Service was great, and there was also plenty of parking, which is always a plus. Still a solid spot, especially for the cheese bread and calamari!

Sona Fusion Kitchen!…read more Located in a shopping plaza that both has businesses that have been there for ages, but has more switch over businesses. Currently I have seen the restaurants that pop up in this location, ive seen it at least 6 different things. I will say Sona is the first one that actually caught my eye to try, and I am super happy that I decided to come here during my lunch break. The pictures I uploaded are just the few other times I have come here. As someone said it best in one of the reviews, a Vox dupe. One thing they do have over Vox kitchen, most times there is no wait, at least the few times I have gone. There is plenty of parking, never had an issue. They are also open late which to get this kind of food at that late or early times, thats a damn treat! Inside always kept clean, the staff that work there are very friendly and on top of things. They checked up on us in a timely matter, cleaned tables as soon as diners left. The food came out pretty quickly too. Here is what I have had: Spicy Shrimp Wontons - These were good but I felt like they could have been better, mind you I had these not too long after they opened, seeing recent reviews it seems like this could have gotten better, I will try these again and update. Regardless they were still good! Lomo Saltado Shaken Fries: Each time I have gotten them has been the filet mignon, why because each time I have had them it has been too good, cooked perfectly for a nice texture, seasoned well that it doesnt over power other things, but more so compliments but uppercuts the tonsil to let you know its got beef with you. Now I have had this with rice and garlic noodles. I recommend going garlic noodles because they are delicious, lots of garlic! You know what compliments garlic very well....STEAK! I have said one thing Vox has on them with this dish, is Vox french fries are still super crispy even with sauce on them. I will say the last time I ordered this dish (last week) each time they have gotten better with the crunch! I will try the other proteins offered in due time! Golden Pear Salad: Delicious! Now I can't tell you if there serving size of this salad is bigger at Vox, but eating the salad totally made me forget about it. I am half lactose...my stomach decides what or when I will react to dairy, but that burrata cheese mixed with everything in the salad, it needs that creamy cheese to hold the sweetness and pepper like from the arugula. I will say I didn't dodge the burrata cheese and luckily it never got me, so huge win win! I also want to say I think its cheaper here than the vox, so its more manageable to always have this to start before the entrees. Signature Vietnamese Pho - Wife ordered this last visit with wagyu brisket, pretty solid bowl of pho. Is it my favorite no, but its better than a lot of others places I have been too. I think it will easily be a hit for tourists going to disneyland that has never tried Pho. In conclusion, Sona Fusion Kitchen has been a place that myself and the wife will crave. It also has been a easy recommendation for any one at work to go try. I know I have a few co-workers that have been multiple times now. For anyone at Disneyland looking for a place to eat, come through! I want all the business to support Sona but at the same time I enjoy not having to wait to be seated! Feast Well Fellow Yelpers! TLDR: A pretty dang delish Vox dupe!…read more Sona Fusion Kitchen has been described as a crossover between Vox Kitchen and Sup Noodle Bar since they share the same signature dishes. We tried their Spicy Shrimp Wontons and Golden Pear Salad to start as well as the Lomo Saltado with Filet Mignon as the protein. The Spicy Shrimp Wontons were solid. They were tossed in a spicy sauce with scallions and were a cute start to the meal. The Golden Pear Salad really surprised me! It featured burrata, pear, arugula, honey roasted walnuts, and balsamic vinaigrette. I loveee when a salad incorporates fruit and has a tang! Lastly, their Lomo Saltado was soooo good. Crispy fries, fragrant onions, tender beef, and a killer green sauce- it checked off all the boxes for me!

Everything was creatively planned and decorated. It was also very clean and spacious inside and out. When you go in, there's a tea sampling station with the menus so you can see which tea you would like to order. Our server was really sweet, but she was the only one serving all of the tables, so she would come by every 10-20 minutes to check on us and some things we asked for didn't make it to the table. If they had more servers, customers would be happy with quicker service. The food and tea were delish! There were 6 of us so we shared a bunch of different teas. I really enjoyed the teas they had. The sweet and savory treats were really yummy! I really enjoyed them. Each person got 5 little savory treats and 4 sweet treats. I kind of wish we got one or two more for $45, but either way they were delicious! We had a great time and were sad to learn that the business will be permanently closing down tomorrow (6/28/26), I would have loved to continue going back!

The soup was good but was a little light on ingredients, the papaya salad was decent with a little kick, noodles didn't really have much truffle taste but was ok, green beans were crunchy and probably the best dish here, and the mango sticky rice was not ripe. Most of the mango pieces were hard / not sweet and proportion to the rice was off. The staff was friendly and the space is very open and welcoming. Not sure if I'd come back though unless I was craving the Asian fusion tea service.

I LOVE THIS PLACE…read more Don't let the simple decor fool you - the chicken here is hands down one of the best hole in the wall locations for chicken that I've been to. Unlike your typical rotisserie or fried chicken, this place roasts their chicken in a large clay pot and the marinade is definitely not something that you can find easily. The smell of the chicken is so inviting on its own but you won't be able to smell it outside of the restaurant - gather some confidence and open that door! We got 1 whole chicken, bot chien, crispy rice, and a side of dry noodles. All of the sides are great - I've tried at least 1 option every time I come back here but my favorite is the dry noodles and crispy rice. Their chicken pairs TOOO WELL with the pickled veggies and their special soy sauce. I like mixing a little salt, pepper and lime in mine to make it extra sour but honestly, the chicken is great even without the sauce. It's a small restaurant and flagging down servers is not difficult but I love that they will come to check in on you pretty often without you putting out any effort. I've been here when it was super busy and when it's a little more free, the servers are nice, friendly & really responsive Pro tip : get more than 1 soy sauce!! You DEFINITELY will not be sharing it!

I either crave Spring rolls, Banh khot, Oxtail pho, egg rolls or egg noodle soup, viet wings and there's still many more things to try! One of my friends I met at personal training asked me out to lunch. We always eat well and this place was already on my list so I was game! Came in at a perfect time, right after a lunch rush. Sat down looked over the menu, pretty straightforward. Service was lovely, a little bit of language barrier but good nonetheless. We started with the Bot chien ( crispy rice cake with egg.) She asked if there was pork in the dish and they said no, she can't eat pork. It came out and it looked fantastic, looked like an omelet. I love eggy dishes! This was fantastic, definitely add a sauce like Sambal or Sriracha. We were off to a great start! But we came for the star of the show, Clay jar chicken with dry noodles!!! They set the bowls down and everything looked fantastic and smelled even better! A generous bowl of egg noodles, chicken and a side of broth in case you want to dip or just throw it in the bowl. We got to grubbin and it was instant love at first bite! The chicken was so tender and flavorful. We noticed these little cubes of tasty bits, we didn't know what they were because we didn't see it on the description, she already had a piece, we thought it was some sort of crispy bread crumb bits LOL. We asked the service and come to find out, it was crispy pork called Top Mo. We told them she can't have pork, they took the plate back. After a few minutes they came back. She asked is it a new dish or did you just pick them out. They picked them out. This is where the language barrier came into play. They didn't understand for a bit. I said she can't have pork because of her religion. That's when it clicked! Thank the Lord! Out came a fresh porkless new bowl and she could enjoy with me. They should've given me her previous bowl to go LOL I'm the pork Queen LOL. Overall a fantastic meal and I've been thinking about this meal for awhile. I need a reunion stat!!! Just so many good Vietnamese dishes in the area, it's hard to choose! I will be back!!!

The hours never really worked with our schedule either being from 8:30 am to 2 pm. We started off with the Ube Sweet Cream Cold Brew ($7) and Pandan Cold Brew ($7). My bf absolutely loved the ube cold brew and said it was probably the best he's ever had. He loved it so much that he got another one to-go after we finished our meal so that was a rare occurrence lol. The ube flavor was strong even after everything was mixed together. Smooth, creamy and tasty. My pandan cold brew was also pretty good. Usually I feel like pandan is difficult to get a real robust flavor and you end up tasting more coffee than pandan. I could actually taste the vanilla/nutty notes and coconut flavor. Also very yummy after mixing it all together. Cold brew flavor did end up coming out stronger tho but I somewhat expect that. We ordered the Adobo Rice Omelet ($14.95 - Chicken-adobo garlic rice wrapped in a three egg omelet, topped with adobo gravy, fried garlic & scallions) - This was really tasty and kind of heavy for me. Sooo much rice under the omelette bed lol. I was beyond stuffed and couldn't take another bite at the end and ended up packing like 2 bites in a small box. My bf ordered the Jeepney Breakfast Burrito ($14 - Crispy golden potatoes, melted cheese, chipotle aoli, scrambled eggs. Your choice of meat, served with a side of pork chicharron and Sinigang Salsa verde) - This was soo delicious. The chicharron side was a great crunch and sinigang salsa verde with the burrito made it even better. It was over the top for our bellies already with the heavy breakfast, but I still insisted that we try a regular breakfast item like french toast. Ordered the Ube Fruity Pebble French Toast ($16.95) and it was yummy! I definitely needed more fruity pebbles but that's my preference. Staff was friendly and prompt. The place was packed and I had joined the waitlist online prior to coming. Waited less than 10 min when we actually arrived. I also loved the decorations everywhere with the foliage, light fixtures and even the ceiling fans. The Tagalog vocab on the chalkboard is also fun to read and learn. I like that there's still a modern feel to the place.

What a great little spot for lunch! The entire staff was attentive, friendly, and welcoming. I ordered the Silog Breakfast Bowl with longanisa, and wow--I could honestly eat this again and again! It was so satisfying and flavorful that I'm already looking forward to having it again. The only thing to note is that the music can get pretty loud at times, making it a little difficult to hear your conversation. Other than that, we had a really enjoyable experience and would happily come back!
