Came here for brunch after our first choice was too busy. This popped up on Yelp and we thought we would give it a shot. They were busy but sat us right away. Our waitress was prompt to the table and friendly. Coffee was hot and tasty...we needed it badly! After much deliberation, I got a Belgium waffle with strawberries. It was DELICIOUS. Went with my Mom this morning. Seated quickly, drink orders taken and brought out quickly. I ordered the Ranchers Omelet and Mom got the Benedict! Country fried style potatoes were perfect, omelet was packed and not too much of an egg overload, eggs were perfect on the Benedict, and ham was huge! However today I ordered the strawberry waffles and not only did they come out looking like red mush but they were extremely sour. I let my server know the strawberries are sour and her response was "oh I'm so sorry about that, we just never know if they are going to be fresh or not". My jaw almost hit the floor. How do you not know if what your serving everyday is going to be fresh or not. That comment alone made me sick to my stomach. On my way to a golf tournament, I stopped by here for some breakfast. It was midweek, and the place was pretty empty. Good sized menu, I ordered the biscuits and gravy, I thought it was great. Fast service, polite staff. Only thing I can say was a drawback, it has quite a bit of country type decorations, in every corner of the restaurant, but at least they're keeping to their theme. I go there every single morning before before work the food is reasonably priced the only thing or reason why I'm giving it three stars there are two waitresses in the morning one is named tiara she's fantastic even when there's a rush she make sure that you get what you want and is very polite and has a very good manner the other one she's a real skinny waitress she acts like she's on crack she basically comes to the table doesn't make any social comment takes the order doesn't come by a second time to see if everything's okay brings the food and just basically puts it in front of you and walks away you feel rushed when you're looking at the menu and when there's a crowd she bracely goes into panic mode she's not my favorite waitress but Tiara is I go to the waffle Farm because I don't want to drive into Lincoln for breakfast I usually give Tiara a larger tip because she knows how to serve people. She make sure that you are very happy after eating if you're the owner in reading this tell the other waitress she needs to slow down and stop acting like she's on crack whenever there's a lot of people to serve. So I said something our waitress came back with two new OJs that were right on. Next I ordered some waffles, eggs and crispy hashbrowns. The hash browns came flat and were very greasy so I said something. The hash browns were taken back and again and they came back perfect. We made our first visit to the Waffle Farm 8-26-14 for breakfast. It was recommended to us by our neighbors, so we gave it a try. We had a very pleasant waitress. We told her it was our first time there and she mentioned the frequent diner card to us. Our meal was out to us very quickly, which was awesome. We did kinda lose our waitress after the food arrived and I was a bit disappointed that she didn't say "thanks for coming in and we hope to see you again," but oh well...can't have everything! I have gone here for years. I have always enjoyed the great service and quick food preparation. The food has been great. Today, I went there with my children and mother and the service was awful. They forgot part of our food and when I looked for the waitress I wasn't able to find anyone to ask about the rest of our food. I was a little surprised because as a large party the expected tip would be substantial. I expected better service. Well, the answer came when the bill included a large tip as part of the bill. The tip amount was not an optional amount. I usually tip at least 20% and to have a tip forced on me for awful service is just difficult to tolerate. I will not return there ever again.
