This was a needed addition to the dim sum scene. A affordable, good quality, no frills, lots of variety place that is family run.

Came here for the first time and the experience was quite miserable. We ordered 7 dishes total, and got 4 in the beginning. We checked with the staff to confirm we would get the remaining dishes, which they said we were missing 2. We went back to our seats not realizing we were supposed to get 3, until we checked out order again. We went back to tell them we were missing 3, but before we can finish saying this; one of the staff grew angry and impatient, and yelled at us saying "we are already making the 2". Avoiding an argument we talked to a nicer staff member who helped us confirm that we were missing a third dish. Upon receiving our remaining 3 dishes. Two of which were the meatballs. The mean staff member (who is nicer now) brought the order to us. One dish of the meatballs stuck to the bottom of the other dish. So when the staff placed it on the table, the stuck meatballs touched the surface of the table. The staff realizing the mistake said she will exchange it for us and mumbled "the table is clean". She proceeds to place the meatballs back into a new tray and puts them in the heating unit to keep them warm, instead of disposing them. They did not serve that soiled dish to us, but whoever comes after and orders the meatballs will likely become a victim to horrible hygiene regulation. The quality of the dimsum overall was quite mediocre. The the buns were overheated and dried (likely a dish that has been reheated). The rice inside the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf was sour. The meatballs and chicken feet were the only fresh and tasty dish. If you are thinking of trying this place for the first time, I highly recommend that this is not your first choice or your last. read more

Stopped by for some dim sum today and so far I like this place. It's located at a convenient location, food is fresh, and the store is clean. Very friendly staff as well. In terms of pricing, I also feel that it is very reasonably priced. The quality of the food was fresh too (ha gow, sesame ball)... can't speak for other items in the menu. Delicious dim sum! I was surprised to see how crispy the deep fried dumpling was and the shu mai was my husbands favorite.

Don't expect fantastic dim sum, it's just ok. But I have to say the portions are above average. The sesame balls were huge. The chicken feet were more sweet than other places, I had better. The siu mai was pretty pathetic looking. The fried crispy taro was too fatty. I mean it's not the best quality but it's not the worst either. Ordering was pretty easy though, just mark what you want on the menu and hand it to the cashier. They accept credit card which was pretty cool, thought it was one of those Chinese places that only accept cash. This place isn't bad if you want fast dim sum and don't want wait in those long lines and not spend too much. read more

Terrible restaurant experience. Dined in with 2 others, ordered about 10 items. Some of the dim sum was cold (not lukewarm, cold, very cold) and some was room temp... a first time for dim sum. Most was served mixed together in a half of a Styrofoam to-go container. Steamer items weren't hot either. Unfriendly service, seemed annoyed when we asked for hot sauce and water. No tap water available either. Chinese broccoli was fresh and hot, but does not come with any sauce. Definitely not a dine-in place. At home, I could have at least zapped the dim sum, but instead it was just cold, super gross, and awkward. Absolutely love dim sum. Hong Kong Dim Sum House down the street is amazing with super friendly people. It's more expensive though. Dim Sum Box down the street is a distant second to Hong Kong, but much preferred to this place too. :( read more

After reading some of the better reviews, I looked forward to trying this fairly new dim sum express. The food is good, not salty. Th greatest disappointment is the food temperature. I ordered five items. The egg rolls were cold and non crispy. The BBQ bun, turnip cake, wrapped sweet rice, and porridge were room temperature at best. When I go to dim sum, I like my food steamy hot. They have a steady flow of customers so the dim sum must be selling at a fast pace. Yet the food temperature was cool as if it was sitting there for a long time. Oh well, maybe the management will make a change. I will give it one more try in two weeks. read more

Better than dim sum at restaurants and I have been to a lot of them. Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly and quick.

This place currently does but deserve a rating higher than 3. Despite having decent quality takeout dim sum, they seriously need to get their act together. We went on Thanksgiving morning and arrived to a packed parking lot. Upon entering the restaurant there was a crowd waiting. To conduct your transaction you grab a sheet, mark items with a quantity, then stand in line to pay on the right by the register. What's not clearly visible is that they'll have a sheet marked off with items sold out. Yes, even first thing in the morning items are already sold out. Alter paying, then the grueling wait comes. They have several mamas filling the orders and you see various orders being called for pick up. No rhyme or reason as the orders are not being filled sequentially. One man was provided two big bags and was told his order was complete. A minute later one of the workers runs out of the door looking for him. They had more items for him! The guy that went looking for him was wearing blue nitrile gloves. He went outside wearing them and returned to work still wearing them. Not replacing. Our number was finally called & was told an item we ordered multiples of was then sold out (note: it wasn't on the crossed off sheet they had). We were asked to choose replacement items. You feel rushed trying to select something else and trying to not get shorted due to the price difference. We waited and waited and waited. Was told 6 more minutes. Then the same 6 more minutes. Not sure where they get their time estimates. When we finally were told our order was ready, we grabbed our bags and went on our way. The problem with receiving stuffed bags, there's no way to verify all the items. Upon arriving home and unpacking, we found half of the pricey large chicken buns were missing and the mushroom Cheung fun awol. You'd think if you're filing an order you go through the sheet and mark off items as they're filled. Not sure how many people are getting shorted. Someone out there enjoyed my chicken bun and mushroom Cheung Fun that I didn't get to enjoy. My parents said it wasn't bad. At least they got to taste it. read more

Finally, found a reasonable option for dim sum! Food was good; not "wow", but solidly good especially the 'seen jook goon' (soy sheet rolls). Decent sized sui mai and har gow (although the har gow wrapper was bit too thick). Prices are reasonable and appropriately reflects fact that this is a take out place vs another option close by that charges the same, if not more than sit down establishments. Only issue noted was the lack of organization between the front counter ladies filling orders and the kitchen bring ing out items - seemed like the front counter didn't know what they had ready and where they were - they were lifting each steamer lid to "find" what they were looking for. It was kind if a s#*@ show but luckily it was a weekday and just before noon so it wasn't busy. It took about 20 mins to get our order of 6 items when it should really have taken no more than 5. I really hope they come up with a better ordering/pick up system as we really want this place to succeed! read more

Pretty good and reasonable priced dim sum. Went here cause my dad said the bake goods are yum but I forgot to get some haha. My family overall likes what we ate. Steamed pork ribs and the chicken feet were our faves. More to go then eat in place though but worth a try read more

First time visiting this place and I am not disappointed. I ordered har gow, turnip cake, steamed cha siu bau, and egg tarts. All were tasty. The service was quick and no nonsense. The place is clean and airy. I gave four stars simply bc I haven't tried a larger selection. Will definitely come back for other choices. read more
