Sandwiches are pretty good but the place was filthy, there's no bathroom or place to wash your hands, there is a bottle of Purell by the counter. Tables had food smears all over them, chips and trash all over the floor, the trash cans were full, and the counter where you pick up your sandwich was slimy with sauce. Nobody seemed to care when I mentioned about the trash. I wouldn't eat here again because nobody gives a flip about anything. ETA: Manager responded. But we stopped in around 330. Not during a rush. I thought the whole ordering process was pretty cool and fast for people that take forever and don't know what they want. I ordered a regular old basic meatball sandwich. It was pretty good. I love the concept of this restaurant....one recommendation though...I walked in post covid to tape on the ground and big circle sign that said "order". First times visit was quite ridiculous we ordered a 10 inch and our sandwich was only about 6 inches long . We got a complimentary free sandwich voucher and came back in yesterday night and used it on a 14" sandwich basic with only added bacon and avocados and assuming it was free as the voucher stated and nowhere did it say what size matters , we were charged a whopping $16.xx . After letting the cashier know it should of been free we were hassled and eventually given the opportunity just to pay for the added extras ($2.00 for bacon and &2.00 avocados) . I know the manager or supervisor of this store gave me this voucher , but I honestly don't believe I should have paid . You grab a brown bag that matches your meat or sandwich selection. Scribble notes on the bag..Then tale your bag to the cash register. Once my.confusion over the menu and brown bags was cleared up and I had my food I felt more joy in this experience. I ordered the letruce wrapped sandwich..GREAT lower carb option. I tend to stick to their signature sandwich, The Wicked. 5 meats (turkey, ham, roast beef, peperoni and bacon) your choice of 3 cheeses. You can get blue cheese, feta, cheese whiz, mozzarella, american, swiss, provolone, cheddar, and so on. You mark off exactly how you want the sandwich with at least 100 choices of topping and sauces. They always make it right, quickly. They have homemade potato chips that are great. Shakes, cookies, you can even make any soda a float. Not the cheapest sandwich but for how satisfying they are, it is worth the couple extra dollars compared to other chain sandwich shops. read more

I find that they have the most extensive selection of sandwich types and toppings of any sandwich player in the market. I think the meat used is fantastic, and leaps and bounds above several others. And the crushed ice and mello yello in the soda fountain. AMAZING! This was the drink of my childhood in the Midwest....something that is very hard to find here on the west coast. This place is tucked around the back of hazard center. Which wich is a chain, but is consistently good no matter which spot you stop at. The turkey sub was a plain sandwich fine to perfection. Ordering by writing on the bags makes sure you get what you want. You can add as many condiments and other items to personalize your sub. Last night at Which Wich, I ordered a veggie sandwich, Caprese (tomatoe, mozzarella & pesto), with extra toppings. I loved the idea of making decisions about the sandwich, then marking the choices on a brown bag. It is an amazing way to create a personal sandwich in a fastfood atmosphere. My sandwich was incredible with extra lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, oil, vinegar, oregano, garlic and black pepper. I would also recommend the house chips, it is a small portion with a big kick. Oh how I used to love Which Wich. It's very sad for me to say, that I will no longer be coming here. I've been boycotting the Hillcrest location for some time. The quality has gone downhill and the sandwiches are instantly soggy. I typically get the Buffalo Chicken or the Avocado. My co-worker and I ventured all the to Hazard Center because we had hoped that since this location just opened the quality would be better. It's a tiny location. The line formed and totally blocked the area where you fill out your bag. The line was all over the place and people kept trying to cut in. It's simply too small of a location to have a line. I would guess it's no more than 800 s.f. It's about the size of an average Jamba Juice, which is way too small for a sandwich concept. Moving on... I give the extremely loud cashier my bag. She proceeds to hand me my drink cup by grasping the inside of it with her dirty hands. The guy in line in front of me paid with cash. She took his cash, did not wash her hands and proceeds to stick her fingers in my cup. Wow! Do they not train food service workers on "common sense" on how to pick up a cup??? Honestly, it was an innocent mistake. I decided to ask her for a cup that she didn't put her hand inside. She looks at me dumbfounded. Pauses and then snarls at me. hahah! Wow! She really didn't get it!! It could have been an easy save with a simple, I'm sorry. My food was blah. It took 10 to 15 minutes and once again my sandwich was soggy. They used to intelligently put the Buffalo sauce between the meat and veggies, but now they just squeeze it right on the bread. Chains that expand this quickly lose focus on quality. I really hope the owners read this. If I were you, I would place an employee at the front door and have them ask if you have been there before. Have you noticed how many people turn around and leave shaking their head. Getting a sandwich should not be a hard process. But the fact that you have to pick the right "bag" with the meat you want, then check off all the boxes, is intimidating at first. So if you had someone at the front door asking if it is their first time, I think they could make the process go more smoothly. AND move the bag rack right by the front door and angle it so it flows RIGHT into the register. Those are my two cents. As for the sandwich itself, it's not very hearty. I know we live in a world where you are given WAY too much food and you are stuffed. But I'd like to not still be hungry when I am done either. Otherwise, it was a good hot sandwich. read more

I'm very surprised I felt inclined to write a review about a sandwich chain after making just one visit, but I just had to. The experience was different, but it's nice to know they can cater to everyone's personal preferences without making us feel "difficult" for special requests. It was also cool that there was an option to hollow out the bread a little for a slightly less "carby" option. The sandwich was good. I had the turkey club and it was perfect. The main reason I jumped on here for a review though is the service. These guys are great!!! So friendly and willing to go so above and beyond for us! I would go back to this location time and time again just for how awesome the service is. I really wish I knew the name of the gentleman that helped us, but all five of these stars are for him. Dropped in 15 minutes before closing time after a movie let out. The staff was perfectly cordial even though we came in so close to closing time. Very nice. I'm not sure about Which Wich's bag system....it feels like a waste of bags to me, especially if you're eating there, but it seems to work for them. I guess the upside of it is that i get to play with red crayons. I ordered the Turkey Club (Turkey, Ham, Bacon) and checked off all the veggies with light mayo, and toasted.
