My BFF found this spot on Yelp when looking for vegan friendly options. This is a Thai restaurant that is vegan and vegetarian friendly. They've been around since 2019. I ordered the Lard Nah add vegan shrimp, and Pa Nang Curry with vegan chicken. My BFF had the Larb (housemade tofu/mushroom patty) Burger , and the Spicy Drumsticks. The Roti with Curry was ordered to share. The Pa Nang Curry blew my mind with the flavor it had, but the portion is so small and it's expensive for its size. The Lard Nah was okay. The gravy tasted like it was missing something. My BFF really liked her burger and she thought the drumsticks were not bad. We were not impressed by the Roti and curry. I'm Malaysian and I grew up eating Roti in both Malaysian and Thai dishes. Roti is supposed to be flaky and thicker. The cashier was so nice that she offered us a complimentary Thai tea with oat milk. I'm really picky with my Thai tea so I rarely order it, but this one really hit the spot. It was strong and it was not that sweet. The Thai tea was just right. I would come again, but I'm going to try something else and definitely order the Thai tea. After doing some investigation on what happen to me today, at White Springs Cafe. when I was asked not to return after I received my order .... myself or my famiIy which they don't know because I always go alone and have it to go. I asked repeatedly, what did I do and I did'nt do anything, but the owner kept telling me that I knew what I did, if I knew I would accept my wrong but no explanation was given to me. Only to not return and leave I am one to defend myself but I was more in shock to be be honest I was clueless and confused I am going to bring this to the attention of ArcadiaChambers to look into why are they accusing us, and I say us because I came across others on the reviews, which they too were told not to return for no reason. My wife and I just recently moved to the area and we were in search of a vegetarian place that is both healthy and delicious. White Springs Cafe definitely exceed both expectations. I got the Spicy Salmon plate and my wife got the Pad See Ew. Spicy Salmon was very strong and flavorful. A bit tad salty for my palate but it was good. Pad See Ew was the best! The tofu was cooked to perfection and tasted as good as from traditional Thai restaurants. We'll be getting the Soy Chicken with it next time and also try out the Garlic Pepper Fish. Though this was a take-out order, our server, Karen was also very kind and attentive. She served complimentary Iced Ginger Tea and it was very light and refreshing! Gave the papaya salad a try and even though it was softer than I expected it still had a nice crunch and a sweet spicy surprise with it! The Tod Mun was definitely different, nice crunchy exterior and a soft interior and the sweet and sour sauce was just amazing. Dumplings were nice and soft, kabocha soup was delicious, and so was a special treat of vegan Thai iced tea! Service is So friendly, with little tables out front. It's in an old part of town, same-side street parking if you can parallel park and plenty of space across the street. Meal came with complimentary ginger tea (hot and cold). The Tom kah was especially tasty and one of the more authentic tasting Tom kahs that we've had from a vegan restaurant. I didn't know about this place until recently when my wife found them on Postmates. We decided to order the pad see ew without onions or garlic. They were very accommodating and nice. When I went to pick up, they offered me 2 of cups ginger water. The pad see ewe was pretty good. My one complaint would be that you can tell they used the wok previously to make something that had onions. They gave me 2 suggestions for their curries that also have no onions or garlic which we'll try next time. read more

I feel like I've discovered a secret treasure of a restaurant. It's been years since I've had Thai food so well prepared. I came here for the first time a few days ago. My husband and I ordered the Mushroom Curry with Noodles and the Green Curry with White Rice. We were blown away from the first bite. It's so rare and wonderful to find a restaurant with food that's prepared with care, like great home cooking. Everything is perfectly spiced with fresh herbs and ingredients, and nothing is overly fatty or salty. (One of my pet peeves with Thai restaurants at times) The food was so delicious I slurped up every last drop of sauce! I almost forgot to mention the service was fantastic - the woman working when we picked up our order was hospitable and kind. Just discovered this place a few months ago and it is was immediately my top go-to restaurant in the area where vegan/veg-friendly restaurants are few and far between. I wish I had known about this place sooner but just so glad it's close to me, and thankful for their HUGE menu offering a variety of foods to fit almost any craving. Their presentation for take-out food is even top-notch. Some of my favorites are the chicken satay, roti with curry (not a common item, especially one that's vegan), Tom Kha, vegan Thai iced coffee (so rare to find a vegan version), and mango sticky rice. I and several friends of mine have been ordering from this restaurant for a very long time because we love to support vegan restaurants. However, we've had a few issues here and there, especially with portion sizes compared to the amount that we pay for the food. The portion sizes are rather small. Other times, the vegan chicken is undercooked and causes stomach turns. We've collectively decided to stop ordering from this restaurant. Even their Cajun fries, have been changed. They now use the much skinnier fry that doesn't taste as tasty as the other crinkle cut fries that they used to use. The food is good but nothing special. The gal working taking our order was very nice and made us feel welcome for the most part. What made it unpleasant was the chanting that was on the speakers, there's only one table inside and the table we sat at outside was wobbly and the chairs were metal and uncomfortable but the worst thing was that after we ordered and sat down, we needed to use the restroom. Yes, folks, they refused paying customers and told us the closest bathrooms were at the REI a block away.
