What a joke. This Upland location is the worst. They seem to think it's OK to charge 20-30 cents more per item than other locations for the same food. Then, their sodas are smaller than other locations. For example, the medium size soda at this location is equivalent to a small at other locations. I am absolutely appalled by the way this establishment treated my husband and 7 yr old son today. Kayla, who was working the front register denied my 7 yr old access to the restroom until my husband ordered after they had already been waiting for 15 minutes to get someone's attention. My husband politely asks not once but twice after being blatantly ignored. Her response well are you a customer? He explained they were planning to order food but he was about to have an accident even having other customers join in also pleading with her on behalf of my son but she continued to ignore the request claiming policy with a completely unprofessional attitude. Well guess what happened. My son did have an accident. Thanks Kayla that memory is going to stick with him for years. I have been eating here my entire life and I am done. Aggre Clough you may want to check those customer service training records because this was beyond ridiculous and your manager did not seem to care in the slightest. The irony of all the Covid compliance drive-thru window postings. They want customers to feel safe, but humans are still humans and make mistakes, I guess. I'm really hoping what I witnessed was a one-time thing. I got my order but was still waiting for my ice cream cone. Forget Covid--I've always gotten a little bothered by employees having to pull the cone out of the dispenser with their bare hands. I'm not even a germ phobe, but this has always seemed kinda gross. So you can imagine my horror when Employee A tells Employee B to make my cone. EMPLOYEE B PUTS DOWN THE TRASH CAN she was carrying/moving AND COMMENCES MAKING MY CONE! Been coming here for sometime with my wife, and we find ourselves enjoying their fine cuisine. OK it's a hot-dog store. Sometimes we eat "in", sometimes we take out. No matter, we find the food consistently tasty, cooked fresh and hot. My wife likes the corn dogs, while I prefer the chili dogs, submerged in onions. Have never regretted stopping here for a quick bite, or in a hurry to return home. Competent servers and friendly, kids by the most part, working hard to please their customers. Enjoyed the sundaes the last time we visited, you may purchase a Tasty Freeze dessert if you choose. I like the caramel topping. Cleanliness is the order of the day, but the door handle on the restroom was broken, which required two hands to manipulate the device. A minor inconvenience as I was leaving, not entering. The only reason I gave one star is because the girl that helped me was pleasant. When pulling into the drive-thru there is an advertisement for a free corn dog if you text 'HOTDOG' to a specific number. After texting and placing my order I asked the young lady how long before the response for the corn dog comes through, she then proceeded to tell me that offer was over January 31st... why the hell is the signage still up then!?! At this point what should have happened was they honor the advertisement they failed to take down 16 days ago... but no. Strike one. Next I hand the young lady my card and after about a minute she comes back asking if I had cash because their machine is not reading cards. Strike two. No cash on hand so I leave to go to an ATM because my son did not want anything else. When I came back to pay cash all that was given was a measly "I'm sorry about that". When we got our food the fries were burnt as if they were dropped into the fryer a second time. My strawberry lemonade (which is usually to die for) tasted tainted having an unfamiliar after taste. This place, weird enough, used to be a local hang out for some friends and myself when I was in high school. I used to play Collectible card games and the like, and this place always had a very friendly staff, great customer service, fresh and tasty food. I really cannot emphasize enough that they need to bring back their apple pies (literally the best I have ever had, better even than home made). I will always be a customer for them because I have had so many good times there and with the food. Even today the food is great! Their soft serve is delicious, as is there chili-(insert item). My advice to you: get the chili dog, chili cheese fries, and chili burger. Wash it down with an ice cold diet pepsi. My friends, nothing is more tasty. read more

This location is always a good experience. From the drive-thru to the food, it never fails. I went on a Friday night so they were busier than normal... and there was only one employee working. He managed to get all 5 cars in the drive thru out in about 15 minutes. My food was so perfectly made. Everything was delicious and freshly made. It was definitely worth the wait. They close at 12:00 a.m. There was another vehicle already making his second cycle through the drive-thru. As I drove up to the parking lot after pulling out, the other vehicle said he waited and went around the drive-thru just to get there attention. I haven't been to Wienerschnitzel in years and decided to eat dinner here and keep cool from the blazing 97F August heatwave. I deducted one stars because the temp inside rivaled that of the outside. The AC must have been broken or something to that degree. In spite of the temp the ladies taking the orders were very friendly and had quick service. I may be picky but the second star was deducted because I didn't get a receipt for the order and they don't have a water spigot/tap on their self serve fountain drinks. The girl did give me a cup with ice water but I like drinking a lot and always find this to be a bit of an inconvenience. Now to the food: had the deluxe dog and chili cheese fries. Overall both were good in taste although small in proportion. The chili fries didn't leave a big orange grease mark at the bottom of the fry boat like some other chili places tend to do. All in all I'd check this place out again (through the drive thru), they're prompt, friendly, and have soft serve ice cream. read more
