Accidentally ended up in this strip mall and decided to get a bowl of Pho in this place. I was impressed by friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I absolutely LOVED how the pho was packaged to go. It was a multi-tiered soup bowl with separate compartment for noodles and meats. But.... The mot important thing in Pho is broth and this one just wasn't rich enough for my taste. But the soup was still good and if I didn't have other options I'd eat here again.

What a nice place, very relaxing and laid back vibe, exactly what ai needed on a rainy day. The people were super friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and fresh. The place is clean and comfortable. I will absolutely be coming back to try different food, they deserve the business and the good reviews.

This is the best Pho ever . I'm pregnant and this has been my pregnancy craving ever since I've tried it. Everything taste fresh and flavorful. The customer service is amazing, feels like family. They have happy hour where you dine in and get a free Thai tea which is 10/10. Everything about this place is a 10/10. My favorite thing to get is the chicken Pho and a lychee slushie. I've been here multiple times and have never been disturbed. The place is small and welcoming, quite with nice soothing music.

This is one of those Viet spots that have a smaller focused menu that highlights classics like pho and stirfry dishes but we keep coming back to this neighborhood restaurant because they always kept to its amazing taste. I love the plants in the inside! It really changes the ambience to your aunties home with a bunch of plants. Made the same order as I did when I was in high school as a college student and I still feel it's the same. How comforting! Please stay in this plaza forever!! The world must know what a home cooked meal is like!

Came here for lunch today for pho. Parking here was easy as they had a lot. I got the special combination pho and it wasn't good. The bean sprouts were not fresh and smelled like it was fermenting. The noodles were overcooked and mushy. The broth also tasted bland. I think their Cambodian dishes might be better though.

I've always passed by this place, I think what attracted my attention was the name. Reviews seem pretty solid. AMBIANCE: Parking: Plaza parking, room for about 20 cars. I didn't have any issues. Seating: Inside seating. Great for groups, room for about 20 people. Feels: It's off of Pacific Coast Highway. Closest landmark was probably Long Beach City College. Other than that it's not the touristy side but moreover just your grit and grind area. The spot itself is pretty nice. Nothing too flashy. I dig the classic Cambodian (I think) music. The chandeliers are pretty nice and the huge pond of fish painting is quite majestic. Great for families or comfort eating. FOOD: Beef Stew (Recommend) Delicious. A fulfilling dish that's well seasoned. I'm generally used to thicker broth but this was pretty good and comforting. I appreciated the chunks of carrots and the mixing hints of onions and lemongrass. Noodles were well cooked and the beef was tender. Add the wonderful elements of mint, lime, and peppers for a superb kick. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! The order was relatively quick and follow-up was great. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. This place is great! Simple comforting spot with great selections, delicious food, and reasonable spots. There are plenty of Cambodian/Vietnamese places here in Long Beach but this is another promising spot. They don't have Chinese donuts but can't blame them if they don't have it (just an FYI heads up). Aside from that this place is great! TIPS: * They got boba too!

Good place for Pho and stir-fried dishes in Long Beach. We haven't been back in a while, and I really wanted a warm bowl of Pho mid-morning, so stopped in for dine-in after an appointment. LIke other noodle shops, they open early (9am) and serve the entire menu. I've really come to appreciate being able to have noodle soup for breakfast, usually in a less crowded atmosphere. We were seated promptly, with glasses of water being brought. The menu has boba tea, smoothies, and slushies along with rice porridge, various stir-fry dishes, and of course, pho. - pork egg rolls ($6.49). Very good. Five spring roll pieces, with dipping sauce...served immediately after it came from a deep fryer. Loved it. - Stir fried broccoli with chicken ($10.99) - served with white rice, the brown sauce was exactly how we liked it, and would appeal to ones who like brown sauce (no corn starch) from a typical Chinese restaurant (i.e. no fish sauce added). It's a good value, and the ingredients were good. - Combination Pho ($12.49 for L): I like the pho here (had it many times). The broth is very clean, not oily, but also lacks a strong beef flavor. One should wait a bit to let the rice noodles soak in the broth (since it can be a bit hard in the beginning). The combo comes with a lot of different meats, but I could only identify rare steak, tendon (one large piece), tripe (very small pieces), and a lot of quartered meatballs (which I love)...no brisket or flank.. It came with a side of fresh, uncooked bean sprouts, one snip of Thai Basil, and sliced jalapeno. It did take a bit of time to get the pho bowl out, so most likely there is not a simmering pot of beef broth ready to go, like there would be in a high traffic pho restaurant. Like most Asian restaurants, the food came as it was finished cooking individually, so we ended up getting the broccoli chicken first, then waited a bit for the pho, then waited some more for the appetizer. The service was good, keeping our water filled and delivering our food hot. You pay upfront, and they have a digital system where you can go touchless. It's nice that to have a restaurant this close, where they serve good pho but also Chinese dishes for those in your party who don't care for the lemongrass/fish sauce/peanut flavor that is prevalent in Southeast Asian cooking.

It's been months since I've visited this place, but if I'm ever in the area again, I'll come back. Came here during the end of the shut down...well like late 2020. There weren't any curfews but we couldn't eat indoors. Anyway, I ordered com bo luc lac because that's my favorite and it was yummy. The meat was flavorful and tender. I also ordered pho but I didn't taste it so I can't speak to it. I do know it was finished so it couldn't have been horrible. The customer service was friendly as well.

We kind of found this place on accident. We intended to dine at sophy's down a few blocks but they were closed . So we backtracked to Wok and Pho . We were greeted by a friendly smiling lady behind the counter. The patient lady left us to look over the menu . Of course we were undecided on what we want to eat . She did make some suggestions and of course we all went with what she recommended for us to eat lol! The restaurant most popular stir fried noodles cambodian mee kah tang ( similar to chow fun or lad Nah but better ) Mee kah tang were delicious and in the middle of us eating , we ordered another plate. Hubby had baw baw Kreung , cambodian pork blood and pork innards rice porridge. It was ok for us. Missing that savory taste as we were accustomed to at other establishments. The lady also recommends their special pork sliced over rice with some delicious sauce. Yup! It's different and it was a winner for sure. I had their kuy teav Phnom Penh, cambodian pork broth rice noodle soup. It's lacking flavors for me . It's not bad , but it could be better. The broth is bland and missing that umami aroma . Overall we had an excellent service and food were delicious.

Food is good but atmosphere is dead. Dead silence as no music was playing (absolutely no white noise) and we weren't welcome past their 6:30pm closing time. I think we arrived 5:45 and were out 6:36. Otherwise, customer service was helpful! May or may not return but would still recommend. read more

I have a new rule, where if I dine out somewhere and they don't provide me with silverware whether it's chopsticks or a spoon (literally what I need to eat the food) I just leave. What do you want me to do, eat this with my hands ? Ordered my food, didn't get what I needed to eat it with, since they must assume I'm a caveman. I Paid, tipped 20% (even tho I shouldn't have) and I left. Now I'm currently eating at New Pho instead. I'd recommend here if you're looking for Pho. read more

Food is so flavorful, reasonably priced and includes generous portions. A true neighborhood gem. I can't wait to try something new on the menu. So far, I love the Beef Lak Lok, Combination pho, and shrimp fried rice. The Cambodian beef stew is also good but very rich and spicy (in a heartburn-inducing kind of way) so drink Sprite with it. Surrounding neighborhood is a little seedy so order DoorDash delivery if you do not want to venture out. read more

Definitely recommend. We ordered the Cambodian beef stew, shrimp fried rice and beef pad see ew. The Cambodian beef stew was excellent. However, I recommend going elsewhere for shrimp fried rice and pad see ew. I wish I lived in the area so I could try the other Cambodian dishes. read more

Local shop, family own, best part owned by my peoples, CAMBODIANS!! I love ordering the Cambodian iced coffee (reminds me of my childhood, when I'd sneak to drink my moms coffee) I always order the beef lok lak with fried egg and a sode of broth, there are plenty of other delicious items they have, I just like beef lok lak a lot. The Kathew Phnom Penh has plenty of flavor, I would recommend it, the mee-kathang is also yummy. Its a matter of what you're craving, and know what you're ordering here. I stick with the restaurant style Cambodian dishes, and it is almost 100% spot on. read more

Update. So, my coworkers and I have been going here more often since it is close to work. Prices are great here and the main lady is always friendly to us. I up'd them to 5 stars because of this and that I tried their Crispy Noodle dish and it is now my favorite. The noodles have a nice and crispy texture, and the sauce is a bit thin for my taste but nicely flavored. Favorite dish here and I am pretty sure you will fall in love with it if you try it. As a side note, if you order soup to go, make sure to ask for the noodles on the side. We brought back a soup to the office and the noodles were already in the soup. Luckily we ate it soon because noodles absorb the soup and will make them soggy. read more

My wife and I were craving pho and decided to try this place. TL; DR this place was incredible and we highly recommend it! Also, call in your order instead of using an app if you're going to pick it up for best results! We ordered a large Seafood Pho and the Spring Rolls to split because we didn't want leftovers. The portions were great and a perfect amount for us to be completely full even when split! The Spring Rolls were crispy, well-filled, and very tasty! They give you five of them and an excellent sweet chili dipping sauce! The Seafood Pho was delicious and SO fresh! They kept the seafood and other ingredients out of the broth and even through pickup they were all still very fresh and cooked perfectly! I don't know about you, but I often fear ordering seafood from new places as it's usually flavorless, dried out, or overcooked. Not here! Everything was fresh and flavorful, especially the shrimp! I highly recommend this place for some pho and I'm sure they have great options throughout their menu based on the freshness and quality of ingredients used in my order! Also, call in your order if you're picking up so they can better serve you! Timing is key with pho so for best results, call it in! read more

Just picked up some chicken pho and a brisket pho. As I was sitting waiting for my order I couldn't help but notice every single person that works in this restaurant is extremely nice and considerate. Just hearing the conversations are having with the customers checking up on the customers the interactions with the customers were 100% the best customer service. You can tell these people have genuinely good hearts here and are quality people. I definitely feel anybody should support this business. The food is absolutely delicious as well made from the heart. Please give this spot a chance. The pho is phenomenal! I'm a picky pho connoisseur. I haven't found a better spot since the popular spot in town closed for remodeling before the Pandemic. Anyway, I can taste the spices in their broth, unlike other lazy Pho spots who has been cutting corners. Their broth taste like it was made with love, yanno? I highly recommend. We enjoyed the food we ate at this place yesterday.My coworkers and I tried this place Wok and Pho.I gave this place 1star cos of the venue is outdated and the worst part is the AC is not working.Imagine that you're eating a hot and spicy soup in the middle of Sahara desert.We we're sweating while eating in a stuffy and hot place.If the owner can read this please fix your AC .The 2 ladies that was next to us left and we almost left too.Food was flavorful and the not pricey. read more

Stumbled onto this this place and we were pleasantly surprised. Ordered spring rolls, pho tai and taro boba tea. The Pho was pho-nomenal!! Great flavor and portions. The staff wire mask and gloves and Soni the owner was friendly, professional, even bringing us her own personal hand sanitizer to the table. Not sure when we'll be thru this area again, but will definitely stop by for another yummy meal. read more

This is our go-to place whenever we come to visit Long Beach! The food is delicious and we highly recommend the Beef Lok Lak and the Combination Pho. The customer service is wonderful as well. We visit Long Beach around once or twice a month and the people who work there remember us and we have fun conversations, especially when it isn't during a busy time. Everyone is super welcoming and it's always a treat whenever we visit. Definitely recommend if you're in the area! read more

Incredible pho. Probably best I've had in Long Beach. Broth is rich and delicious, the meat, noodles, and veggies are all standard, but very good and let no part of the pho down. The portion are incredibly big, I love it. They give plenty of noodles, too, even without ordering extra. Other places in Long Beach I've been to have not been as generous. First time I ate here I got the large, and it was VASTLY bigger than I could eat. I was shocked. Given, I'm not a huge person, but I tend to be able to eat a decent bit for my size, and I can pretty much never fully finish a normal sized bowl of their pho. The service is lovely and attentive. When you walk in with a mask on, the waitress puts one on to serve you, and I find that very considerate. Most workers wouldn't do that, so I appreciate it greatly. The ambiance itself is nothing overly remarkable, but that's not a problem. They have booth tables which I always love, and their pho knocks my socks off. That's all I need. Plus, the humble atmosphere is fitting for a small, authentic, family-run restaurant. Also their crispy noodles were great too. read more

The pho did not taste good. It doesn't even taste like what an authentic pho broth is supposed to taste like nor did the broth smell like it. Maybe they don't eat pho often and can't tell what's authentic. This is the most disappointing version of pho I've ever tried. The soup aftertaste is bad. This is not a Vietnamese restaurant. Should have looked into it before choosing it. I thought if it has the word Pho in the restaurant name then it's a Vietnamese restaurant. read more

I took my family here to try Cambodian food for the first time and we absolutely loved it. We had the Beef Lok Lak, Pad See Ew, fried rice and Salt & pepper shrimp. Amazing PHO very delicious!!! The store owner is so awesome she was very inviting. I also got the Chowmein with meat combo (shrimp, beef, and chicken) also very delicious. Try the veggie egg rolls they are actually crunchy delicious! I normally never finish the egg rolls but this place got me hooked. The Thai tea with Bobba is also so delicious I REALLY recommend this hidden gem!!! read more

We also had to wave down a server just to follow up on the iced coffee that I ordered, especially since this was already after the food had finally arrived. Lastly, while it was good that they had their own parking lot, exiting through the almost too narrow alley was incredibly challenging in either direction. That aside.. this gnocchi was not good and too undercooked. The sauce tasted honestly like a chef boyardee sauce, with a little bit of a fish after taste, and no ricotta. It did taste like slight parm, which, even if a little bit more Parmesan was added, maybe this would've tasted a bit better. But apparently all the Parmesan was reserved only for the salads. (This dish was supposed to have a duck base, but this was not cooked properly) not only was I simply turned off by this dish, there was nobody by to help or even get it to go box. But quite honestly, I just left the food which is so sad. Left over pasta is always so good but I really could not continue eating this as I truly did not enjoy the taste. I left hungry and sadly disappointed.

Lastly, while it was good that they had their own parking lot, exiting through the almost too narrow alley was incredibly challenging in either direction.
