Although my review might not mean much, it was truly an unforgettable experience for me. One day, I ordered a drink, but since I wasn't feeling well, I didn't want anything too cold, so I asked the server for no ice. To my surprise, the server gave me only half a cup of the drink, saying that was the amount I "deserved" after removing the ice. Because I wasn't feeling well and the person was clearly just an employee, I didn't take it seriously--I just laughed and drank my half-filled beverage. But even after all this time, I still haven't forgotten about it. I understand that this employee's behavior doesn't reflect on the owner, but businesses should provide basic training on what constitutes a proper serving size--what a customer actually "deserves"--rather than allowing employees to arbitrarily twist the facts, right? read more

Found this spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try since it was 4.5 stars. I asked the staff what the most popular item was and he said the Argentina Chimichurri and Thai Chicken. I decided to go with the Chimichurri wrap, but I was a bit disappointed. The rice was on the harder side and the pickled onions wasn't spread out evenly. Also, the tortilla was stuck on the parchment paper so it was extremely hard to peel off. I ended up just eating the inside with a fork. This review is long over-due but I ordered World Wrapps via UberEats a few weeks ago since I was looking for healthier alternatives to eat versus the fast food I've been indulging in. I thought this would be the perfect place considering the reviews were also pretty great from other yelper's. I was very surprised that they had a very diverse menu, such as offering proteins such as steak with salmon, bulgogi beef, korean bbq meats, chicken, etc. They also have Beyond Meat which is great in case you have a plant-based diet, vegetarian, or if you're vegan. The menu definitely has a variety of flavors going on, offering spins on Asian, Mexican, American, Hawaiian, etc. I ended up ordering the chimichurri steak with salmon bowl and a Korean BBQ Steak wrap for my boyfriend to try out. With my order, it met a certain criteria where I was able to get a free strawberry lemonade with my purchase. It took roughly 30-45 (leaning towards an hour) to get my food and I was excited! Everything was packaged and sealed well. I have to say though when I got my food, everything was cold and it didn't seem as fresh anymore. The chimichurri steak with salmon bowl was actually pretty delicious to say the least. It's definitely a nice surf and turf moment since the steak was thinly sliced and you were able to eat bits of salmon at the same time. The salmon itself was a decent portion (it was thinly cut, but thick in size). The white sauce (I'm assuming this is a garlic aoli) was nice, but it was pretty thick too. I think if you mix it around a bit more it should be a bit better because I left it alone on the salmon and I got globs of it while eating. This is just my own personal preference, but I have a love/hate relationship with cherry tomatoes so I ended up not eating as much of that alongside the pickled veggies. However, the flavors of both the steak and salmon were nice and I love the fact that there is a bed of rice (I believe brown) underneath everything. You do get a pretty hearty meal without being too heavy at all. I did see that there was garlic/onion chips sprinkled above and I think I would have loved more. The Korean BBQ Wrap was pretty good as well. The flavor of the KBBQ was sweet and savory. It definitely packs a lot of flavor into the wrap. My boyfriend really enjoyed it, but I think it may have been too filling for him since he didn't eat the other half. The strawberry lemonade itself I remember was being super sweet, yet tart. I think if you add a bit of water or add more ice in the drink it'll water itself down. It was great though! I definitely need to try the other drinks and foods here. Overall, pretty good experience. I think it might be better when it's more fresh versus delivery. read more

It was a sudden trip! I was returning clothes to gap, when a employee flagged me and some other strangers down handing me a brochure. I went away to deposit my paycheck at BFA. Sat in my car and saw the menu on my lap. Guess I was craving Asian fusion after all. I really like the different type of wraps, it's really wrap central. I got beef bulgolgi in a wrap and in a bowl. Which one do you prefer? They have a plastic shield to block your face from getting too close from their employees, contactless payment so you announce how much you want to put in for tips and a sanitizing station. They have a sign that says one customer at a time. Across from their "stall" are two benches if you really feel like sitting down and eating on such a busy street. I was happy with what I got. I would like to try the other things in the menu just to see if it delivers on my expectation... like not just a divergence (using fancy sauces to make me think I'm eating something completely different, but that their menu items had some thought put into it and tastes different from each other). The food was phenomenal and the Boba tea is very very good as well honestly, it's one of my favorites to get. They are fast with the food and always have a kind word to say, Elvis is especially awesome! The service is 10/10 very smooth and easy flow through the restaurant and as I said earlier the food comes quick, within 6-10 min depending on your order. And the ambiance is nice it's got good outdoor seating on chestnut and it's bustling with people from all walks of life and there's always something to look at! I'm usually skeptical of healthy spots in the marina because they can be overpriced but decided to try this place for their wraps. I got the Samurai Salmon Wrap with the coconut Thai tea with boba. The salmon wrap was fantastic! Super fresh tasting and the salmon just flakes apart. The bean sprouts and the wasabi vinaigrette really brighten up the wrap. The tortilla has a nice firmness and bite to it. The coconut Thai tea was decent. I'm not sure what they use to sweeten it but it has a very artificial sweetener taste. The boba is on the chewey side but could use more sugar/honey. Service is super friendly and they are well staffed. Prices are moderate but to be expected given the location. read more

This was one of the best lunches I've had in a LONG time. I went to World Wrapps a little after 12:30 on a Friday, and I was surprised by how fast the service one. They had so many ready to grab boba & lemonades. The staff was very friendly and willing to give recommendations - which was great, because the menu has very diverse options! It's wrap fusion - so I got a chicken tikka masala wrap, and the worker I talked to recommended the Thai chicken. The wrap was SO flavorful, sweet yet Smokey, and the lemonade had real chunks of strawberry that came through the thick paper boba straws they have. Working nearby, this is a good lunch spot option. Food was yummy and the service was good and quick. I just take issue with the price in relation to serving size. I got the furikake salmon bowl. Flavor was good, sauce was on point. Rice was moist and sticky. I enjoyed the other sides like cucumber, carrots and avocado. The actual salmon was good, just such a small portion. The wraps here, at least at one point, were usually good though there's been inconsistent quality in my experience. When they're good, they're really good... when they're not they're edible but that's about it. I recently made the mistake of ordering bowls here and they were disgusting. The ratio of rice to other things was way off and there was not enough sauce so I was left with mostly a bowl of plain rice that was so salty it tasted like it was cooked in sea water. Not good. In fact, everything in the dish was incredibly salty. I'm not a snob about salt, I like some salt, but this was waaay too much. Aside from the oversalted flavour, the bowl was incredibly bland. It was not good. The California wrap was also good and felt very healthy (but a bit bland). I would suggest go for the tikka masala wrap if you're looking for interesting flavors and a bit of a kick. The tofu was cooked very well and the ingredients (rice, cucumber, etc) all tasted very fresh. Was a very enjoyable and filling meal. Me and my boyfriend always get food from here when we crave some healthy fast food and we are never disappointed. His go to is the Argentinian chimichurri bowl with the steak.
