This is the classic 'hole in the wall' that has a really great offering. Off the beaten path it looks like a dump from the outside. Complete with a dingy setting, along with a thin greasy film over everything from the kitchen exhaust, a filthy fan in the wall next to one of the tables, and even a broken water cooler switch. Sure you can sit and eat but do you really want to? Yuck. Well, the food is GREAT so don't be fooled! This is the one of the few places, if not the only place, in Whitefish that has embraced something other than the stale, same old, meat and potatoes menu offerings so ingrained in Montana's culture. If you're a vegetarian, vegan, or just like to eat healthy fresh food, you really need to stop in. For God's sake, I'm so tired of having to wait for a trip to NY, Vegas, Seattle, or CA, to get a decent vegetarian meal. Thanks Wrap & Roll! The staff is great. They are always slaving away over the grill so if they are bit gruff and hurried try not to take offense. They are busy cooking up good eats. All of the produce comes from the local market in Whitefish. In addition that market really focuses on local. They have a really great hummus here that goes great with the pitas. They often run out since they make everything fresh or in small quantities. They have their menu on-line so you can call your order in advance. Which I recommend. Because if there are a few orders in front of you, be prepared to sit around in a tight space with other twitchy customers. If they had a place on main street I think they could easily make a mint from the foot traffic. Stupid bars and retail taking all the space. Be daring - eat healthy! read more

This restaurant had great food, but was grossly overpriced. I personally hate paying in change, but today I had to. So, in order to avoid the awkwardness of taking my money out at the counter, I checked the website so that I had the right amount. When I got there the Beef Gyro (what I had previously planned to order) cost two dollars more than it was stated on the website. The service was weird and unwelcoming. The employees were also very impatient and expected me to order the second I walked in. The appearance alone was dirty and worn down. The beef gyro did taste very good, but had about a 3:1 ratio of vegetables to beef. For such a high price, I would expect more, thicker meat and less vegetables. I would have given one star, had the gyro not been decent. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't worth 10.50. I most likely will not go back. read more

I've lived in Whitefish and never went only driven by a million times. Finally stopped in, cute little place on Spokane (rte 93) downtown. I ordered the Thai roll up. It was busy so I did my errands came back 15 minutes later & it was ready. Rolled in foil which kept it nice and hot for a long time. When I finally had a bite it was delicious & still hot after an hour. Full of flavor. Price was reasonable for Whitefish under $10. I would go again. Friendly service. read more

Had the Thai Peanut Veggie Bowl. After seeing it on the menu I thought it was unique dish that I haven't seen in many other places around town so I had to try it. I was definitely impressed and satisfied. Good size portion and came out hot, which was perfect on a cloudy winter day. I even added a bit of the seemingly homemade hot sauce that was on the table. The food is healthy with plenty of vegetarian options loaded with value. I hear this place is known for their "Fatty Burrito," which I've yet to try. I've been going to wrap and roll for a very long time- probably 5 years. It has its ups and downs, but recently the food has taken an extra long time, I've seen the people preparing food dipping chips in the salsa they just made, touching their hair and face and then making the food without washing their hands, and their phone has been off for several days so you can't order ahead. They have consistently messed up orders and I'm wondering when it's going to get back to normal. read more

This place saved my wedding. I needed 20 wraps fast for hungry guest. The people at Wrap'n'Roll Cafe managed to have all the wraps ready in 45 minutes and we asked for a LOT of bacon. Ate lunch at the Wrap & Roll today and was Wowed by their food. I ordered the fish tacos with black beans and rice. I'm gluten free. The food fit my diet. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. The AT sauce made from fresh jalapenos made my eyes water. LOVED IT! Ordered one fish taco. It was sooooo good, I had to order another. In truth, I could have gulped down four of them, they were yummy. Sat back in a tall chair with my feet dangling. Looked out the window at the snow-covered mountains and relaxed listening to Credence Clearwater Revival. Next time I was to try to Thai Peanut sauce dishes. Left with a free gigantic chocolate chip cookie on the house. I'll go back again and again. They also have tables outside for fresh air and people watching. read more

All I could think of was "if she scratch herself back there or pulled them out of her crack, you will for sure have feces in the food. One of the cooks took off her sandal not once but twice and messed with her shoe and went right back to cooking . My first and last time there. I threw my food away and didn't try it. We were so excited about this place given the great ratings but it definitely didn't live up to the hype. The beef gyro was decent but dry and the falafel was just ok. And a side of plain tortilla chips with nothing to flavor them up left this meal wanting. The staff didn't seem to care that we were even there. This is the first place in this awesome little town that we felt unwelcome. After eating at wrap and roll, it was no surprise to me that we were the only people there at 6pm. I am a local.....and am a tad dissapointed in the service (a touch bitchy) and the quality of the food. The last two times i went there i was greated with hostility at my requests (a really small burrito for a two year old - i was told they could make me a "chubby" and that was the smallest they could make......which is very large for an adult) and the second request was for a burrito that they could cut in 1/2 for said 2 yr old and they told me it couldnt be done so i should just get it in a bowl....so i ordered a quesadilla that contained 3 pieces of chicken and cheese that filled the center only leaving 1/2 the quesadilla empty for $7. I am sorry i cant give a better review for a local establishment but if you have kids, stear clear. For adults i would give 2-3 stars instead of 1..... But still could use some improvments. read more

However, the next time I went the prices had gone up and were ridiculously overpriced and the lady who took my order was extremely rude. She did not make eye contact and barely grunted when I ordered. I wasn't even sure if she saw me or had heard me order except she took my credit card. While I was waiting for my to-go order (which took a rather long time for the small order I had) I noticed there was another employee who was much nicer and even told someone to "Have a nice day." The next and LAST time I went I ordered two overpriced fish tacos they were very delicious but not worth the wait or the price. I won't be back mostly due to the prices. Wrap and Roll used to be my go to in town. Sometimes I would come in 5 times a week or more than once a day. The breakfast burritos, fatty burrito, Greek wrap, and tacos have lost their quality ingredients and now taste absolutely disgusting, and worse, the owner keeps raising the prices (definitely shouldn't be as expensive as the quality food in this town at places like Zucca that have organic chicken on salads). Unless Wrap and Roll starts carrying local ingredients, organic options, or lowers their prices, and cleans up the inside of their building, I don't see a reason to return. The only thing I'll miss is the AK sauce. read more
