The salad I had was okay. It was supposed to be a Caesar salad, but it came with way more toppings that one normally would. The dressing was nice, though the vegetable were wet so it didn't stay on well. I also tried the mozzarella sticks as I always do. They really weren't much to go home about, and I didn't enjoy the marinara a whole lot. I would also like to add that the plate presentation was slightly lack luster and not super neat, though I know this isn't exactly "fine dining" . The grilled cheese sandwich was my main, and it was honestly just ok. Not close to the worst I've had but I feel the flavors could have been brought out a bit more. It may have been slightly overdone, but I'm not sure that was the issue. The fries that came with were good, but that's all I can say really. The presentation for the sandwich was better, but I do appreciate the pickle inclusion. I think I will always have a soft spot for Continental seeing I have many fond memories of theatre hangs, and even a Bar-Mitzvah once in their banquet space. First time at a Rotary Sushi spot and I had an absolute blast! I visited for Valentine's Day dinner…read morebut had no issue getting a table for two at 5pm. They unfortunately don't do reservations for a group as small as 2 people; but for a bigger group, call ahead. The inside had an elegant aesthetic with four rotary lines all connected to the back kitchen area. One is sat at a table with an ipad to view the menu, ingredients in each item, and lists out beverages you can order. The table comes with chopsticks and soy sauce but one can call the attendant for utensils, water, or your check. It's $3.69 for every plate grabbed from the rotary. Once you finish the plate, you discard it into the table slot. The ipad tracks your plate count and for every 10 finished, you get a gachapon toy from the machine above the central rotary track. If you like wasabi or ginger, no worries as these are constantly in rotation to grab. Our favorites of the evening were the vegetable rolls, crab rangoon, tempura sweet potato roll, and the different nigiri's (umami beef, spicy kani, seared scallop, etc). If you don't see a roll on the rotary you wanted, check the ipad as you may be able to order for no upcharge. The nice robot on the top track will bring your dish right out to the table! If you're looking for a fun way to try new sushi rolls or give kids an interactive sushi experience, this is the spot to go! Tip: They have a punch card for every $25 spent. Once you hit 10 punches, you can spin the wheel for a discount. Pro Tip: While we got there early to avoid a wait, the more crowded the restaurant got... the better the rotary selections we saw.

Place is on the end of a shopping plaza. Not much to see but it looked clean and inviting. Staff was kind and explained the process. This place functions like I would expect. Each plate is a set price, you pick what you want and feed the plate into a chute on the side for your tally. If you don't find something on the conveyor belt, then you get a tablet and put it in to be shuttle delivered to your table. It's very cool to watch and be a part of. So that aspect was fun. The sushi was okay but heavily Americanized. Lots of heavily sauced and beef options. No seasoning of the rice, Tamago had torched spicy mayonnaise on top but was cold, some rolls were composed well but others were kind of bland. We did have a volcano roll that was not great. Still had to pay for the plate, which was not fun. Thankfully not much got wasted. A rotary sushi place is a gimmick in of itself. It's a good operating model, but it's a rarity in the states so there is that appeal to try something new. Then there's the plate game, if you feed ten plates into the chute you get a capsule prize. Then you get a frequent diner card that if you pay 25 dollars you get a stamp and if you get 10 stamps you get to spin the prize wheel. I appreciate game systems, but this place skirts that edge of too many. As a restaurant, it's neat to try and not too bad on price for decent sushi. There's a lot going on, but if you focus on the food then it's a nice place to have a bite.

I still enjoy the big pieces of fish and mix of cucumbers, avocado, seaweed with a sprinkle of sesame seeds. There was a time it included edamame but doesn't look like it is included anymore. My kids ordered the spider roll, dragon roll and beef udon that came with a california roll. The rolls were a good size and had a good ratio of rice to other ingredients. The pieces of sashimi are good sized with appropriate amount of rice in each piece. The salmon kama is a nice appetizer. It comes out scorching hot and crispy. It can be tricky to eat because of the bones, but worth the work! I really like the design of the booths with the authentic decor resembling Japanese architecture. I don't like that the tables are consistently sticky when we eat there and if we don't get a booth, the tables are wobbly. No matter where we sit, there is always a table with a wobbly leg. The service is always super welcoming and friendly. Our waiter may have been new and still in training because we waited 24 mins from when we asked for the check until it was brought to us. And even then, I had to ask the busboy to remind our server for the check because he kept walking in and out of the room taking other tables' orders and refilling water. Upon realizing the long waiting time, the server was apologetic and still very kind which I appreciated. As we were leaving all the other staff made a point to say thank yous and good byes.

There are tables available to sit indoors and a couple small tables outside. They have bottled soft drinks for purchase but limited beverage options. The food is worth coming here for. I would drive out of my way to come here again for the quality of the food and the hospitality, which more than make up for anything lacking in a generic strip mall ambiance. The chicken kebab is incredible - so juicy and flavorful. The hummus is perfectly seasoned. Chicken and beef shawarma were both winners. Grape leaves were perfect and came in orders of a dozen! Pita was warm, fresh and fluffy. 10/10

While it's past take-out distance from me, it's a nice enough restaurant to eat in. Its no further away than my old favorite place (ruined under new ownership) as well, which is a good deal for me. We got a chicken shawarma plate and a kifta kebab plate. Food came out in order, with salad and hummus first followed shortly after by our main plates. It's counter service so you grab everything yourself. I really liked the dressing on the salad. Like a light and sweet balsamic, it cuts through the richness of the rest of the meal. Really nice hummus. Extra nutty flavor. You get some pita, too. It wasn't my favorite but it was soft and warm which is good enough. The mains came out but they initially forgot the sauce. When I asked for some they initially gave me tzatziki before getting it right the second time. The shawarma is really good! You can see the spit behind the counter so you know your getting the real deal, always a plus. Kifta was also excellent, and the rice is seasoned well. Tasty. Good portion on the plate as well, I took home leftovers and enjoyed them the next day. Cleanup is on you, and it's not convenient. I don't mind doing it typically. But I see this trend a lot now... one small garbage bin with the little plastic bucket on top for all of your stuff. Plates, silverware, plastic bussing trays, all supposed to go in this tiny thing? And it was already full. If this is the best you can do for a garbage you've got to keep it cleaner. It shouldn't be an awkward chore to simply throw out my trash. Two more quick gripes. First, the bathroom isn't in the best shape. The dining area is nice, clean and modern, they should give the bathroom a matching remodel. Two, chairs are kind of uncomfortable. We need some padding. I really liked the food here. I like a more varied shawarma plate but if I play with the menu I think I can find a satisfying solution. This is probably going to be my go-to shawarma place for now. That said, I'd really give this visit a 3.5 for the issues I mentioned. I'll round up for the flavors!

As appetizers I got Jalapeño Poppers and a Veggie Basket. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the food and will remember to do so the next time. Let's start with the appetizers: the jalapeño poppers were your typical poppers, nothing special but straightforward. It was cooked properly and good. As for the veggie basket, I was a little disappointed at the amount we received. I expected more pieces but I guess it was ok so we can save room for the main dish. As for the stuffed pizza, it was not cut in perfect triangles and the crust at the cuts were smushed (it seemed like they need to sharpen their pizza cutter or they were training a new hire. The cut doesn't change the taste! It was delicious as normal. Perfect amount of cheese to get a nice cheese pull and the sauce was tangy and slightly has a sweetness to it. The crust was good and had that cheese that gets embedded inside the crust end. So good. The online ordering was easy and delivery came as promised. Overall, if you want good stuffed pizza , give them a try. I certainly will place an order again (hoping the pizza is cut like it is supposed to). If not, I'll certainly take a picture and send it over. I'll give it a 3 star rating today due to the cut of the pizza as the slices were not even and crust was crushed.

She got pan and bruschetta and cheesecake while I got a thin crust with pep, sausage, mushrooms along with the veggie basket. EVERYTHING was so good especially the pizza! I will be taking my remaining left overs back to AZ tomorrow lol. Service was great and fast and loved just hanging at the bar top seating. We also had a fun convo with whom we are assuming was an owner! She was such a blast and made it a great experience!! Next time I am back here I will be showing back up :)
