+.5 for service I love the location of this Yard House, right by Times Square and it's a huge space too. Never had any issues finding a large table in the three times I was here this past weekend. I didn't end up having any food here, but had drinks each time. Yes it's a bit pricey, but considering the location of this place you're gonna be paying higher than usual prices. And honestly for the convenience, size, and ambiance it was 100% worth it. Service was excellent, and they were very accommodating despite our increasingly large group size each time. The best part? This was one of the only places I went to where they split the bill by item, not by an equal share of money (e.g: Splitting a $30 bill by what you ordered, not splitting it 3 ways in where we pay $10 each, regardless of what we ordered). This is standard practice in Canada, and I was shocked by how most places don't do this in the US. Definitely recommend here for drinks after a stroll in the Theater District, especially if you're with a large group! read more

Beautiful Yardhouse location. I was interested and anxious in trying the Lobster noodles. I do not eat lobster very often, so this is a real treat for me. So many great things on the menu. After spending a couple of hours in Times Square, it was time for a brew. True, it might be touristy spot for a drink, but it was wasn't that crowded. Plus, the beers were divine. I had 3 Ayinger Celebrator. Malty beers are my favorite and this brew was pretty awesome. By the third, I was singing aloud to some 90s tunes that was blasting over the restaurants audio system. Oh, yeah. Service was great and during these times it was so good see the staff cheerful, attentive and knowledgeable. Sometimes, you get folks working the bar that really don't know their drinks. Jasmin was great she provided amazing service! She was kind and helpful also very patient with our party, the only thing I would say is I was really excited to get my beyond burger but she told me it was no longer on the menu and that's really all I wanted. She was very informative about the menu as my sister and father have allergies and dietary restrictions so she helped navigate our menu choice. The space was very chill, relaxing and laid back we got a great table so we could see the entertainment from inside and outside the restaurant. My friends always talk about this upscale restaurant bar nation wide and they are usually regular in NJ . Finally opened in the heart of Times Square.New York ! Stopped in here for a couple of drinks on a hot and muggy Saturday afternoon prior to our matinee at the nearby Nederlander Theater. The place is fairly huge, but is was quite cool, a respite from the heat. The bar was packed but we found two seats together. Huge selection of tap beers and a full bar for mixed drinks as well. Bartender was attentive. I started with a Petrus Cherry Chocolate Nitro Quad. I liked it, the chocolate and cherry flavor was there but not overpowering. I followed that with a London Pride (two actually). London Pride was my go to beer when I travelled to London some time ago, and if I spy it in America, I always get one or two. Good stuff. My better half had a Moscow Mule which she found refreshing. Three stars because the single stall unisex restroom on the first floor had a toilet that didn't flush. Great time at the Yard House tonight. It's a Thursday night and there is a 20 minute wait but the hostess is super friendly. However, after 5 minutes we find 2 seats at the bar, so we cancel our table reservation. At the bar Jasmine is so friendly with a great smile. We ordered are drinks and two appetizers; Fire Cracker Shrimp & Buffalo Tenders. The Fire Cracker shrimps were very tasty and came with what I would call hash browns on the bottom of the shrimp. The Buffalo Tenders were just too hot for me but made with good chicken. I also ordered a Grilled Chicken Creaser Salad which was delicious. Overall, great service... good food, I'd come back. We came here on a Friday night and it was packed. We stumbled onto this place while walking around Times Square and they were able to accommodate us at the bar without a reservation. We sat a the bar on the second floor and our bartender name was amazing. We are not big beer drinkers but he gave a lot of good recommendations and we ended on Cider. We ate at Yard House yesterday in Times Square and it was so disappointing. We live in the city and were in the area to see a show. Let me say, we thought it would be great as we frequent Yard House in Ridge Hill Yonkers and love it. First of all, the servers we didn't have one server, just random people were showing up at our table. I've been here for a beer or two before my boyfriend's band practice a couple of times now. It's hard to find a good spot to go to in Times Square. This spot does not have any kind of happy hour. It is however a chain across the United States and other locations from what I see on their online site do have happy hours lol. I can't speak for the food and or service really. I've just ordered drinks up at the bar. I do appreciate that they have different sized glasses you can order. Anything from a smaller beer goblet, to a regular pint glass, to a slightly larger pint glass, to a Yard sized glass. I'm personally a fan of the regular pint glasses because prices run steep depending on what you get. Beers range from like $7-14/15. What I am a fan of is that there are close to a hundred beers on tap. Some of which I haven't tried before which is a pleasant surprise. They have beer categorized in their menu by the type of ale: ipas, pilsners, stouts, browns, sours, wheats, etc. They also have their own Yard House brand of brews that are worth checking out. I recently visited the yard house Times Square with my family. Let me start by saying it was so busy. It was crazy in there but we only had to wait like 10 minutes for a table. I ordered the poke nachos which my kids didn't want to try but I loved so much. We also had the cheese curds starter. Full disclosure these were great on the first couple of bites but after about 10 minutes they all sort of congealed. For dinner I ate (upon my waiters suggestion) the Thai grilled pork chop. Wowie! This was so so good! Moist, sweet, spicy, savory, and to use my servers word- UNCTUOUS! It was so so good. And this brings me to my server. Katie the blonde from yard house. This girl was BUSY. She was training a man named Leo and I saw 4 or 5 other servers and MANAGERS come ask for her help with something. While she was working. She was calm and kind and patient with literally everyone. I tried to commiserate with her and tell her how hard it must be and she just laughed and smiled and told me it felt good to be useful. She took a photo with me and my kids and she recommended me one of the best beers I've ever tasted in my life- the new hollands dragons milk- which is delicious but not for the faint of heart. It was such a busy day for us all over the city but Katie and yardhouse were the only place where we felt calm and like we could relax. Give Katie a raise, yardhouse! And either way we love you! PS. It just gave me the whole Brickhouse vibes & all of the Brickhouses I've been at are kinda dirty lol. Our bartender(s) were super sweet. we had two that keep checking on us to see if we were okay. They let us taste test a couple of beers to make sure we get what we liked. The sours (beer) here were super yummy.
