These dumplings are still the best, they have reopened the doors at their original location, and they now accept Venmo ("yummydumpling" under businesses, don't forget to tip the workers folding dumplings all day long) as well as cash. I still stand by my recommendations of black fungus (delish for everyone, not just vegetarians!), and lamb (try it with this dipping sauce: soy sauce and chopped cilantro and/or scallions, plus a little black Chinese vinegar, sesame oil, and simple syrup, and chili sauce/pepper flakes). Though I've honestly liked every dumpling flavor I've tried, as well as the other items.

The dumplings here are excellent. We got the potstickers, wonton and the soup dumplings. They are an excellent value and they come frozen. When I cook them on the steamer or pan fry them I they rival Din Tai Fung! Just remember to bring a cooler if you buy a lot of them.

I make it a point to buy a coolers worth of hand made frozen dumpling to bring back to central California every time I visit SF. Great flavor and hand made skins are perfection. My favorite is pork with Chinese spinach , and newly discovered chicken w/ corn. Note - pick up is now from King of Noodles across the street. (Feb 2022)

First time coming to this spot and had a great foodie adventure! There's a walk up table that you tell the lady what you'd like from the menu and she pulls it out of a large freezer and hands it to you. Can't be faster than that! Great prices that were very reasonable. Came home and cooked what I bought, which were soup dumplings, pork/shrimp dumplings, and pork wonton. All were delicious and unique in their own ways! Excellent flavor, inside was moist with good texture, the wrappers held up well on the wontons. I would definitely come back to replenish my stock of wontons and dumplings from Yummy Dumpling. Plenty of other items I'd like to try from their menu in future!

Wow! Expertly made dumplings are hand made in house. These are frozen for you to pick up and take home. They give you directions on how to cook. They also provide these to the restaurant up the street called King of Noodle!! Yes, we will be back!!

This place is a find. You can buy frozen handmade dumplings by the bag. I usually bring a cooler to transport home.

Seriously just get their pork with chives dumplings! It's the best one there. So easy to make, boil for 10-15mins. They take cards!

This restaurant has both table seats and also booth seats and the staff let us choose where we wanted to sit (probably since the restaurant was empty at that time). Anyways, we ordered a Turkey sandwich with Fries, The Famous Bill's Hamburger w/ Potato Salad, and a Rocky Road Milkshake. Everything tasted good, but we do wish the portion size of the burger was a bit larger than the side item. We did like how juicy the burger was though and I loved how large the milkshake here is and how unique the flavor seemed! The turkey sandwich here didn't have anything special about it, but still tasted good enough. I'd recommend this place! We loved everything we got from the restaurant that day, but our favorite was the milkshake because of the size. Next time, I want to try their other burgers and more of their milkshakes and desserts.

When it arrived, the patty itself was cooked exactly how I wanted it, nice and juicy with that perfect rare center. However, I noticed after taking a bite that the sandwich was missing the veggies I had expected. It only had the grilled onions, so it felt like something was lacking in terms of texture and balance. I didn't end up mentioning it to the staff since I wasn't very hungry to begin with, and I had already started eating. I actually didn't even finish the second half. That said, I did enjoy the coleslaw--it stood out because it wasn't the typical version you usually get, which was a nice surprise. Overall, while the quality of the patty itself was great, the missing ingredients made the experience feel a bit incomplete.

The short ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and come in a rich stew with potatoes, carrots, turnip, and rice cakes, plus two bowls of rice. You can choose your spice level and pick between white or purple rice. . It also comes with the usual banchan. Kimchi, pickled radish, fish cake, and cucumber. Nothing really stands out, but they were all fresh. One thing I always wish is that the stew came with more rice cakes since there are only a few scattered throughout. Luckily, you can order extra, and I'd definitely recommend doing that if you're enjoy them as much as I do. I've also had the bibimbaps, and they are really good too. The restaurant is small, quiet, and feels like a true neighborhood spot. Service is pretty casual not super attentive but everyone has always been friendly. Nothing fancy, just consistently good Korean comfort food. I'll definitely keep coming back.

Quality/Quantity - We had a large group, thank you for accommodating. I believe we made reservations, where we would not be seated until everyone showed up. Good thing the group all showed up on time (for once, lol). Ordered the following for our table, our other table had our larger half of the group. But due to the door mishap, I did not want to walk over to take pictures of their food/order. Okonomiyaki Fries - Was too soggy for me, but everyone else on our table enjoyed it. Popcorn Salmon - I did not enjoy this, but everyone else on both tables loved it, so it was "a me problem." Boneless Fried Chicken - I enjoyed it, but no one else did?!?! I guess I have very different tastes from this group...? Tonkatsu Ramen - Good. But very basic. Beef Short Rib Plate - Three orders, both people enjoyed it. Actually, our young eater ate 1.5 of this plate, 1/2 from his mom's order. This order also came with a side salad and steamed rice. Bulgogi Plate - I can't remember if I got my rice?!?! Well, the beef was of decent quantity, I actually brought a little back home for leftovers, with the boneless fried chicken. At home, it was a little too salty, too much soy sauce. Sizzling Bibimbap - My daughter's dish which was also good. I believe she had leftovers. Our other table got the regular bibimbap, they said next time they will try the sizzling as they felt that was better. Lastly, our guest on the other table ordered one of each dessert for both tables. Mango Panna Cotta & Chocolate Tartufo - I am not a chocolate person, but enjoyed the Tartufo better. Our guest wanted Soju! The first time, so we ended up ordering two hot larges. Smooth and went down too easily. I then finished my meal with a Ballast Point Sculpin IPA. Boy I miss this beer, I have not had in a while. Too busy supporting local breweries. Overall, the food was just okay for me and my daughter. Ambiance - Outside looks good, and new. Love the menus and the happy hour information. Might come back for HH. Small local restaurant. A few tables and bar seating. Clean restrooms, two unisex. Street metered parking, free after 6pm. Plenty of street parking. Service - Okay, the front door has issues... It stays open, then does NOT close. It is slanted, so you have to "force" it to close. When we ALL got here, I guess we left the front door open by accident. Well, the waitress did NOT appreciate that (I stayed outside taking my Yelp pictures while everyone else walked in). She gave me a LOOK... While I was still outside, more people came in and I tried to close the door for them and because the door is slanted, it did not close and had to be "forced" resulting in a slam, sorry. Got another look... After that, I went straight to my seat. Menus on the table. Price - Expensive, or did we order too much? I think our bill with tax and tip came out to almost $800. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2017; look forward to trying your happy hour.

I found out about the workshop through the Japanese Cultural and Community Center's newsletter and signed up by calling the JCCCNC directly, where you'll be able to pay via credit card.
