Very solid. Beautiful decor. It felt like it was an old establishment, but turns out it was recently constructed. I was very pleased with every aspect of the visit, the server, the food, the cocktail...excellent.

I attended a Yelp event at 13 Coins and what a memorable time! Located in Pioneer Square, hugged on a corner between Lumen Field and Embassy Suites, this gives it a wonderful location in a beautiful brick building. You walk in to a low lit, warm vibe. The servers were friendly. There's street parking available and we had no issue finding a spot at 5pm. Now what do they offer? They're known for their swiveling captain's chairs and all day breakfast! At our event, we tried their chicken & waffles, quiche, and mimosa. What a treat! Im still dreaming about the breading and flavor of their chicken - and I'm from the south so those are my credentials ;) We also tried their chicken parm sandwich and steak bites. The chicken parm sandwich was my husband and my favorite bite of the night. Again, the breading of this chicken was delicious. They ended the night with a chocolate mousse that was decadent. We can't wait to return and venture our way through the rest of the menu. Thanks Yelp & 13 Coins for hosting us.

I came here for the Elite event sponsored by Yelp, and I gotta say that I've been missing out. I've been coming to various different restaurants near the stadium area for years, and never bothered to check out 13 coins, and it's a huge mistake. First, the various bite sized food we got to try out was great. The Chicken and Waffle in particular stood out to me. You'd think it'd be a diner food menu, and not appropriate for the upscale venue that 13 coins is. However, the spicy syrup that it comes with plus very lightly fried layer of the chicken worked so well. The chicken parm, the frittata, and all the drinks were all fantastic, Second, the ambiance in the place is great too. I'd say it's a place to impress someone when you're going to an event at the stadium. The cozy interior with the cushioned booths and the low lamp lighting stands out as you walk around the place, and it's hard not to imagine that you are in some swanky speakeasy in a movie set. Strongly recommend. Finally, the service was great, but I was there for a catered event. So I'm not sure how representative my experience is for the normal visitors. However, all the staff seemed like the usual staff members at the restaurant and they were all above and beyond nice. Taking the time to explain each menu items was pleasant. Their efforts to let you know when more sampling plates were ready also showed their care. All in all, an amazing experience. Strongly recommend if you're trying to impress family members or a loved one, when you're nearby!

Varied menu. Service was sketchy initially as our reservation could not be confirmed. Prior to taking our order we were asked to confirm we did in fact have a reservation. My sesame seared ahi was missing pickled ginger. Waiter said they were out of pickled ginger.otherwise the meal was ok.

I went to an event at 13 coins and I had an experience that seemed to be both sides of the coin. I got to the event early and hung out in the lounge/bar until my wife arrived and the event started. It was a bit surreal sitting with Lumen Field Stadium lit up in the background. The bar had some regulars chatting and laughing, but this is Pioneer Square and let's say the area did create an interesting interaction inside the restaurant. When my lovely wife arrived we made our way downstairs to their event area. This is definitely the other side of the coin. The staff were incredible and attentive. I tried some of the small bites, and they were delicious. Im definitely not one to mix sweet food and savory food...but... the chicken was aggressively seasoned and I loved it. The waffle was delicious... I just can't eat them together. The frutatta was good. The chicken parmesan was really good, I had 2. The beef bite was delicious as well, my wife loved the sauce. Oh.. the small plate with the olives was a nice fresh break. We ended with a good chocolate mousse. Thank you 13 coins for a fun night with great service and atmosphere. The food made me want to come back for all the amazing flavors. My favorite was the chicken and waffle...eaten separately of course.

It's been a few years since the last time we were here, but I wanted to come back to try the antipasto martini (it was fine, but I wouldn't make a special trip again). I got the French onion soup and chicken parm and my bf got the veggie frittata. Everything was SO SALTY, the chicken was overcooked, and we never got water refills even though our server checked on us every 5 mins. I think we were her only table. We didn't tell her anything was wrong because she seemed new (not just to this restaurant, but to serving in general), and we were afraid any complaint would end up causing more trouble than it was worth. My soup and entree were brought at the exact same time, so that was our first clue. The decor is super cool. The downstairs bar seems like it would probably be more our vibe, but it wasn't open - it might just be for game days or something. But I think we'd limit ourselves to cocktails from now on, regardless. The food has missed the mark both times we've been, and it's well over $100 for 2 people with tip, so kind of an expensive failed experiment.

13 Coins is one of those classic Seattle spots that never disappoints. The service is consistently great friendly, attentive, and fast whether it's a busy night or a casual afternoon. The food is solid across the board, with big portions and reliable flavor that makes it easy to find something for everyone. What really makes this place stand out is the environment and (it's super close to my place) . It's perfect for family dinners, hanging out with friends on Seattle game days, or bringing out-of-town visitors who want that "Seattle staple" experience. The vibe is warm, lively, and welcoming without ever feeling overwhelming.

I'm up with an extra side of biscuits. Service was super attentive, and when I was asked if I wanted hot sauce for my eggs. The waiter brought it out unscrewed the top and laid it down on the table beside me. That was the extra mile for me, really simple. But extremely well appreciated. Portions were huge and I took home half. The biscuits were crispy and flakely and just hit the spot for what I wanted today. All the seats are high, back and cushioned totally a great experience for sitting.

I wanted a waffle and 13 Coins delivered! Best waffle ever! Sometimes I'll get a waffle and it's tasteless or mushy in the middle. 13 Coins makes perfectly crispy waffles with great taste! I had the fresh berry waffle with whipped cream. Husband had a wagu burger and my brother ordered the prime rib dip. We were all very happy with our orders. Our waiter was very friendly. We had a nice conversation about waffles and how much better tasting they are at 13 Coins over every other place. He thanked me for complimenting their waffles. We will definitely return!

Food here is constantly good! I've been 3 times over the past 2 weeks. I love the fact that it's open late too for Seattle (open until 1am). It's like very very upscale diner vibes. If you come in after 12pm however, they will rush you out to eat and finish your meal by 1am closing time

My friend and I visited for our first time and had such a wonderful experience, thanks in large part to Allan, our server. My childhood friend was visiting from Arizona, and since we're both originally from there (though I live in Washington now), it was especially nice how Allan connected with us in a way that felt warm and familiar. He was personable, funny, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the start. The food was just as impressive. Everything we ordered was so good--from the appetizer to our entrées, and especially the dessert. The crème brûlée was perfectly done and easily one of the highlights of the night. You can tell care goes into both the food and the overall experience. He also gave us excellent recommendations for both an appetizer and desserts, and both were absolutely worth it. Great service really can shape a dining experience, and Allan made this first visit memorable in the best way. Safe to say this is officially our spot whenever she's in town -- we'll definitely be back.

Just one slider because I forgot to take it before a picture and I ate some of the fries too. Good food for a great price.

Traveling out of town and on your last day when you've seen all that Seattle has to give you do just want some good food before you leave. They offer that and a great happy hour at night. They aren't necessarily connected to the hotel is what the bartender told me so depending on your bartender depends on whether or not you can take your food to go and drink upstairs.

Chicken wings, mixed veggie tray, 12oz ribeye with mixed grilled veggies and mixed green salad, 1 classic margarita & 1 Bloody Mary.

We're from L.A. and we come to Seattle one or two times a year, we stay at the Embassy Suites and come down to this restaurant every day during our stay, love the food, freshness and variety of choices, reasonable priced and the service is outstanding, our server Alan has been taking care of us since 2022 with incredible professionalism, the manager Bou is also a wonderful man, the ambiance is cozy great for any occasion. Truly recommend this Restaurant you won't be disappointed.

When will you return to 24 hours or change your marketing and signage? I walked down from SEATAC on layover to find the place closed.

We decided to head over here at 8 am on a Sunday, and there was STILL a line. Thankfully, the wait for us that early morning was only about 15 mins, but upon our walk out after eating, we noticed the line was nearly halfway down the block. Some people must have waited closer to an hour. Maybe show up as early as you can in the morning if you don't want to wait too long. We ordered the Corned Beef Silog, Combo Silog, and the Ube Pancake stack. The stack might look like a little, but even sharing it, we got really full. Those pancakes are DELICIOUS. Just make sure not to run out of the Ube syrup, or the pancakes themselves will be a little dry. We made that mistake, but the pancakes alone were still tasty. Highly recommend if you like taro-ish flavor or want something sweet. The food overall was delicious, it was about my second time trying lumpia and omg sooo good. One of the servers was kind enough to explain to us which part of the Philippines each of the sausages in the combo plate originates from. One was from the Northern part of the Philippines (think it's the Ilocos sausage, reddish color) and the other one was the classic longanisa. I got a calamansi juice and ommmgggg sooo delicious, I had never had it before, and now I've gotta figure out how to buy some to enjoy at home. The servers were all friendly and attentive, and the place itself was clean and inviting, with lots of nods to Filipino culture and the family that runs the restaurant. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good-quality, hearty Filipino breakfast. Depending on what you get, be prepared for a food coma afterward!

Unfortunately, they were not offering breakfast sandwiches on the day we visited, which was a large part of their food menu. The service was fast and friendly. This place does have a bit of a fancier vibe, so we opted to order and go since our kids were with us. They do have cute little seating options inside and outside- always a perk! We just ordered a drip coffee and a pistachio cream latte. The Pistachio Cream latte was amazing, but we wished it had a tad more pistachio flavor. The drip coffee was good. Worth the visit if you're nearby!

He drinks his coffee black, so flavor really matters, and this one delivered. It was smooth, complex, and honestly the perfect start to our day--it had him energized and ready to take on anything. I went with the "Sunggle Me Sesame" (espresso, toasted black sesame sauce, brown sugar syrup, and oat milk), and it was phenomenal. I'm not usually a fan of sweet drinks, but this was beautifully crafted--not overly sweet, just a perfect balance of nutty, toasty, and slightly sweet flavors. It felt unique, comforting, and incredibly well thought out. Overall, such a standout coffee spot with creative drinks and exceptional quality. Highly recommend!

I noticed the salmon on the menu and decided to give it a try since I was looking for something a little lighter. I am so glad I did. Without exaggeration, it was the best salmon I've ever had. The fish was cooked perfectly, and the sauce and accompanying ingredients brought everything together beautifully. Every bite was outstanding. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was fantastic, the service was friendly and attentive, and the bar offered a great selection of cocktails and spirits. If you're visiting Seattle or looking for a great dining experience, I would absolutely recommend Shaker + Spear. The salmon alone is worth coming back for.

It's nice to watch the staff cook because it tells you that the food is fresh. I have high expectations for seafood in Seattle. However, I was disappointed with the scallops as it tasted raw and cool to the touch in the center. I'm not a scallop expert but this one missed the mark - the flavors were off with the sauce (tasted earthy). Presentation and color looked good, but this didn't taste good. Also came here breakfast several times. I don't have pictures, but each time the breakfast was amazing!
