The only time I didn't enjoy my drink was when I ordered a floral black tea and they gave me a different black tea order with a similar name. I didn't enjoy the whip cream and toffee topping. My go-to drink is Jasmine milk tea. I'm glad they have oat milk for those with lactose intolerance. Even with oat milk the tea is nice and creamy. read more

Favorite drinks so far The coconut matcha - light refreshing, the matcha shines and makes the consistency of the drink for creamy while the coconut water adds a nice mellow sweetness/refreshing aspect. Another boba shop to try in the Santa Anita Mall! 3Cat is a super cute aesthetic boba spot located on the outside area of the Shops at Santa Anita near Macy's entrance. My husband and I were looking to try out a new boba place today and found 3Cat on Yelp and it came highly recommended, so we gave it a go! The shop is kiosk ordering and very similar Yi'Fang in that they have a screen that shows you your live wait time and your current number/spot in line and when your order is ready, all super convenient. Today we tried out the Fruit Salad at 50% sweetness without any additions. Even though there was a line when we got there we waited about 5 minutes for our drink so it was pretty quick. The flavor was good and tasted very fresh, not overly sweet or syrupy which can often happen at other boba shops. We really wanted something light and refreshing and this drink hit the spot! We also loved the decor with the cute cat figurines everywhere in the store. read more

It's good but you have to love avocado and I feel like you have to be in the :::mood::: to drink it. It's more of a dessert than a refreshing drink too. It's also on the heavy side. This one is one of their most popular. I see a lot of people ordering it. Mochi mango: I liked this one better than the avomango. I felt like it wasn't as sweet and tasted very tropical and light. The Icy Peach (seasonal) was SO good. BEST peach drink ive ever had. It had bits of fresh peach that were so crunchy and so sweet. I even got boba, and I didnt expect it to be so good! The texture was perfect and it was perfectly sweetened on the inside as well. HANDS down the best peach drink Ive ever had!! And I am so picky on my peach drinks!! We also got Jasmine green latte! I really appreciate when the service is good which is a great deciding factor on whether or not I come back to an establishment . My family and I got the lime drink and the mango slushie because they were top recommended . Tbh I didn't like the lime and I'm a big lime fan, it tasted like syrup and not natural in my opinion but the mango slushie was good. Some boba places do and don't let you switch out your drink if you don't like it but thankfully this place did and I switched my lime for a matcha taro which tasted really good. I really wanted to try this place and when I did don't get me wrong is was delicious! However, it was the dumb 1 kiosk ordering station that was mind blowing to me. The reason for the ridiculous long lines and wait times is due to the 1 kiosk station that they have. They had so many staff on deck just waiting and standing around. That made zero sense to me. I came on a Thursday so it was rather empty. I stood in line and there was about 4 parties in front of me, not bad right? Well, there were a couple of bozos that were gossiping and laughing at the kiosk and I kid you not when I say they took about 20 minutes to order 2 drinks. 2 of the parties in front of me got tired of waiting so they left. One of the staff finally got the common sense to use her little machine to take orders. But when it came to my turn she thought the bozos were done ordering because they checked out, so she told me to wait for the kiosk. Little did we know these two bozos only ordered one drink during that 15 minutes and then the other bozo took 5 minutes to order her drink. My whole complaint and low stars are solely for the service. They should definitely add another kiosk or make use of their staff and take orders as well. Drinks: I ordered the mango mochi and it was Dahm delicious. As upset as I was I wasn't that upset anymore after receiving my drink. I also ordered a peach oolong for the next day and that was yummy as well. Husband got an avocado mochi thing and it was meh. I think too many toppings going on so it takes away from the drink. With the Arcadia mall already crowded with its boba scene, 3Catea differentiates with the drink mixes and the toppings they have. Compared to Meet Fresh right next door, their options are more unique. I came here this past Sunday and wanted some boba to cool off from the triple digit heat. The line formed outside the store but it was relatively quick. They had one of their staff standing by the door to take order with a mobile phone, along with the option to order at the tablet inside the store. Their mochi topping was quite unique, and I think is good with non-fruity drinks (such as milk tea, smoothie, etc.). The mochi has gooey texture, very milky. Think of a milky/cheesy version of herbal jelly. I ordered the Jasmine milk tea with mochi at slightly sweet (lowest sweetness level beside 0%). I actually really liked it, since I was really able to taste the fragrance of the tea itself! The 3-star I'm giving to 3Catea mostly has to do with service. I approached the staff member who was standing outside, expecting them to give me some sort of guidance on navigating the mobile phone, or even click the order for me. I could barely hear anything the staff was mumbling to a point where I had to lean in and had him repeat what he was saying several times. He wasn't even wearing a mask so there's no excuse! He was also very timid and I couldn't tell if he was new, but overall not helpful to my ordering experience. The drink I wanted is sold out, and he could not provide me an alternative... I resorted to ordering at the kiosk where I didn't feel the pressure of him holding the mobile phone for me to order, where I was able to navigate on a bigger screen that offered pictures to the drinks. I later then found out from my friend, that the staff added $1 tip to the order that she placed with him on the mobile phone, without her consent. I had no idea I could crave rice mochi - it has the texture of a soft mozzarella cheese, gooey, sticky, and slightly sweet with rice pieces.
