The peach is so fresh and you can taste the chunks of fresh peach inside the drink. Their cheese foam is also delicious and balances out the sweetness of the fruit so well. We recently visited this new location at Arcadia Mall, which has taken over the previous Taiwanese café that didn't quite make it. The new boba chain specializes in drinks with mochi, which is a delightful twist. As a long-time fan of their barley mochi drink from other locations, I was excited to try this brand new spot to checkout their service But my wait time was longer than expected, as there's only one tablet station for placing orders. OVERALL : Finally had a chance to try this new boba shop that I've been hearing so much about, and I can see why there's a line for them during peak hours now! The self order kiosk is quick and easy + and their employees are kind and helpful. Drinks can take a little while to come out if they're busy, but not excessive on the day I went. PARKING : This shop is located on the outside promenade area of the Arcadia Mall / "The Shops at Santa Anita". This is a big mall with multiple parking lots inside and outside. Parking can be a lil rough during peak hours, but you'll find something after a little while. I like to park in the Macy's indoor/underground lot and take the escalators up to the promenade. Surrounded by plenty of competition, this rather new addition to Arcadia Mall caught my eye with their unique drink choices and toppings. Off the bat, I noticed that this wasn't necessarily a boba shop, but rather a dessert drink shop. They don't really advertise their boba in their displays (despite offering 3 types of boba), but rather other toppings like mochi, cheese mousse, and barley popping boba. Ordering was straight forward. They have a little kiosk for you to order with and will call your name when your drink is ready. I was intrigued by the thought of mochi as a topping, along with barley popping boba, so I ordered the Mochi Barley Burst. As a certified Asian, you just KNOW I ordered it with "less sugar"! First sip and I was confused and blown away at the same time. POP! went the boba leaving a piece of barley in my mouth, like HUH?! Delicious. The barley reminded me of oats in a way that it felt so satiating. This was practically a MEAL. And then the mochi - the texture was so unusually satisfying because it was slightly more viscous than regular mochi while also retaining its QQ chew. Adding viscosity to mochi in order to make it drinkable through a straw = GENIUS. And BURST that barley did. Mochi Barley Burst 5/5 stars!------------------------ Another day I had to go back to try something else on the lighter side. As a fan of both mango and cheese separately, I never thought of combining them together. I went with the Cheese Mango and added brown sugar boba for 75 cents just to try it out. I'm no stranger to cheese foam so I knew how to take the first sip - without the straw, sip through the side opening with a slow gentle tilt to get the cheese foam, followed by a hard tilt of the drink to get the mango. SUBLIME. The cheese foam was salty and creamy and paired well with the REAL ripe mango. It was so JUICY and sweet and not in an artificial way. Next time I'd skip the brown sugar boba - it lacked sweetness and was kind of undercooked. The boba left much to be desired. I was here for the grand opening for 3CAT Handcrafted Beverage here at the mall in Arcadia. They're located next to CPK and also meet fresh on the promenade side of the mall. I was actually here for another tea place across the way from here and I saw that there was another line here and I was definitely curious about what was going on here. I got in line and placed an order for my drink. The employees were really helpful and helped all of us through ordering the kiosk. You put your name and your telephone number in there and you're able to follow along when your drink is going to be done. It also roughly also tell you the time and when it's going to be ready. However with it being one of their first days it did take a little bit long for drinks to be ready. The good thing is through the app they will text you when your drink is ready so you don't have to wait around. I am a big fan of their ordering platform especially with so much else to do here in the mall you don't have to be in the store or around it to be waiting I ordered the mango sweet dew drink. The description of it sounded really refreshing. The drink was really good and I can't wait to try some of the other drinks. We got to try 3Cat for the first time during grand opening weekend. The BOGO deal was worth it! We went on Friday night and the wait time to order in store was kind of long because people were ordering multiple drinks and/or didn't know what they wanted. Line looked short but took 20 min! The wait for the drink was also about an hour. I'm sure the wait isn't as long anymore without the grand opening deal going on. We also ended up here again on Sunday but I ordered online when they opened and my drink was ready in 10 minutes. What we ordered (all minimal sugar) Avomango sweet dew: tasty! still thought this was on the sweet side though from the ripe mangos though. Osmanthus oolong tea with soybean mousse: first time trying soybean mousse and I couldn't really taste a difference from cheese foam topping. Even with minimal sweet I thought the tea was still pretty sweet. This was probably my favorite of all the ones we tried. Would definitely order again. Mochi barley burst: good tea flavor! The barley popping boba was interesting and not very sweet. Mochi was soft and a nice addition as well. White peach oolong tea with soybean mousse: could really taste the peach flavor in the first few sips but flavor gets lost after a while. Overall, this is a cute boba shop with cute cat theming. However, our order was at least taken a bit earlier by the cashier before we got to the kiosk so that at least sped it up by a tad bit - and the wait was about 10 minutes after placing our order. The interior is pretty small and noisy, so it's more of a spot to grab your drink and leave to walk around the rest of the mall. Some of the best teas and drinks I've ever had! That mango mochi drink is my go to! I usually change the topping to cheese foam, there's something about the sweetness of the drink and the saltiness of the foam that just compliments each other! The only time I didn't enjoy my drink was when I ordered a floral black tea and they gave me a different black tea order with a similar name. I didn't enjoy the whip cream and toffee topping.
