Delicious and served with warm bread. Salads Local Strawberry and Arugula - served as a high tower of greens and mixed with strawberries, cheese, and adequate amount of pistachio dressing; this salad is very refreshing! Grilled Cesar Salad - served as a shareable and large portion. Grilled sections of the salad enhance the flavors of the salad, dressing, croutons, cherry tomatoes, and hearts of palm. Main Menu Chicken piccata - the best piccata I've ever had! The crust of the chicken is amazing and the amount of lemon sauce and capers is perfect. Served with grape tomatoes and either mashed potatoes or Cacio e Pepe pasta (I've tried both version). Filet mignon - a decent portion size served with roasted garlic and sauce. Roasted mushrooms - a nice portion of lightly seasoned mushrooms. I prefer this mushroom to be stuffed. Charred Broccolini - delicious and perfectly seasoned! We had to order two servings of this! Macaroni and cheese - small portion of baked Mac n Cheese; it had a unique taste that wasn't pleasant, so this is the only dish we didn't enjoy too much. Drinks - they have an abundance of alcoholic drinks and everything we've tried is good, so you can't go wrong. Desserts Lemon Meyer cheesecake - very light and too sweet, very delicious! GIRLS NIGHT WAS A SUCCESS thanks to our time at A PCH. It seems as if we ordered everything off the menu (check out my pics lol). Even the pickiest of eaters will find something to enjoy! Among many "favorite parts," one of them is that they offer a discount at the bar called a "night cap" after dining! I did not partake this night but it was good to know. PLUS! They have an epic Photo Booth which we went spent a fair amount of time in haha! I love that LB is popping up with so many new restaurants that are worth checking out and exceed expectation. Came here for a friends birthday and the service was AMAZING !! My husband and I got here 30 minutes early and got a couple drinks at the bar and an appetizer and even that service was fast and so attentive. Our server Recee was so nice and had the best recommendations. She was very patient with our group since it was our first time. I'm not sure what I expected when I heard "breakfast pizza," but I was definitely happy with the decision! The food and drinks were all great, especially the breakfast pizza. Updated review. Changed stars due to our request to sit in booth and was told they are for larger parties. It was my husband and I and we said ok then we will sit by the window. Sat down and sank to the bottom of the chair and the table met up almost to my head. The chairs are well sat in and then noticed that the plates that are on the table when seated were dirty with dry food. Needless to say we left and while leaving we seen two other couples sitting in the booths. Not sure what that was about but we do not have any plans on returning. It is so sad because we usually love eating here. It is not always just about the taste of food but also about the service and cleanliness of the restaurant. BTW. I stopped in on a random weekend with my hubby for some brunch. We were hungry and my hubby was sold at the "horchata pancakes". I like to have something savory in the morning so I ends up ordering the skirt steak and eggs that came with duck fat hashbrowns. The skirt steak was extremely tender and flavorful. Honestly i was really wowed with it. AND THE SAUCE. THE SAUCE. Omg. I was gonna lick the plate if it wasn't such a sophisticated restaurant. That sauce and steak was just a whole different level. Kisses to the chef honestly. The hash browns.... Not for me. There was a herb or something that I just didn't like personally. The horchata pancakes were good. It had a different texture, not the typical fluffy buttermilk style of pancakes but it was really nice. I didn't feel bloated or anything after it. Not really "horchata" though. The sauce for it didn't really give me horchata flavors. The ambiance was really cool it gave me like classy vibes. Almost an older sophisticated style of dining. Taking off a star because one of our cocktails was awful but they got us a better cocktail right away and the butter lettuce salad unfortunately was smothered in dressing. The slow service at A PCH was disappointing as a first-timer. My friends chose this restaurant to celebrate their birthday since they liked the reviews on their steaks. We went on a Saturday night reservation for 5 people and were seated right away. We got served waters, and had so much time to view the menu that we had picked out our entire order (drinks, apps, entrees and sides) by the time the server came lol. Food breakdown: 1/2 dozen oysters (5 stars)-- great flavor and sauces. Fair price. Salmon belly crudo (4 stars)-- light citrus and strawberry sauce with tiny pieces of salmon. Would be better served with like a rice paper chip. Expensive. Ribeye 16oz (4 stars)-- juicy, served with roasted garlic. Expensive. A5 Wagyu 2oz (5 stars)-- 5 bite size pieces of decadent wagyu.. loved the sauce and baby oyster mushrooms. Expensive. Filet mignon (3 stars)-- decent portion. Cooked medium rare but tasted dry. Fair price Skirt steak entree -- my friend ordered this and finished her plate. Looked really tasty. Dirty pasta -- my friend ordered this and finished his plate. Also looked really tasty. Asparagus side (4 stars) -- huge asparagus, very chewy Mushrooms side (3 stars) -- tangy, but plain and a small portion Puree potato side (4 stars) -- Wolfgang puck recipe because I make this at home Corn esquites side (5 stars) -- tied with my Wagyu as most flavorful. There is a $150 charge (I think, or is it more??) for no shows or reservations not cancelled before 24 hours. They were kind enough to give me a call to confirm my reservation. My party and I were greeted and had such a pleasant experience overall. It's a beautiful establishment with a view of the Long Beach harbor, inside of 2nd & PCH, located on the second floor next to Ola. There is ample parking - two garages on either end of the mall. Parking is complimentary for the first 90 minutes. There is no validation. I don't know how much it is per 15 minutes after the 90 minutes lapsed, but since my party and I were in the restaurant for about 3 hours, some of us decided to stick around and hang out at the mall for tree lighting and snow. My parking fee was a solid $20 for 5 hours of parking. Definitely a must try. You will enjoy! read more

I think the food here is great but this review is just based on the fact that we went for an early dinner during the heat wave and there is no A/C. I should have realized that since one side of the resto is completely open to the balcony. I think I got steak when we went for dinner and the broccolini was an oil sponge. Yuck. We went again for brunch and I had no complaints. When the weather is nice, it is a wonderful spot. I highly recommend the meatball appetizers, the crispy chicken sandwich and the Mexican benedict. I came to A PCH for my birthday brunch with 2 friends. We had an amazing time. The ambiance is elegant and beautiful. We sat in a big curved booth with a view of the marina. Since it's glass it's cold so they had heat lamps which were helpful. Our sever was kind and took great care of us. We started with espresso martinis which were strong but tasty. We shared a breakfast pizza which was different but delicious. We also shared the lemon ricotta pancakes which had blueberries on them as well. Very good. The hostess brought us to our table where we were seated in the back with a great view and comfy plush seats right before sunset. For our appetizer we ordered the Diver Scallops with the yellow curry sauce... delicious!! Would order this again all for myself because I know now that I don't want to share this. For sides, we ordered Charred Broccolini, Corn Esquites, Spinach Gnocchi and Potato Purée. Everything was delicious and generous portions. I ordered the Filet Mignon 8oz (medium rare) which came with this yummy roasted half garlic. I already can't wait to come back and I'd order this again! My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary dinner. They very very nice and accommodating as I asked to switch the table for a nicer view. We got complimentary Prosecco for a toast. The waitress was fantastic, she was always there when we needed something but would not unnecessarily interrupt our conversation the octopus appetizer was probably my favorite dish, it was fantastic, tender and flavorful. I had the skirt steak which I thought was ok, and that might be just that skirt steak isn't my favorite. My boyfriend had the burger and enjoyed it. We celebrated valentine day on a Sunday and we got a rare night out away from the kids. We had reservations and it was fairly busy when we arrived. We loved the ambience At the bar and sunset views and were eager to get cocktails ordered. We waited 20 minutes and our waiter never arrived. Finally a lady came by with some water and thought she was going to take our order. After nearly 30 minutes we let her know we were completely overlooked. She sent the waitress over who apologized and then went above and beyond by letting us know our meal and drinks were fully comped. The bud in drinks and Chicken pic arts were delicious. We also ordered the ahi salad and apple pie. We complimented the chef and the lady came back with a gift card hoping we would come back. We thanked her. We have never had such a whiplash of an experience and really appreciated how much care was put ii to our experience. My friend had the short rib ravioli that she enjoyed a lot. My friend and I also shared the chocolate mousse dessert. It was good. Service: Our service was lacking initially as no one knew who our table belonged to. When our server came by finally, he apologized a lot for the mishap and felt bad as he had walked by our table several times. Luckily, my friend and I were not in a rush so it wasn't the worst. Afterwards, our service was friendly and fine. There are a couple of kinks to work out, but I think they'll improve over time. I've been here over 50 times in the last few months and each time hits like the first. Tonight's experience was unmatched as our waitress Delia went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of! You can't go wrong with anything you order as it always comes out fresh! I love their spicy yellowfin tuna app, their Caesar salad, their charred broccolini and their fancy pizza! I will inhale these dishes every single time because they do not miss! As full as I am I will always have room for the corn madeleines! Whewww! Today, Delia brought us their peach tart and look, peach tart was not on my bingo card, but I'm so happy it showed up! Wow.
