I got the kimchi & pork dumplings and the pork chop, and my friend got the signature potstickers and soup. My dumplings were very ok. I just wasn't a big fan of the flavors, but the textures were great and it wasn't bad. I preferred my friend's signature potstickers, which had great textures as well. I preferred her filling and she preferred mine, so maybe try both and see which one you like. They have some sauces as well to go with the dumplings - garlic, soy sauce, black vinegar, chili garlic sauce, and sesame oil. However, the pork chop was delicious. It smelled amazing out of the box, its breading is studded with warming spices like cinnamon and nutmeg maybe? It also has a bit of sweetness that makes for a nice sweet-savory flavor. I like Bafang for everything but their beef noodle soup. Topping to broth ratio was not enough and I also found the beef to be slightly overcooked. However the portion is huge and perfect for sharing. The pepper chicken is solid and I love that the sauce has a slight kick to it. Number 14- potstickers with dry spicy noodle. The wonton soup is felt it was a little salty with the soup. Wonton is a little mushy. The spicy wonton is better because the soup version is making it further mushy. The spicy noodle is very good. Noodle has a good bite. Not really that spicy but still has a good kick. I ended up ordering: Bafang Signature Noodle, $6.95 prior to tax- The signature noodles have a peanut sauce flavor to it that is pretty tasty and the portion size is good to share with another person (or can be a filling meal for one). These noodles have chili powder added to it, giving it a kick. Old Fashioned Noodle, $6.95 prior to tax- Similar to the signature noodles, but has bean sprouts added to it. Sesame Noodle, $6.95 prior to tax- Also similar to the other 2 noodle dishes. Spicy Wonton, $5.50 prior to tax. Comes in order of 5 pieces- My husband devoured these all and enjoyed them. 12 Kimchi & Pork Dumpling, $10 prior to tax- These steamed dumpling were tasty with pork and a little added spicy kick with the kimchi. I was super excited to try this place with my husband. I've never been to the ones in Taiwan, but I would like to in order to make a comparison in the future. Bafang is nestled between Summer Rolls and Sunmerry Bakery. The plaza here has a ton of good food, so there's many options for not just food, but boba tea (Tea Station), dessert (Meet Fresh), and crepes (T-Swirl Crepe, although this shop changes often) also. It's not a large shop by any means, max capacity on the wall says 28. But at the time we went, which was around 7:15pm, we were easily able to find parking right in front of the restaurant and get a table as well. We ordered Combo #1, the Signature Potstickers that you get 12 of, and you get a choice of a drink or soup. I chose the hot and sour soup as it was a chilly night. If you get cold easily like I do, make sure to dress properly; there is no heater on and the doors are left open. We also ordered Combo #8 with the Old Fashioned Noodles and Pork Chop which comes with a Lemon Black Tea. There's a station with utensils, water, water cups, sauces (garlic sauce, soy sauce, black vinegar, sesame oil and chili sauce) and sauce cups. All self serve. For one sauce I mixed garlic sauce, soy sauce, black vinegar, and sesame oil. The other I just had the chili sauce by itself. Anyways, the only reason this didn't get a 5* review is because we placed our order around 7:15pm (which was our receipt) and we didn't get our food till 7:40pm. It wasn't exceptionally busy either, there was no line at the register or a bunch of people waiting. Just the amount of people for the tables minus 1 or 2 tables. Other patrons that ordered after we did had received their food, had eaten and left already. At first, we thought the pork chop must take longer and we patiently waited, but as the numbers called got larger and farther after ours, we realized they must have forgotten to give us our food. Upon asking they immediately brought our food to us and apologized. I was happy with the flavor of all of the food, but because our food sat longer, we didn't get to enjoy the pork chop or potstickers as crispy and fresh (they were slightly soggy/softened) as we would have liked to. Everything was still warm and the soup was still actually super hot that it could burn your throat if you weren't careful, which I was pleased with, given how we didn't get our food right away. I ordered the #4 combo with signature potstickers and noodles with a side of signature dumplings. Service: First time, so went to counter as there was no line. Not really helpful or happy to be there :) No biggie. I don't like to work either :). Issue was the wait. Takes like 20 mins. Things should taste fresher and crisper if made fresh while you wait. 2.5 stars because fast casual food is convenient, but the quality wasn't up to snuff even with decent pricing. The guotie aka potstickers were not crispy enough (surprisingly, the chicken & corn potstickers were better than signature). And the beef noodle soup itself didn't have tender beef and enough vegetables. It was a great soup base though but for $17 it should be better overall, especially for fast casual! read more

Glad we waited for the hype to slow down a bit before we finally Bafang Dumplings, because now you can order online for the TC location and are ready for pickup in about 20-25 minutes. Everything is packed as to-go order, however they do have about 3 small tables to enjoy your food there. This location has some shared community tables just outside of Summer Rolls. You are given a buzzer if you place your order at the restaurant. My order was not quite ready when I got to the restaurant, so I went to get my sauces ready. They had soy sauce, garlic, chili sauce and sesame oil. But once I got my food, I realized it wasn't really needed since everything was quite tasty already! The 2 of us shared: Combo 4 signature noodles with pot stickers. The noodle was delicious coated with a sesame sauce. The potstickers were meaty and crunchy! Note that they actually forgot my potstickers in my order. I went back and the lady was so nice to apologize right away as she gave me my potstickers. Corn and Chicken Dumpling - since most Chinese dishes are usually with pork, but this chicken dumpling was quite good Spicy Wonton - too spicy and oily for me, but hubby enjoyed this dish. He end up using the sauce/oil for the noodles Fried pork chop - already cut into pieces and the batter is thin Signature Dumplings - love the crunch with the celery and cabbage. Bafang is in a American fast food chain so there are a lot of parking because obviously no one really goes to this center. However, Bafang became crowded after my friend and I stepped in after 11AM because we're the lucky cats. We ordered chili peppers fried chicken, TW beef noodles, and kimchi and Bafang potstickers, and a pig ear side total of $46 included tax. We were so full. According to my TW friend, food tastes like in TW. The soup is fragrant. I prefer the original potstickers but my friend liked kimchi one. The fried chicken was so big and crispy. I totally recommend Service is very fast and mostly self-serve. All sauces and water are up to grab outside. read more

I'm SO HAPPY Bafang Dumpling has made its way to the 626 - now I don't have to drive 30 minutes to get dumplings. I've had Bafang Dumpling in Taiwan multiple times and the taste is pretty consistent! I wasn't sure when I'd get to try this location, but luckily one of my friends suggested it for dinner. We ordered noodles, signature potstickers, corn chicken potstickers, and signature dumplings. Surprisingly, the signature dumplings were my favorite. It was juicy, plump with filling, and wasn't too greasy. My second favorite was the chicken corn potstickers, which are normally my favorite in Taiwan. I love that you get to make your own dipping sauce at the little sauce bar. I wish they were more eco-friendly since everything is packaged in to-go containers. In total, the bill came out to $41 amongst 4 people, and we were stuffed by the end (there were even leftovers)! There's one unisex restroom and plenty of free parking in the lot and an underground garage. read more
