I got a nail in one of my tires and it's in a really weird spot so Big O said they could not simply patch the tire after the nail removal. Understandable. But they also said they could not just replace one of my tires, but had to REPLACE ALL 4 for $1,600. LOL. $1,600 for a nail in a tire....Luckily I took my car elsewhere to get another quote and yes - I had to get a whole new tire but only 1. This company is out here trying to scam people, DO NOT GO HERE!! There are plenty of other tire businesses out there. I called the night before my visit to make sure they had the tires I needed, and Steve was helpful in picking out tires that gave me the best value for my money and didn't try to upsell me. On the day of the appointment, Steve was extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. Didn't try to upsell me any of the services or packages either - he just focused on providing good service. Service was efficient and quick - I was in and out just under 2 hours (replaced all 4 tires, alignment, etc.), which was the estimate Steve provided before the service started. If you don't want to wait inside the shop, there are plenty of establishments nearby where you can pass the time. I'd definitely come back to this establishment. read more

Why would I even bother to spend the time writing a review for a tire change? Scheduled an appointment for Thursday online, no ne called to even see what tire I needed before the appointment. I called the morning of and was told the tires I needed had to come in from LA even though it was available online at this location. Day goes by. Two days goes by. I call back wondering what's going on. Oh, my tires already arrived! LOL! Dropped off my car Saturday afternoon, got a call an hour later, my car needs a $220 alignment. Huh? No. Picked up my car and left, got home to see $8 per tire nitrogen fill up (not requested) and $35 per tire hazard insurance (not requested). A call to the manager resulted in a trip back to the store to resolve the issue. No thanks. Just an annoyance and lesson learned. Looks like I am not alone from all the other 1 star reviews. Caveat emptor, buyer beware. Updated: anyone notice the response is cut and pasted? Standard response, I believe there are three. Don't waste your time. I'm not going to waste mine. read more

I noticed the right rear tire was losing out on Sunday. only place open was this store. I had a very good experience here with Andrew. most tire stores like this typically don't have good reviews. he was very honest with me with me too tired to install Monday morning. then gave me bad news about my brake pads and rotors. so I went back to the original place where I got my tires put on over a year ago and bingo was very competitive on the price. That I have to call in? Let him know I did call. No one can answer how much an oil change is? I live across the street, just looking for a price for an oil change and they refuse to help. I came in knowing I needed 2 new front tires for my lil ol' 2014 Jeep Compass (they are worn out and one of them was not holding air for very long). I got two rear tires installed along with the TPMS kit. I called and showed up with my car and new tires (already bought on Amazon) on the same day, although they were busy and had people lined up for service I got my tires installed in around hour and half. They did a quick and great job on the installation for 25$ per tire, I would definitely recommend. I also got my old tires recycled at the same service. read more

We've been here twice, each time they have tried to overcharge us for ridiculous extra services. The first time was in 2019 when we took the car in for an oil change. They found that the back tires were worn and tried to have us pay $400 for two tire replacements! Absolutely ridiculous, we got the tires changed for $200 at another shop. Three years later, we gave them a second chance and went in for another oil change plus a single tire of our choosing. Then, they mentioned the brake pads could use replacing and tried to charge us an extra $570+ for the four front brake pads and fluid! Even more ridiculous. We ended up getting the pads changed at another shop for $240, less than half their price. They consistently try to bundle in extra services for double the standard price, and argue with us for calling them out. Don't come here unless you want to be charged double the standard rate for extra services that you never asked for, and expect a rude attitude if you call them out on it. read more

I have been meaning to leave this review for a year but just found the card in my wallet again. I was driving my wife's car and ran over a very large screw. I brought the car to 2 different tire shops and neither would work on it because of the type of tires it had. I was in a hurry to get it fixed before the tire went flat. Finally I stopped at Big o tires and Aureliano Garcia (the manager) said it was no problem and that he would take care of it. When I came back to pick up the car he said it was no charge. I took my car there for a flat tire. After they replaced my tire the guy Chauncey told me my front brakes and rotors were shot. I did not have the money that day for the work. A week later I went to another local shop where the mechanic showed me and told me my brakes had 50% left and rotors were perfect. They also told me my shock was leaking and needing replacement. This was also not true my mechanic said it was fine. Apparently this is an upcharge scam on people who would not know. This place cannot be trusted! Also the whole time this Chauncey kept hitting on me and made me feel very uncomfortable. A woman should NOT have to feel that way! One star to post but should be NONE! read more

On December 23, 2023, I called in to request an appt at 5:15 pm. I live in Anaheim and I had a nail in my tire and needed to get it plugged. I work in construction zones so I know what was needed. I spoke with Andrew and he said they were open and to come by as they were open until 6 pm. He looked at my tire and said it was in the "danger" zone and told me I needed a new tire. The tire would need to be ordered and not in until Tuesday morning December 26th. I asked him if he could just plug the tire/repair it he said no. His guy put 40 lbs of pressure and sent me off on my way. It got me home and I was able to spend Christmas in LA with my daughter. I got the tire plugged/repaired on December 26, 2023 for $25, no problem and as of today December 29th, 2023, the tire pressure is perfect! So sad that he wanted to sell me a tire and left me during the holiday under duress! Only reason for a 2 star because his one guy filled all my tires so at least I could get home to Anaheim and then to Los Angeles for Christmas Day. read more

Came here to get a brake inspection with Gabriel and he was super friendly and on top of everything. My biggest issue is that he informed me it will take an hour. I was visiting my parents in Irvine and my dad told me I needed to get my tires change ASAP since my cords were showing. I came here to get my tires changed. Tony Garcia told me that it would only take an hour. He also convinced me to get my car aligned since he said the cords on my tires were uneven do to alignment issues. I naively believed him. I quickly realized he was trying to convince everyone else who came after me to get an alignment as well. I ended up staying there for 3 hours and when I left my car was not the same. I lost control of the wheel several times. I live in LA and by the time I realized that the issue was caused by Big O Tires, it was too far of a drive to go back. Would give 0 stars if I could. These guys are the biggest crooks around. I stopped taking my cars here years ago for the mere fact they would always find something wrong with my car when in fact I knew there weren't any issues. My wife recently took our vehicle there because she knew there was a park close by to take our little one too while the car was being serviced. My wife is 6 months pregnant and had our two year old with her (easy target!). These crooks tell my wife the air filter and cabin air filter needed replaced. I just replaced BOTH of those items earlier this year! They also proceed to quote her $2,600 worth of work that needed done on the car and included in that quote was another cabin air filter and air filter. I just had the vehicle serviced at Honda and had them inspect the vehicle for an 80k mile check up, they didn't find anything other than we were almost due for tires and we needed an alignment done. I have been working a lot lately and my wife was just trying to get an oil change done, but was in fact taken advantage of. These guys boil my blood! read more
